I rarely leave negative reviews, but my recent experience at Pet Lover Central in Boca Raton was…read moretroubling enough that I feel other dog owners should be aware. From the start, communication was disorganized. I had already sent in my dogs' vaccine records, yet I was asked to resend them because staff couldn't access the email address I was originally told to use. This was frustrating and felt like an unnecessary waste of time. When I picked up my dogs, several issues raised serious concerns for me. Their bed was returned broken, some of their toys were missing, none of their food was given back, and all of their treats were untouched which made me question what level of care they actually received during their stay. For a bill of nearly $900 for just three and a half days, I expected far better. What made the situation worse was the lack of urgency in addressing these concerns. Days went by without resolution, leaving me feeling that my time and my dogs' well-being were not valued. This was not the experience I anticipated, and based on what happened, I cannot recommend this facility. I hope management takes feedback like this seriously, because no pet owner should have to feel this way after trusting a business with their animals.

On top of this just being a completely new experience for my dog, he's also got anxiety so i was extremely nervous about leaving him with a stranger, at a strange house. Prior to the first overnight Liz answered any questions i had about how she handles all the dogs and assured me she'd had taken care of dogs like mine on many occasions with great success. She was right! My dog who doesn't like people and places he doesn't know warmed right up to her and her home. She sent me updates and pictures so i never had anything to worry about. She's been a lifesaver and made my situation so much easier.

All I can say is how happy my brother and I were with the services provided. Believe me you cannot hire more responsible, loving and professional People as Lisa and her coworkers. Our cat was taken care of with absolutely no worries on our part and everything that was said would be done was done! Just so everyone knows we are no special pleaders for the company. We can just tell everyone of the experience we had and that if others should need this type of service they can do no better than to hire this company. One last thought: I have on my iPhone my home Xfinity app with a camera in my residence so that I can view my residence while away. I know that everything was done because (Liz one of Lisa's employees), I saw how conscientious she really was about everything unbeknownst to her.

Attached is a photo for context My little dog had a cold, and I came in with him. I was literally escorted outside in the patio area in the heat where some patients hang out waiting for their ride or whatever. I had to ask for a lady to move her purse from the "exam table" so the nurse could take my dog's temperature (he did not have a fever like i told them). They then still proceeded to make us wait outside and literally make the doctor come to us. This is a hospital and emergency place first, maybe have grooming and boarding clients go to another separate section with its own door rather than have a sick animal wait outside or separate the sick and scared pet from its owner for the nurse to literally walk the exact same way inside and still spread any virus around. If it's still the same door and same inside walk, then how is any virus not spread if a nurse does it? Anyways, dubious about the science on that one, but most importantly, after 5 years of going there on/off, this was a first for me at this location. If you go to a clinic, the expectation is that pets there are sick, so yes, there will be viruses in the air... if you want to do it all, then make a separate section for sick and non sick pets. Imagine making sick humans wait outside at an urgent care or hospital to not spread viruses to others inside because it is also a nail salon. Not very logical
