My windows were smeared,my wheel were still dirty ( I was told it wouldn't come clean and I did it myself). They were rude and the list goes on. Wash Works can get packed, I would carve out between an hour to an hour and thirty minutes from start to finish of this service. You first pay for the type of service you want then they wash your car and vacuum it out thoroughly. The wait can be intense because the line is typically long. Took 50 minutes to get my car cleaned. Last car in waiting line & no one cleaned it. 2nd line cleaned, emptied and filled back up. People started cleaning those cars. Some dude busy on his phone didn't know his car was done and held up my line. 30 minutes since arriving, my line emptied and I pulled all the way up, and asked for a refund so I could leave. I told them they were cleaning 4 cars deep in other line that arrived after me and hadn't touched my car. Didn't believe me & sent a guy to review video to verify. After all that, they only sent 2 people to clean my car. Arrived at 11:22 and left at 12:14. Used to be a great place. Hadn't been there in years and will never go back. After I got home, they didn't vacuum the rear area. I could only confirm they cleaned drivers floor mat (still wet), didn't clean back seat floor mat, and couldn't determine if the passengers sides front and rear mats were cleaned or not. Lines have become ridiculous but they do have a monthly $60 subscription for unlimited wash which i take advantage of when i can, since i am not staying in your ridiculous line. I wash my car pretty frequently so to me the $60 is worth it. Service after the fact, well is my car better looking when it went in, yes. This used to be my favorite car wash when it really was Wash Works, - before it was sold. They were efficient and thorough and could easily handle a lot of volume. Takes too long to get through for the cleaning and vacuuming. They line the cars up so you are stuck waiting for them as they work their way through. You shouldn't have to spend 30 minutes at a drive thru car wash. Just not enough people working. read more

They updated the wash tunnel which is nice, but the efficiency plummeted. It takes a lot of time to get in and out of the car wash if you get the gold/full service. It is not a bad car wash, but I don't have the time to wait over an hour to leave the car wash, when before it took 20 minutes at most. I hope they are able to figure out a more efficient way of running this business because there is potential, but as of now I have a hard time seeing myself come back. read more

This is definitely not the old Wash Works. Not even sure it retains the name. I loved the new setup. You drive to a booth, select the level of wash and pay. Then you drive your car through the car wash! Once done, you get in line and the attendants vacuum, wipe, etc depending on what you selected. They did a great job on my car - cleanest it has been in a long time- including wheel rims etc. I paid $28 for the gold wash,, but there are several levels to choose from. Then when it's done you drive off. The former store and inside area is gone, but there is still a restroom and under cover waiting area. I think my time there was about 40 minutes start to finish. First time back since new management. Went through tunnel twice, glad they caught that the car wasn't clean after the first time. I got the gold package, my interior wasn't spotless but they definitely vacuumed and wiped the dash down. The driver side was really clean but there was some cleaning residue left on the outside of passenger door. Took me a little over an hour. I think the overall 2 star rating is a bit unfair. I've been twice and both times I've been satisfied. On my first visit I went with a basic wash for $19 and it was indeed basic. Wash, rinse, vacuum, hand towel exterior dry, windows cleaned in and out and the inside dusted. On my second visit I went with the Super Works for $26.99. The Super Works included the basic wash with Triple Clear Protectant, Sealant Wax, Wheels Cleaned, Tire Dressed and Air Freshener. The wash both times took about 30 mins. I'd visit again!! read more

I asked a friend for a car wash referral and was told this "is where everyone goes" although they hadn't been in a while. That's believable because there were lots of people waiting for their cars. At one point, I counted 14 cars waiting to be dried/serviced amongst the 3-4 guys working. Then I observed the guy drying my car attempt to open the door and stand inside the car to dry to roof. Not sure why they don't have stools to reach. Also, I still had dirt on and in my car after the $30 wash. Definitely not worth it and won't be back. read more

Used to be a great car wash but this new ownership has let it slide. Will never be back. There used to be pride in ownership, nice plants around, and really good cards. All that is gone and their ac was busted on 104 degree day I came. Not enough personnel, takes forever to get through it, no nice waiting room. New ownership feels like they're just milking what used to be a good car wash. They don't even have the signs posted for different car washes they provide...they just hand you a beat up piece of beat up cardboard. I was in line for 10 mins and the attendant waved a white women in front stating that she was there but she wasn't in line .The gentleman in front of me and behind me got out of their car cars and told him that I was in line and she was at the next door business on the side. And he let her stay there and ignored the fact that I had been their the entire time . I quess because I was black and she was white she got away with it. I used to go to Wash Works 3-6 times a month (4 cars). The people who took it over raised prices 2-3 times and the service deteriorated. Now, another owner has taken over and raised the prices yet again and discontinued the frequent user card. I will never be back. Doing the math, they will lose a potential of $1800/year from my business. To lose a customer by not allowing a 10th cleaning which would cost them $1.00 at best is insanity. They don't offer the upper services at times for whatever reasons and not the time window. Customer service is none existent. Because I was there before the 90 minutes closing. Their machine wasn't working, so they did a hand wash. The only catch is, as I watched, it was just without soap, just pressure water! My car sat so long it had water spots. My rims weren't clean, and I didn't have the time to wait ANOTHER 45 minutes to have my car re-sprayed with water. read more

My how things have changed... and for the better (exponentially so, actually) Now, waaaaaay n back in the day, I used to come here for car washings. They were quick and proficient with theirs services offered. I was always pleased. Then about 10 years ago or so, the place changed and the work was always lackluster. Wipe downs were poor and streaks were everywhere. There would even be areas that weren't even touched. That said, I stopped going altogether. I wasn't cool with paying my hard earned money for subpar service that I had to go behind and finish FOR THEM. I went about my merry way for a decade always passing Wash Works and simply rolling my eyes. This past weekend, however, I was out & about and drove by. The cars were looking exceptionally sparkly (lol - yes, I said, 'sparkly') so I decided to whip around and get in line (there's ALWAYS a line on Saturday. Sunday - just be prepared). The manager was extremely friendly (dude in green shirt) and answered any questions I had. Once in line, it moved a lot faster than I expected. I opted to get the 'Super Clean' (47.99). This service includes: 'Super Works Wash'; thorough wiping of all vinyl/leather surfaces, thorough cleaning of cup holders door pockets etc.; Floor mats (4) are washed/ shampooed/ cleaned.; with sand or dog hair removal limited to time available. There's also a 'Rain Guarantee' - Rain within 24 hours of purchase - 48 hours to return for FREE Super Works with proof of purchase. I must say, once I got my car, it looked FANTASTIC! Showroom ready, even. The interior was spotless and my mats were so clean/ conditioned that I even slipped for the 1st day getting used to the newly polished mats. You may need to buff the interior hard pieces down (a little conditioner was left behind), but it was NOTHING to wipe down in comparison to what excellent work they did. Now I'm not a big spender for car washes but THIS was worth every penny. Glad to be back. read more

I signed up for membership at $38.99. The next month they took $58.99 and told me the first month was promotional only. I canceled my contract with the assumption that I was still in contract for another month after canceling my contract. Went to get my car washed within that month and was told I could not because I canceled my contract although I paid for the month. When asked for cancellation policy, service clerk was unable to provide one but said he would have owner contact me. Owner has not contacted me. They took my money for a month of service and would not allow me to use it that month. They basically got away with taking $58.99 from my account with no services! Over an hour to get my car into the wash and then it sits for 20 mins to get dried. I don't live in Bmore anymore, but here often and this is my last time coming to this place. Went to WashWork on Howard St in Baltimore this morning. For the second time in about three weeks, their power wash tunnel is down. It was disappointing, but I went ahead and accepted the hand wash only, paid the full price to get my car washed as it was needed. I've always been super happy with their services, but today was just not Ok. They missed a bird dropping on my sunroof that I was able to get off afterwards with a Clorox wipe. Worse, the front of my car, just below the windshield wipers, still had a lot of "gunk" that could have easily been removed in the power pressure tunnel, was still there, see pictures attached. I've been extremely pleased with your services in the past and will return once your tunnel is back in service. Once you resume your regular services as well as the high quality, I am very likely to write an updated review. The "only" 3 stars are for the mediocre service received while your power wash tunnel is out of commission. Please let me know when you are back in business as I am a regular. read more

Car had bird droppings and soggy leaves in the sill and streaks of pollen. I asked if they could run it again or finish the job and was told No. I asked for the Manager who was rude and aggressive when I asked for a refund. he said, it's hard to get cars real clean. I said that's why I come to a professional car wash, to get my car real clean. He refused to run it again or a refund so I picked up towels and paper towels and started cleaning myself. He told me that wasn't allowed and to leave and that I was banned from the car wash. I repeated that I'd like to leave with a clean car. He stood over me, I'm 5'2" and 64 years old and recently out of the hospital. And loudly said to me, Move your car now. read more

Whatever you do, DO NOT take your car to Wash Works! My car was dent-free without scratches before I went there on last weekend. Also, workers Stole multiple items out of my car as I waited forever and a day because their tunnel was down due to a broken chain. If there is anything missing out of your car after leaving there, trust me...it was them! Don't waste your time, belongings and money! A customer should not have to take items that belong to them out of their cars and off of their door when their spending their hard-earned money. Truthfully, the items weren't even worth the risk. I got the Super Clean deal for 59.99. They scratched the side of my car and did not even clean the back seat. The workers yelled at me and slammed my car door. I have been a steady customer until the pandemic and haven't been in about a Year. My first customer interaction was fantastic. Then I get to cashier and hand him my money in his hand. He proceed to put my money on counter. I explained to him good customer service is placing the money back into my hand to which he just stared at me. I then found the owner and explained that he should speak to him employee. Together we go to speak to the cashier and they start speaking in another language to one another while the owner is picking something from the cashier's hair.
