Both FB and my neighbor recommended Sarnago & Sons for our disposal purposes, as we would be able to rent a dumpster to make the process easier. Before we rented the dumpster, we made a few runs to the yard with our trailer. If not for the amount of concrete we're going to have to get rid of, I'd continue doing so, because the guys who work in the front office are extremely helpful and quite funny. We have since rented a 20-yd roll-off dumpster, at $178 for 15 days. After those 15 days, the price is $5 a day. Additionally, if you need material (such as road base, fill dirt, shells, sand, etc), you can order a delivery that they'll bring with your dumpster for free. Had our project been further along, that's what we would have done. Be aware that Sarnago & Sons only sells material by the ton, so measure carefully. The ONLY complaint I have, and it's a minor one, is that my dumpster was delivered early. I called on Tuesday and was told that the roll-off wouldn't be ready on Wednesday, but they could deliver in the morning on Thursday. I agreed, processed the reservation, and confirmed Thursday. There was a small amount of confusion on Joe's part ("the roll-off guy") about the days and dates, but it happens to everyone. After a long week, Friday finally comes and you're bummed to realize it's only Thursday. Joe also took my contact info so that the driver could call me on his way, which would be helpful on a narrow residential street early in the morning. So, like I said, dumpster came early, on a Wednesday afternoon (with no warning call) instead of Thursday morning. But really, I don't count that against anyone. It allowed my husband, myself, and another set of helping hands to get started on our cleanup MUCH sooner. We're probably going to have to order another dumpster to complete this work, but I'll be happy to support a local business, especially one as helpful as Sarnago & Sons has been.

Usually we wait for electronic recycling in our area (most times it is at Countryside HS), but with COVID-19, we needed a trip to the city! Lots of construction going on.

Over the span òf 2 days, they dropped what they were paying in half. When I asked why, I was told " the copper market has fallen off." Nothing could be more wrong. The "copper market" has not dropped or become less in demand for the past year. They dropped what they were paying from $3.20 per pound, to $2 a pound in 1 day! I also found out they were paying anyone else at least $2.50 a pound. That is just plain WRONG! BE CAREFUL WHEN DEALING WITH THESE GUYS!
