Our dryer is on the fritz suddenly. We are waiting for someone to come out and give us a repair estimate to decide if we are getting ours repaired or buying a new one. Since we are eating at India Palace (which is in the same plaza) anyway, we brought a laundry basket of wet clothes to throw in the dryer to dry while we have lunch. I have not used a laundromat in over 3 decades, so I cannot comment on prices. This place is very clean and nice, lots of machines but lots of customers as well. Update 2024. Name change: Main Street Plaza Laundry Was that time of the year to wash all of our bedding including down comfort. Came back to this place because I like that I do not need cash - just load a card worn your credit or debit - Super convenient. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they remodeled, new floors, counters, and machines. Clean, all machines in order, and a live person working to make sure things go well. The bathroom is reserved, under lock (conveniently opens with the card), for customers so it is clean. Will be back next year. read more

Respectfully, this is the worst laundromat ever - they tow their own customers if they park and walk off for 5 minutes. Owner never even at the laundromat, is just surveying from the comfort of his home. Never coming back, people should stay away if they don't want to pay fines for using their laundry machines. read more

I have been a long time customer of this laundromat until recently. I was unloading my clothes from the top loader washing machines when i seen a bug from the corner of my eye. This caught my attention and paranoia all at the same time upon further inspection i seen 3 more. Cockroach's they were cockroaches. I understand they might not be fully infested as the place stays very clean. I reached out to them as a loyal customer and no response what so ever. This Laundromat is the cleanest around. All the machines were working. Best of all it's open 24 Hours! It's also known as Laundry World.

I have been to this laundromat more than a dozen times now, so I feel I can deliver a fair assessment. They offer a decent variety of machines here. Prices vary depending on the size and settings selected. In April 2022, top loaders are currently 3 bucks and the side loaders currently range from maybe $4.35 to $6.10 per load. BEWARE: on most machines, you will be just completely wasting your money if you select anything other than a "COLD" cycle. In all of my trips, I have tried different machines. Each time, I have attempted to wash my loads on "Normal Warm" and I have only located one machine in this entire place that seems to actually get warm or hot water. All others wash your laundry ice cold, regardless of which mode you select. I'm not going to publicly post the washer I.D.# because I don't want them to disconnect the heated water on that one, too!! @#$%@!! By the way, the hotter the cycle selected, the more they charge for the wash on the side loader machines. Yet, on almost all machines in this place, all you are getting is COLD, regardless of what you pay for! Today was a bad day at the laundromat. I had two small loads- one light, one dark. I used washer #49 for my darks. I sincerely wear A LOT of black yoga pants. To my dismay, my clothes came out streaked with a white substance. Grrrrr. I put my light load in the dryer and then busied myself locating the streaks so I could re-wash the dark load. I brought a handful of items that were streaked (by what I hope was someone else's soap!) to a sink that is located in the middle of the room along the main aisle. There is a sign there that says "No Washing Clothes, Please." I ignored it because I felt this was (a) not "washing" and (b) not my fault that some weird substance came from the machine and got onto my load. I spot-cleaned two of the pairs of yoga pants (just rinsed off the streaks before tossing them into my favorite machine) and naturally the attendant came over and yelled at me. She said no washing in the sink. I explained what happened and told her there was an issue with the machine and told her the washer I.D. #. She put ALL of the blame on me. First she said I probably had too big of a load (I did not! The machine was less than half full!!) then she said that machine wasn't for washing and she pointed at a more expensive side loader which she informed me was for washing (what?!!) Finally, she completely dismissed me when I reiterated that the issue was gunk in the machine. (Ummm?) It's not like I asked for my money back for the bogus load. At least let me rinse the spooge off my pants, what the heck. If you're looking for washers and dryers, you will find both here. If you are looking for friendly customer service, you definitely won't. This was my first actual interaction with an attendant in more than 12 visits. Previously I have said "Hi" and "Thank You" to both the female and male attendant on several occasions and they just frown at me and say nothing. I don't know what to do with that. If there was another option closer, I would never return here again. A simple smile and/or a little bit of understanding could certainly go a long way. They do keep the floors very tidy, though. I work nearby, and I spied this new laundromat tucked away in a strip mall. The reason I decided to go there was the gigantic stuffed gorilla propped on top of a canoe skeleton I could spy from the parking lot. Nothing wrong with a little whimsy while you do one of the universe's least entertaining chores, right? It's also open until 10pm on weeknights which suits me just fine. There are machines a-plenty and all of them are run on re-usable laundry cards (like credit cards that you load with money and swipe to pay). This way you don't have to worry about quarters or cash. Speaking of money, the largest front-load washers (80lb capacity, as I was told) cost a maximum of $9.00 per load--slightly less if you don't want to use the "extra wash" and "extra rinse" functions. There are also medium sized washers that cost ~$6.00 and small ones that cost ~3.95 (I think). I used the largest size, and it fit a thick queen-size comforter, two full sets of queen-size sheets, two towels, and three big sweaters. The wash load took ~20 minutes. There are gigantic dryers too, and because I had such a huge amount of large items, I basically dried them twice. If you're smart and split up your load more than I did, this won't be a problem at all. The woman working the counter was eager to help explain the machines to me and was very friendly. I found the place to be quite clean and not very busy at 7:00pm on a Monday. Over all, I'm very pleased with my first (no joke) trip to a laundromat, and I'd go back again. read more

I'm always pleased to see a laundromat that doesn't require you to bring a stack of singles or a bag of quarters. TONS of machines to choose from, all stainless steel, commercial grade, and QUICK. A wash was 12 minutes for what's normally 25. Mega huge dryers made quick work of a load of towels. read more

I used this facility after a long road trip, had tons of laundry. Best thing about this laundromat was the wonderful, huge amount of machines. I counted 6 or 7 that were out of use in my aisle though. The attendant was super helpful, and the restroom was clean. I did not love the card use thing, maybe because I saved a boatload of quarters and really wanted to use them. I felt the cost of laundry was a bit overpriced, but I'm sure it's what they charge for most machines at any laundromat in this area. It is cheaper in my home state. They were putting in a new floor by the driers so that was kind of a mess, floor dust under the drier, and of course a couple things fall out on the floor. Loved that there were tons of rolling carts available, and nice folding tables. Attendant was vigilantly cleaning.....doing a ton of laundry with a mask on the whole time is awful, but they do enforce this rule for everyone's safety. read more

Clean and well lit laundromat. I like the card system because you don't have go to the bank to get cash or scrounge for quarters. It's nice having an attendant there, if a machine has problems, and Joe is always friendly and helpful. I will start off by saying, i do not like the prices but where else can you go to get the cleanest clothes and the best customer service from the owner himself. The other employees do not have a uniform but they are willing and available to answer any question you have in a timely fashion. They don't leave there post for long. They also have some building blocks to keep the kids calm while waiting. Cost 3 baskets full of clothes (apr. 30 gal)=$ 9.75 a little smaller =$7.50 and so on. Happy laundering read more

This laundromat is excellent! It is clean, has TONS of machines to choose from of many different sizes, has a card system so you don't have to go in with bags of coins, there are folding tables all throughout the laundromat, more than enough carts for many people to use, and the machines are superior to any others I have experienced in a laundromat. Dave, who manned the info window (and may be the owner), was helpful in providing information on how the card system worked and gave us a quick overview of the different washer options. My husband and I had been in town for a family wedding and extended our stay a few weeks to visit with friends and family. This laundromat made our job so much easier and faster! The laundromat is in a strip mall so there is plenty of parking which makes getting your laundry to the car super convenient. I highly recommend this over others we have used in the area in the past! Ridiculous. First time here. Huge sign on the door that says they are open 7am to 10pm". Dropped off clothes and came back at 9:30 pm to pick up and they were clothes. Either stay open till the time your sign says or change the sign. Thats all. read more

Although the place is clean and there are huge machines to wash with...I have to say the schedule of the laundromat did bother me i got there one day right after 8 and the sign said last wash at 830 i was there before that and the guy was so rude to me after my daughters and i unloaded our clothes he said we couldn't wash i was so angry. If we couldn't wash maybe he should have said so before we unloaded since he was just talking BS with someone anyways! He went on to say if i had less clothes then i could wash well i had three people washing clothes so why couldn't i wash then? I offered not to fold there to not keep him. He was so rude i went to a cheaper place. This laundromat is more expensive but cleaner than most so not saving me any money I'll go elsewhere if I'm going to be treated rudely!!! I'll clean up were i go if need be! Change your time and oh i was treated better by that ass of a worker when i lost 70 pounds after going back months later!! Get new employees!! The guy with glasses and longer hair! Joe was nice the nicer worker that you have!! It's a shame when you employ people who are so rude! There's an abundance of machines to choose from in varying sizes and they have a bunch of different options for washing. There's a lot of spacious driers to choose from too! Overall, great place. This place is great. It has an abundance of washing machines with assorted sizes. I was a first time laundromat-er with large dog beds to wash. So you can imagine the shock and confusion on my face. Joe didn't hesitate to ask if I needed help with anything. He proceeded to walked me through how to use the laundry card and the best way to wash my dog beds. read more

Had been coming here for years but no more. Passed 2 other laundromats to come here. The last two times have been treated with extreme rudeness by the same guy with the pony tail, apparently as another reviewer. We had already unloaded our laundry in the carts and refused to let us in the building. When I asked why he just replied the last load has been called. I asked when they closed and he refused to answer. Didn't have but a couple loads to dry as our dryer was down. He was rude to the point that my 8 year old daughter was crying in the back seat of the car, scared out of her wits. If management doesn't take care of this they won't have a business to worry about soon. I usually don't write reviews but this time I took the time to create an account to let people know that what was once a great place to come to is not anymore because of one person that management keeps around. Between the reprehensible treatment and this earlier closing going for other laundromats. Found others much cheaper as well. read more
