I have Waste Pro Florida as my trash pickup. They have been randomly missing days for months. They did not pickup last Thursday. I called Friday and they assured me that they would pick it up Monday. They skipped Monday as well. I called again this morning and again they said they would pick it up today. Nope. I called at 4:30 and they said they were on their way. At 6:30 a guy in a pickup came and only took the garbage from my cans. I got a voice mail message saying that there were 30 bags of leaves and your contract only allows for 5 and for a charge of $50 they would get the rest. I have been doing yard work since last weekend and if they had picked up the bags last Thursday, there would not have been that many as I continued to add to the pile. I can't believe they have the gall to want to charge me for their lack of performance. Does this look like 30 bag? read more

Waste Pro - Recycling Center Near Me - Clearwater, Florida

Absolute crap. They arbitrarily decide when and what they're picking up, and then refuse to answer the phone when trying to call their office. I can't wait to get another provider. read more

My guys are usually really good. But they have now missed the past two Thursdays. And since they were off both Mondays for the holidays - the garbage is piling up. I agree with the others - NO ONE ever answers the phone! How does this company stay in business if no one can reach them? Lori K. - Seminole read more

I just got off the phone with them. I'll make sure to take my business elsewhere. The lady was rude and super unprofessional. She reminded me 2 times there's a 3 week waiting list and if I was still interested after knowing that. When I responded with I wanted a price quote she said "I'm asking you a question are you still interested". Lady just give me the price quote how do you know if I'm moving soon and just want info. I hung up. No thankyou. read more

If I could give these people zero stars I would. Absolute WORST F@&%* garbage pick up I have EVER dealt with in the last 30 years. They "might" pick up your trash once a week instead of the scheduled two pick up days..........maybe. They almost NEVER pick up the recycle unless it is on a non recycle day. What do you think happens to the recycle then? It goes to the garbage heap instead of recycling. Different employees almost every single time they actually do bless your street with sending someone to pick up your trash. They are either incompetent or broke. If you see just one positive review, it is a blatant and fabricated lie. read more

This company is a fraud. They bill you in 3 month increments and never show up. I have been paying since August. They have never been to my house except to drop off there cans. The customer service is the worst. They tell you what ever you want to hear to get you off of the phone. They steal your money. I cant even get them to come and get there cans. I am going to channel 8. This is ridiciose. What they are doing is illegal. It is Fraud!!!!!! read more

Worst Company, Been Calling Since 8 AM This Morning No One Answers The Phone Till 30 Minutes Go By, Then Once They Answer They Say Hold On Please read more

They don't ever answer the phone. After two weeks I never got a contained so I canceled the service two months ago and they are still billing me. Horrible customer service read more

Literally the worst holding call system I've ever seen -- and thanks to multiple missed pickups I've spent a lot of time on it.

This review is West Georgia. If the only reason I give them one star is because their customer service representatives are courteous because their trash pick-up service is terrible. They almost never pick-up the trash on the designated day. Many times they've gone two weeks without pick-up. When you call you get a voicemail to leave a message and no one ever returns the call. When I have spoken to a representative and asked to be credited for the days the trash hasn't been picked up they've stated that they cannot credit my account that it needs supervisor approval. Well guess what, no credit to the account has happened. If there are other trash collection services in your area I suggest you try them first. read more

Been a Waste Pro customer for a few years. Horrible service and even worse customer service. They constantly pick up half of the trash and leave any brush I have neatly tied and piled, per the rules, next to the can. They forget to get me at least three times a month. I call and even less help. If you are looking for a garbage company in the largo neighborhood find out who you street uses other than waste pro!!! read more

I could repeat verbatim other bad reviews on yelp. My husband switch to this company b/c of a knock on the door and offering cheaper service. Someone already said this but you pay for what you get. Shotty service. Missed pick ups and when you call forget "Customer Service" totally lacking in that area also. I complained and was told I'd get a credit (which by the way amounted to $1. something) did not see it on the next invoice. Promises and no delivery. Switching back to my old Trash company and their more expensive. I will pay for good solid service. Teresa welcomed me back sincerely. Shouldn't of switched to begin with. Good-bye Waste not so Pro. read more

We pay for once a week pick up. Our pick up day is Thursday. I have lost count how many times they "forget" to pick us up, but mark the job as complete. We call Friday morning and are promised they will get it that day. Call back in the afternoon because it still isn't picked up and promised again they will get to it that day. Friday evening rolls around, no one has picked up our trash and now they are closed and I am stuck with overflowing trash until Monday since they are closed all weekend. Every single time they use the excuse that they have a new driver on our route. This most recent time was two weeks apart and they claim both times were a different driver. I have a hard time believing they change drivers that often and that every new driver just so happens to miss my house and not the others on my street. If you actually want your trash collected, do NOT use this company. read more

By far the worst trash company I have has the misfortune of dealing with yet. I pay for pickup two days a week and at least one a month my whole street gets missed on one of the days. And it's not that they miss the street, they drive down the street and don't pickup the customers trash. Then you call them and no one will answer a phone. It took them months to bring my recycling dumpster after numerous calls and I have to call to have the driver come back because they leave the yard debris. read more

Add this to the growing list of negative reviews. If you can get through on the phone they will tell you anything to get off the phone. They miss collection days, don't tell the truth, but the bill comes like clockwork every 90 days. They also will slide in an increase with no explanation. Absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with. read more

If I could leave a 0 stars for the score I would. Do NOT use them. Our trash has not been picked up for 3 weeks, flies and maggots everywhere. You pay for 3 months in advance but they don't show up. We have called 5 times in the last 9 days, and they still haven't picked up the trash. I feel bad for the customer service reps. Waste Pro owners/management team, you should invest in more reliable employees, or pack it up and find another line of work. read more

I payed deposit and 3 months in advance. Despite paying through next month, they stopped collection of my trash for no reason 2 weeks before Christmas. It's Jan 4 and still no pickup. It's embarrassing and messy at this point and no one will answer my calls or emails or return messages. I need a better company and refund of month they didn't do their job!! read more

They get one star because zero or negative stars isn't an option. Only 1 review over 1 star is pretty telling and its only a 2 star. We pay extra for recycling but for three weeks running they have skipped Wednesday (recycling day) and just throwing our recycling in with the garbage on garbage day. Today I was outside when they threw both garbage and recycling into the truck. I confronted the driver and he gave me a litany of excuses about being tired, learning a new route, holiday season etc until I told him this was the 3rd week in a row. At that point he got amnesia and forgot his name then claimed there isn't any communication with their dispatch and climbed into the truck and started driving away with me still standing there. Overworked during the holiday season is one thing but there's no substitute for integrity and straight lying to a customer's face is a lack of integrity. If you're paid to do a job, do it and do it to the best of your ability. There's no such thing as a good excuse. No one answers the phone nor do they return the phone messages left. Time to change companies. Edit, Division Manager Helm called me this evening and his views on integrity and safety parallel my own. I was very impressed with him and was convinced to give them another chance. read more

This is by far the WORST company I have ever worked with. They don't do what they say they are going to do. They do not return phone calls. They say they have sent me a refund for canceling services with them, but they lied. They are AWFUL! For the love of anything good, DO NOT USE WASTE PRO!!! You will be so sorry!!! I am not sure how they are in business....... read more

called waste pro on Monday for a love seat and couch to be picked up. I had to pre pay 50$ for pick up on Tuesday, called back tues afternoon was told someone was coming. no one came called back on Thursday(wed. a holiday) was told they would come Friday. Calle back late Friday afternoon they were still coming. it is now 8:15 pm still no pickup. they still have my money. not a great way to do business. read more

Waste Pro has been my provider for 2.5 years. The first year was fine, regular pick ups twice each week and they take the lawn trash which must be placed in bag outside of the garbage container. Now, the services have deteriorated. No one answers the phone in their office. Finally I received the managers cell phone after numerous pick-ups did not occur for over 7 days! Now, the manager of Waste Pro does not return phone calls. During the past weeks Waste Pro picked up the garbage and they left the container in the middle of the street! Waste Pro has not returned any of my calls. I just made a payment for the next 3 months and I am sorry that I did. Waste Pro is disorganized, not customer friendly and non-responsive. read more

This is the worst garbage company I have ever had. They are incompetent fools who have no clue how run a business or to take care of their customers. They have repeatedly missed us on our pick throughout the year, but this Holiday season was the final straw!!! Our pick up day is Tuesday and Friday, so Christmas and New Years fell on our first pick up day of the week. Now there Website claims if a Holiday falls on you pick up day, then we will pick your garbage the next day. So our garbage went out Wednesday, No pick up, Thursday, No Pick up, Friday on second regularly scheduled day of the week, No pick up. Call company on Friday and they say Saturday you will be picked up, nothing Saturday, finally Sunday morning we get picked up. So I am sure Christmas week is a lot with all boxes and paper from gifts, so New Years week has to be back in track right???? Wednesday garbage goes out, No Pick up, Thursday, No pick up, Friday again our normal day, No Pick up, Saturday, No pick up, Sunday nothing, Monday no pick up. So call company, get a woman who just can not understand why I am upset that garbage has been piling up on our yard because we have to keep our garbage on the road because we have no clue when they are coming, and when I get even nastier, she hangs up on me. I mean it is inexcusable for a company to pick up our garbage once from December 22 to January 8th, when we pay them for two pick ups a week. I don't live on some small road, I am on a busy street. These fools should if anything not missed our normal second pick up day on Friday two weeks in a row. There is no excuse, and I work with a lot of realtor and people who give recommendations and I will make it my business to make sure these guys never get business from people again. Oh and we already switched companies, and our new company is $30 cheaper for same services. Do Not Use this Company!!!!! read more

Been a customer of waste pro for almost 2 years now. Pick up twice a week, plus recycling. I switched after Louie's became some other company. I though Louie's went down hill after the new company took over. But compared to Waste Pro... I've read the other reviews here and on Google and I couldn't agree more. The service is terrible. And now for this past two holiday weeks they skipped me completely. I mean, they skip me two or three times a month anyway, but two weeks straight with no pick up. I've called and left a message, of course no call back. I called and waited forever (btw, if you don't select that you want to continue to hold every 45 seconds the phone system will hang up on you). Finally reached someone who assured me someone will be there that day to pick up my trash. A week later, can still overflowing and my garage is stacking up with trash and recycling. Called again and of course they promised that they will be out. No pick up. Called again and they said they won't make it out till the next day. A manager is supposed to call me back but I'm not holding my breath. Trying to get reimbursed for this quarter and switching to another provider. read more

Today is Thursday November 2, 2017. We have used WastePro in Clearwater for many years. Problems with trash pick up began this year in 2017. At the WastePro office in Clearwater no one at any extension ever picks up the phone all day long - it doesn't matter when you call. They appear to be screening their calls, almost like they are afraid to pick up the phone. If you call and leave a message they may, or may not, call you back so you have no way to communicate with them and let them know their driver did not pick up the trash. This is the 2nd time in two weeks WastePro's driver did not pick up the trash in this entire neighborhood. When someone from WastePro does call back they tell you the driver is new, the driver is in training, the driver doesn't know the route yet, etc., and there is no guarantee anyone will come back the next day and pick up the trash baking in the Florida sun. When you tell them you want a refund for unused services and credit for the times they missed there is silence on their end. I do not recommend this service. I don't know what went wrong because they used to be very good. The problem of not picking up trash (in an entire neighborhood) started this year. read more
