A fast reputable place for a watch battery, watch or clock repair. Take the "TIME" TO STOP IN !!
Karen N.

Review #406 August 31, 2022 TIME To Update My past review from May 25, 2016. WOW I'm still a watch Fan of this terrific ticking professional business! I am STILL a faithful friend and customer to Eric Russell the owner of Watchbands 'N' More! He still has the patience, talent and expertise to repair a clock, watch at a reasonable price. He is so busy at times yet when I walk in to need a watch battery and have it installed too (I own 15 watches that are difficult to open with my nails ) He will drop his work in back and step out with a smile to assist Me. He will again take the TIME to work quickly and install the battery and also reset the time on my watch too! I will never stop in a department or jewelry store for my watches. New Hours: CLOSED On Sunday & Monday (He needs a rest) Tuesday - Friday 9:30AM - 5:00PM Saturday 10:00AM - 3:00PM Stop in and check out the many watches, watchbands and clocks that he also sells as well. His motto: Watch & Clock Services Antique to Modern. 'We'll Make The Time For You!" Bands, Batteries, Professional Repairs, Sales, High Timely Service. This local business has many frequent customers that know him and he knows them which makes Eric so professional, personable and knowledgeable in a Timely manner! I also have posted photos of this business being a Helper Yelper of the many walls of clocks and showcases of available watches for sale. Address: 40800 Garfield, Clinton Township. Phone: (586) 263-7700

Amazing customer Service. Fast and affordable. If you need service for your watch I definitely recommend this place. Awesome experience!

Little place, but the best place to get watch batteries and repairs! Been in business forever.

The woman at the counter refused to do something as simple as determining his ring size unless he purchased something on the spot. He explained that I sent him in to make a choice and I would come in to make the purchase. She still refused. I won't be back to this store and I regret all my previous purchases here.

From the time I walked in and was greeted and for the few minutes that it took to get the watch battery installed, and as I was leaving, the gentleman couldn't have been any nicer. He explained everything that they are able to do with all types of jewelry, whether you have heirlooms or gems that may need a new setting or repairs or what have you, they can do it all. And this isn't even everything that he was telling me. They can take a look at your jewelry and tell you if a gem is real. This is especially helpful whenever you have had jewelry passed down to you from another generation and you're unsure if it's real gold or a real gemstone. Needless to say next time I need anything done in the jewelry or watch department Ati's will be a no-brainer for me. They are outstanding and super friendly. And as far as the watch battery replacement, it was very quick and inexpensive.

I didn't know if that was the going rate so I went to another jeweler where the cost of putting those charms on is $150. I've been dealing with Maloof's for years. This is not to say I would never go there for anything -perhaps a piece of jewelry or a ring, but I would never go there for any kind of repair or work on Jewelry

A year ago, they offered the best price for a custom gold engagement ring, delivered impeccable craftsmanship, and treated me like a valued customer. That memory made us excited to return for our wedding bands. Unfortunately, that excitement evaporated the moment we were greeted by Jim. His demeanor was terse, dismissive, and bordering on condescending. Rather than guiding us through a special moment, he made us question whether we were foolish for even considering the pieces we showed interest in. After barely five minutes of engagement, he waved me off to another part of the store when I asked about silver chains. We stood awkwardly for nearly 20 minutes--no one acknowledged us, and it turned out we needed to pull a new number to get help. Meanwhile, I was fully prepared to make significant purchases. This review isn't about a single rude encounter--it's about how easily a brand can lose loyalty when they fail to deliver consistent respect and care. I'm giving Maloof two stars solely out of respect for their earlier excellence. But I won't return. If this business wants to remain relevant with a new generation of buyers, it needs to rethink who's representing it. A moment that should've been joyful was soured by apathetic service. That's the kind of dead weight that ages a brand out of existence.

They aren't open late (8 PM?) but that's okay. There's plenty of seating around and the place is dog friendly. Parking's pretty good but it does get backed up and busy sometimes so beware. They have a beautiful water fountain and loads of places to sit if you're waiting for someone to finish shopping or what not. While not every store appeals to me, the shopping here's decent. They've had some vacancies for a while, but that's okay. I usually come here since they have a crocs store, but I wish they had a Starbucks here which they do not have. During the holiday season, they have an exciting and wonderful Christmas tree with a well decorated mall. Better then most! I like that it's clean and well kept here, but occasionally there's a TON of teenagers running amuck which can be annoying. I think it's because most of the stores apply to a younger crowd versus older crowds. Overall a great place to grab a meal, do some quick shopping or just meet up with friends to walk around.

It's dog friendly, as I have seen tons of folks coming and going with their furry friends, you might even think it was a dog park, there's a lot of dogs.
