There isn't any indoor seating, so this is more of a grab-your-ice-cream-and-go kind of place. After being out in the Arizona heat all day, we didn't mind one bit! My friend got a scoop of peanut butter pecan in a pretzel cone, which I thought was such a unique combination. She said it was really tasty, and I have to admit the pretzel cone definitely caught my attention. My daughter went with peanut butter ice cream in a waffle cone. The waffle cones are made homemade right there, and they also make their cookies in-house, which made everything feel extra special. I ordered a salted caramel sundae with butter pecan ice cream, and let me tell you--it was amazing! It was the perfect combination of sweet, salty, and creamy. My sundae also came with a cookie, so of course I had to try it, and it was so good. You could definitely tell it was freshly made. After spending the day exploring Arizona in the heat, ice cream was exactly what we needed. Churn was the perfect way to cool down and end our day on a sweet note!

What a great custom menu with lots of creative choices for ice-cream, ice-cream sandwiches, shake and floats, coffee and coffee desserts. Custom rotating flavors that we tried and sampled as we decided. Love how there's a secret back entrance to the ice cream parlor from Windsor Cocktail Bar next door. This is part of a cluster of good restaurants of different types along Central Avenue in Uptown. Parking available right in front of the entrance as well as around back in a private parking lot. I was so tempted by several items on the menu, but since I had just had a large lunch, I chose to try a single scoop of the Vietnamese coffee ice cream. So delicious and I loved the tiny specks of coffee. Hubs got a double scoop of strawberry ice cream, and my son got a strawberry shake. We all really enjoyed the interior and decor of the ice cream shop and the high-quality and good flavors of the ice cream. Service is really great here. The ladies were really working hard and going as fast as they could, and it didn't look easy scooping the large scoops of frozen hard ice cream. There was a line out the door on the Saturday afternoon that we showed up that moved quickly.

What's nice ordering online is that they provide an estimated time of when the order will be finished. However I always still have to wait at least 5-10 min at their pick up window until a worker acknowledges me when I'm picking up my online orders. So now I always add 10-15 min to their estimated time that they gave me so I know for sure they finished my order. Never had issues with my orders, it's always delicious everytime. So many flavors to choose from it's hard to pick sometimes. I love their cheesecake flavors, butter pecan, and cherry vanilla. Depending on my mood I order scoops of ice cream or milkshakes if I'm on the go. If you don't like ordering ahead online they have a walk up pick up window and drive thru and benches to sit outside with umbrellas. It's a great family friendly spot.

It just made me come on here to say I will be making this at home instead. Times are tough I'm all about supporting a small business but I can't keep coming back if the prices are not accurate to the menu or what was said. It's awkward to walk back in and say "hey why did you charge me 4.37 for a scoop of ice cream instead of $1 like you said.." rather than just letting it go. I'm sorry but I can just make this myself and save me way more money. I even tipped after the service didn't seem as friendly as usual. We come in all the time but today definitely made me consider counting all my "small pennies" and take a break on deserts. Probably help me lose some pounds and get a butt anyway lmao

We went to Sweet Republic after dinner for a pallet cleanser and saw the reviews and stars and was excited to drop by. The store itself was simple and had the feel of a regular ice cream parlor with bright colors and board full of possibilities. It seems that the selection is pretty diverse offering a nice selection of flavors that are "off the beaten path" such as crème brûlée, brown butter pecan, and salted caramel, along with normal ice cream staples. These were "fine" but not earth shattering. When we walked in there were three teens behind the counter and no welcome or really even acknowledgment of our existence other than we were in line. Despite the collection of flavors we seemed to annoy them and "put them out" asking to try some of the flavors. The truly disappointing part was the lack of generosity of the scoops. It is $4.50 for a single scoop and it is just that a scoop. One slide of the spoon and what ever fills the bowl of the spoon is what you get. So each scoop was a touch bigger than a golf ball. At the End of the Day, I don't like comparing but I'm used to the Valleys selection of Handels franchises where they are generous with their scoops (they brag about it) and generous with their customer service and friendliness. No need to come back with better offerings near by!
