As an American Hispanic who recently moved to the Vancouver area, I had a very uncomfortable and disappointing experience at King Car Wash in Vancouver, Washington. This happened on two separate occasions, and it made me feel disrespected and unwelcome as a customer. The first incident happened about three weeks before March 5, 2026, while I was washing and vacuuming my car. A younger employee/manager came up to me in a very aggressive and cocky way about my music. My radio was not extremely loud, but instead of speaking to me respectfully, he came over with an attitude and even reached into my car and touched my radio knob. I felt that was completely inappropriate. Nobody should be touching a customer's car or belongings without permission. After that, he kept circling around me and staring at me while I was trying to finish cleaning my car. It felt like he was trying to intimidate me. I stayed respectful and told him there are bigger things to worry about than music at a car wash, especially when the car wash is open to the public. The second incident happened on March 5, 2026, around 8:38 PM, when I came back to ask about their monthly wash prices. Before I could even wash my car or continue as a customer, the same employee told me I was banned from being there. He said it with a cocky attitude while smiling and laughing, which made the situation feel even more disrespectful. When I asked why, he claimed I cursed at him, which I did not. I never cursed at him. As I was leaving that same night, around 8:38 PM, he put his middle finger up at me, which was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. I also want to say that during the first interaction, I heard him mumble something that sounded like "you dark people." I do not know exactly what he meant, but it made me feel like there may have been a racial issue involved. Being new to the Vancouver area, that made the experience feel even worse. A business that is open to the public should treat every customer with respect. This employee appeared younger, but he did not act mature enough to be running or representing a business. The way he acted was disrespectful, immature, and bad for the business. I'm sharing this because nobody should have to go through that while simply trying to wash their car or ask about monthly prices. Customers deserve respect, fairness, and professionalism. read more

Wash Kings was fine. They try to sell you the $34.00/month package, conveniently auto billed to you. Nope. Wasn't doing that. The only other choices are what the attendant said was "soap & water" for $10 or "the works" (I'm assuming wax or whatever) for $20. I decided to try soap & water, as I'm never going to pay $20 for a car wash. It was fine. The vacuums seemed to have a strong suction, unlike some weaker ones at other car wash places. They didn't give me a little wipe for my dash. But yay I for an air freshener-with their name on it of course. I haven't opened it yet so I don't know how it smells. All in all, my car looks cleaner on the outside. But did they earn my loyalty? Meh. read more

I went there for my free car wash today. Wow! This place did a great job. I could see all the soap on my truck that the car wash uses to clean my truck. It's came out cleaner than a whistle. This is an average car wash. It does an OK job. The monthly membership thing is a good value, but trying to cancel it is a royal pain in the neck. I always feel like I'm getting scammed by companies like this that lure you into a monthly membership and then it's automatically renewed. Don't wait till the last day to try to cancel your membership at this business because they auto renew it seven days prior to it being due. That seems a bit shady to me. If you can't gain business by just being upfront and letting the customer choose auto renewal or not then maybe you don't deserve a good review. read more

Excellent amenities and employees and staff were accommodating. Excellent vacuum area and lots of towels to dry your car off with. My only recommendation is to have someone controlling the Vacuum cleaning area, we watched a large dark ford expedition drive up without a car wash and use the vacuum and towels. I pulled through to order a single wash and the very nice gentleman at the self-service pay station was there to explain membership benefits to new users. I told him I just wanted to try it out and he offered the top-tier wash for free. I am not sure if the top tier (of three) is much better than the basic wash, because I don't have anything to compare it to until I go back again - but I can say that I will be back. For the VACUUMS! Hold on to your hats (and anything else nailed down) because these vacuums are powerful! And they're just *on*. No time limit outside of a request to be courteous if people are waiting. No feeding coins into a half-sucky vacuum that hasn't been serviced in decades. The vacuums are also complimentary! You also have access to a mat washer, micro fiber cloths, and glass cleaner. All without spending your hard earned quarters for single use products. It's included in your wash and I think that makes it worth the value. If you're into quick drive-by washes, you can do that, too. But to me, the extra amenities really make Wash Kings stand out. I've never even considered getting a package for my 10 year old farm working minivan. Not until now, that is! read more

We took our 4-month-old Tucson 2025, through the car wash, the 2nd time using the brushes. The brushes scratched the back liftgate just below the window all the way to the bumpers. We are senior citizens who keep it the garage. We noticed them the next day and took it over to the Vancouver location. The next day we received word that they had photos of our car exiting the car wash with no scratches. There is no other explanation to explain how the scratches would occur in the pattern that they did other than something following the body of our car. No collision makes, no paint residue nothing other than scratches that would correspond to the brush track of the machine. I am so upset and can't believe that they would not accept responsibility for something that was obviously done by the equipment at their car wash. Don't take your vehicles there they won't take responsibility for anything. Be warned!! read more

I have a membership to this place and dedicated to get a carwash. This place always does a great job on my car. After the carwash they have a free vacuum and towels with glass cleaning spray to clean the inside. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great carwash. read more
