He took care of our and other customers' orders and answered questions in a knowledgeable yet laid-back way, appropriate for the Winston-Salem area. And he also cleaned up the place! That, and I believe they pull shots more on the ristretto side. It also could be that because some of their syrups are homemade, th balance of water in the syrup causes for more dilution in the taste vs. traditional mfg syrups. For this latte loving girl, I've found that ordering my lattes "short" (less milk" or with extra ice is a sufficient workaround. This little gem is a nice "third place" in Ardmore. Dark farmhouse modern interior that can get a little loud at times. Baristas are friendly enough. Bring your own cup and they discount 10% off your drink total!
