I went in to have a link added back into my watch AND have my garmin watchband switched from the rubber one to the velcro strap. They did it all in about 5-10 mins and altogether $12. Quick, easy, efficient. read more

Honest and knowledgeable and fairly priced. Had worked done on 2 watches. One battery change the other Cartier cleaned. Both now keep great time. Came in to have new croc watch band put on and he just did it for free. Good people. read more

My watch needed a new battery. We drove over around 11:30am, found easy parking behind the shop, and walked in. The owner immediately got up, and took care of my watch. He replaced the battery, cleaned out the insides and adjusted the band. Reasonable price. I'll go back again when my watch needs a new battery. read more

I take all my watch to replace battery here. Friendly staff. Mention Yelp and you'll get a discount.

Great service for battery replacement and watch cleaning. Fast service and affordable.

I took in a watch with a broken crystal. It isn't a fancy or expensive watch, but it has a lot of sentimental value to me. When I showed it to Tam, he said that he would try his best to fix it, but warned me that he may not be able to based on the design (I appreciated his honesty). A few hours later, his wife called me to tell me that my watch was done. I could tell that Tam understood the importance of this watch to me and I got teary-eyed when I saw that it looked brand new again. I can never thank him enough for what he did for me!!! I highly recommend them!! read more

Watch Zone provides superlative service and technically skilled handling, as well as being an authorized partner to high-end watch makers. The watch can be serviced and battery replaced while you wait. Best of all, so reasonably priced. Well worth the drive!! Highly recommended!!! read more

I brought my watch in to have the stem fixed. After I picked it up, it immediately starting getting condensation under the crystal. When I brought it back the owner told me it wasn't his fault, and that the watch was old. It never happened before he touched it and I thought it was pretty coincidental that it happened since he fixed it. He wasn't even willing to look at it to see if he put the crystal back on wrong. He just blamed me and the watch. I had to bring it to another watch place. They confirmed that Watch Zone caused the problem which they then fixed. Not only did he do bad work, but he didn't stand by his work. Terrible place. read more

Simply the best in the area. Friendly, fast service & reasonably priced. Hard to beat that combination. Tam & Christine....YOU ROCK!

I was referred here by a different jeweler to get my battery replaced on some watches. The service here watch zone is bar none. They're very courteous and very fast. Couldn't be any happier! read more

I brought a watch in to get a link added and a new pin. The service was great. They worked on it right away, cleaned and polished it without my asking, made sure I was ok with the new size, and changed the time because of daylight savings. They made it seem like they really cared about my experience. This is why awesome small businesses last. They have my business forever. read more

This is a business with integrity. Anyone can replace a battery, but the watch repair and servicing is a distinguishing element to their success. Pick out a watch in the case and compare it to best pricing on the 'net' and you will not find a better price. This is a gem of a business which has earned my business over many years. read more

Battery replacement and new strap for an HRM. Excellent service and very kind. Highly recommend. read more

I had a 125 year old pocket watch with no crystal - an acquaintance had dropped it about 10 years ago and the original crystal cracked....so I took the watch to three different jewelers in Walnut Creek, and the only one willing to put a crystal back on the watch were these guys. They did it for the estimate, and only took a week to get it done. It looks great, and I couldn't be happier with the result! read more

Not worth the wait, needed to fix the logo but made it much worse! Logo is crooked, made a genuine watch look fake!

I had a simple job, fixing a watchband that on a fitness watch my sister gave me. The band was way too large, and links had to be removed. I took one look at it and figured that I'd destroy the watchband and that would cost a lot more than giving someone who'd know what to do the job. The guy at Watch Zone did it in a few minutes while I waited, and it cost a very reasonable $10.00. He knew how to determine the number of links that had to be removed so it would fit on my wrist, and it's the right size and it fits - not too loose and not too tight. There's lots of parking in the back and metered street parking on Civic Drive and Arroyo Way - so park for free in the back, entering from Arroyo Way. read more

I have had many watches repaired (mostly replaced batteries) and not only do they do a good job but their prices are fair and they are honest. My last experience was bringing my husband's watch in that had its battery replaced less than a year prior unbeknownst to me. They checked their records and replaced the battery for free. They said if this battery goes out sooner than a year again than it' the watch, not the battery. I wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

Around a month ago, I took out a watch that I have not used in a while. I found that the watch was running very fast ( mechanical wind up watch ). I brought the watch in and the technician examined the watch and said that the watch needed service and that it was bone dry, needed oil. I left the watch with him. He took apart the movement, cleaned lubed and regulated the time. Around a month later I picked up the watch ( well worth the wait! ). I cannot believe what a great job he did! The watch runs great! Super accurate within a second or two a day ( Remember this is a mechanical wind up watch not a quartz ). I am somewhat of a "watch nut" and will be bringing in more watches as time goes by! Oh by the way, the gentleman is very professional and very friendly and nice to talk to as well! Highly recommend!!!! read more

I came in to have a few links removed from a Fossil watch. $8 and in & out in 10 minutes. Very friendly. Great customer service. Will come back again. read more

I accidentally dropped my watch on the sidewalk, and it stopped running. So I took it to Watch Zone and the owner, Tam Luu, looked at it as soon as I came in. He didn't like what he saw - the battery (a cheap one) had basically been taped in place and the tape could damage the mechanism. The fall had dislodged the tape. (I had replaced the battery when I was abroad, at the only place I could find: a 7-11 that sold watch batteries and staffed by a young person wearing ear buds.) Anyway, Tam showed me the battery and the tape, and explained. He removed the tape and immediately installed a new battery. Saved my watch, cost $15 and took 7 minutes.I was very relieved. I have been to his shop several times and always got great service at very reasonable prices. Highly Recommended! read more

I inherited a Tiffany gold pocket watch from my grandfather many years ago. When it came time to get the watch cleaned I took it to Watch Zone. They had it for quite a while but when I got it back it worked beautifully. I took it home and promptly put it in the clothes washer. By the time I realized what I had done it was too late. The stem had broken and the winding knurl had come completely out of the watch. I wasn't sure it could be repaired but I took it back to Watch Zone. They told me they thought they could fix it and to come back in a few weeks. When I came back the watch was good as new. They had complete re-cleaned the watch and repaired the stem. It turned out that the stem was no longer available so the guy there made a new one from scratch. The total bill for cleaning (again) and all the repairs was $35.00!!! When I asked why the price was so low, he told me he wasn't charging me for the re-cleaning. I was amazed, I'm sure any other place would have charged me up the wazoo. These guys have my business from now on. I cannot recommend them too highly. read more

I brought an expensive watch here to get the battery replaced and the next day my watch stopped working. I immediately sent it back to the manufacturer as I no longer trust this man to complete repairs on my watch, as damages have clearly occurred. When I called him to explain the situation he was extremely unprofessional and was incessantly yelling at me claiming I was framing him. I'm still unsure why anyone would "frame" someone over a 20 dollar battery. I guess this was all he could think of in order to not refund me my money. I would highly recommend never bringing a watch of value to this location, as I will now likely need to spend hundreds of dollars in repair. Please save yourself the hassle and never support this business. read more

Had crystal and battery replaced. Easy shop to find, friendly service, reasonable price-- I'll return.

I went here regularly to change my watch batteries and they are always prompt and nice. Last time I went the battery lasted exactly one hour. My husband went back for me next day and they had the nerve to say I never brought that specific watch in as that was not their battery so I must have used receipt for a different watch and they were going to check their video! I would like to tell them PLEASE PLEASE check your video because maybe you never put in a new battery as this watch was a first time battery replacement as I'm 1000% certain you'll see that specific watch in the video. Unfortunately how they handled that situation will be reason to take my watches elsewhere as their attitude over $10 was ridiculous. Now they did refund my husband the battery fee and also said the watch had moisture in it which I took elsewhere (it's only 18 months old and good quality) and low and behold that battery works and no mention of moisture. read more

This watch shop is ran by a very honest couple. Whenever I bring a watch here for any type of repair the price is always competitive. They give their honest opinion and never try to add more work. The parts used are genuine and high quality. I'm very pleased with this shop. read more

I bought my Citizen Eco Drive watch at the Watch Zone because I could not trust any online retailer. The only retailers to sell the radio controlled Citizen Eco Drive watch I wanted to get were the department stores in the malls and the Watch Zone. However, the price difference between them was huge. I found my watch at the Watch Zone at a big discount off the retailer price and with a very similar price as compared with the online retailers. The owner was so nice to explain me how to use the watch and her husband adjusted the size of the watch band several times until I got the right fit. If you are looking to buy the most accurate watch in the world consider a radio controlled Citizen Eco-Drive watch, featuring perpetual calendar, sapphire crystal face and world time in 26 cities across the globe. I was glad with my purchase experience because I got a great price and also a great service. My only suggestion to the owner was to have a website for people to find them online. read more

I have been a customer here for a few years mostly for replacement batteries and crystal for my watches. Recently I scratched up the wooden bezel of my favorite watch and the manufacturer sent me a replacement on two occasions that was just too small. When I brought it to the watch zone he was able to use his special watchmaking lathe and carve out the bezel to the proper size! Amazing work and my watch looks fantastic. He even adjusted the second bezel just in case I scratch my new one. And only charged me $25 total for the work. Apparently this tool is rare even among watchmakers. The service is fantastic, the work is fantastic, the prices are very fair and I highly recommend the watch zone to everyone! Bravo!! read more

After taking my son's watch band to a jeweler in Lafayette (Ware Designs) where he "sized" the band by removing a few links and then said that was all he could do when the band was still loose, I took it to Watch Zone today and a few minutes later the band fit perfectly. Sorry I didn't come here first...the reviews above are spot on. Fast service at a reasonable price. read more

Tam (owner) has serviced 3 of my watches, 2 Rolex & a Tudor....excellent work & fair prices......they are good people.

I found the store online and the watch I wanted to buy. Tam had it on display and was very helpful adjusting it to fit my wrist. Then it was on sale, besides! It's the first time in years I've been in such a store. I'm glad it's near-by and I'll be back. read more
