Great laundry, opens at 5 am. Clean machines, reasonable, keyed restroom, a lot faster than doing it at home.

My washer broke and while we waited for a new one to arrive, we use this place. It's clean, the machines are big, the staff is nice. They also have tables and a few vending machines so you can wait for your laundry. No coins necessary. read more

***This is for drop off Service only*** Had some outdoor curtains that needed to be washed. Last year I dropped them off at Itasca cleaners and they charged $180 for 12 curtains and took 1 week. I decided to try the drop off laundry service this year at this place. They charged me $30 and when I asked when I can pick it up, she said "in 3 hours". What! Wow!! So I show up to pick them up....they were all folded neatly and ready to go. I'll be back next year! read more

This laundromat have new owners and their greedy as hell now they're putting 3% surcharge on our fucking credit cards or debit cards and now they don't want us to use our coins in the laundry machines that's fucked up. FYI, they should put a fucking sign that they're charging 3% surcharge on the cards. There's no sign. read more

This is honestly the best and cleanest laundromat I have ever used! It is so nice that I actually prefer to do my laundry here than at home. I can get a week's worth of laundry done in less than 2 hours. The machines are clean, work and everyone is pleasant and respectful both the employees and customers. Love this place! read more

I love this laundry mat. If you get the smart wash card you can put money on it with cash, credit and I believe debit. It's also what you would use after hours to enter the building when it is not staffed. While we've never done that, it's great to have that option. I've never checked my account since registering the card, which is my bad, because I'm pretty sure when I registered it said you get perks and points (who doesn't like that??). Another perk if you use the card for the washer and/or dryers, and the machine isn't working for what ever reason, the staff can track your payment and refund your money to use on another machine. This is something that can't be done with quarters!!! The place is always clean. They staff is always helpful. They are bilingual: English and Español! They also have change machines to switch from bills to quarters and bill exchanger to go from larger bills to smaller bills. Be careful they're right next to each other and I've made the mistake of throwing a $20 into the quarter machine thinking I was going to get smaller bills and got quarters. That was my own fault. Thankfully I was able to exchange $10 in quarters for bills and kept the rest in case I have small loads to do at home. It's great for big loads, I wouldn't go there if I have less than 4 loads of laundry because it's cheaper to do smaller loads at my apartment. But we go once a week and get everything done in a few hours. It's conveniently located and we can go in start the wash, go grab food or something and come back throw it in the dryer and leave again while it dries. There's plenty of table space to fold. There are busier times than others so be mindful of when you plan to do laundry. Plus there are other smartwash locations, as long as you have the card you can go to any of them at any time!!! read more

This is the cleanest laundry mat that I have ever been to!! They sell laundry products behind the counter at a reasonable price (I forgot fabric softener & bought a bottle of Downey for $3.50) and they even offer complimentary coffee to customers! They also sell prepaid laundry cards that you can load money onto which is super convenient!! read more

My family moved to the area a few months ago and while we were in the process of purchasing a washer/dryer we needed a place to do laundry. We found Smart Wash by chance as we were driving by and stopped in. The attendant was very helpful and gave us a quick rundown of the payment process and how to work the machines. The facilities were clean and the machines did the job. They do have TV's throughout the place, but they were all on Spanish channels when we stopped by. Good amount of seating and a few folding tables available too. read more

Of all the reviews for this site I'm amazed that no one has mentioned the app for either iOS or android you can use to do your laundry here. Although I have a washer and dryer at my home I choose to drive over from Lombard to go to this specific laundry mat when I have a large amount to do. Like prior reviews, Smart Wash is incredibly clean and the staff here is equally as helpful. For example: I wouldn't have known about this app that I'm going to describe without the attendant who, I swear must be here 24 hours a day, walking me through my options and showing me how convenient this fun gadget is! After getting the app (FasCard) by scanning the QR inside by the Change machine I can now do EVERYTHING via my phone! No more carrying my wallet and/or loyalty card. As well as being able to add money to my acct I can now scan the QR on each washer/dryer to start, extend my dry time as needed AND get notification when my washers/dryers are done... ALL while in my car/cafe/where ever! AMAZING!! I've never been to such an innovative place ESPECIALLY not a laundromat! I've found I'm not paying more for all of this either, I have laundromats much closer to my house charging the same price but NOWHERE NEAR the quality! Can't say enough good things about Smart Wash!!! read more

Really really love this place. After trial and error with MANY laundromats in the area, this is my all time favorite. You won't find a cleaner, more fair priced laundromat in the area. Not to mention they have a plethora of machines available and supplies if you forget anything. They are hands down my absolute go-to for laundry services. Even the clientele are pleasant to be around. This place makes me not hate laundry day. i had trouble once with garbage from the ground ending up in my laundry but i spoke up and the situation was rectified promptly at no expense to me. i won't be going anywhere else for me laundry needs! read more
