I was hesitant to use this place because of prior reviews, but my experience was adequate. The machines worked. They all took cards. The pricing scheme is obfuscatory, and is much more expensive than I think it should be. Went during the day and there were just a couple other cars. No one bothered me while I figured out the system and did my clean, which was good. read more

0 stars you can do it at the kaady and you'll get your car clean and plus free vacuum. Dirty and cheap quality foam that smells horrible

Charged too much, what a rip off. $32 for supposedly $15 dollars worth of water/pressure/chemicals? WTF?!

I went to this car wash to throw out trash and vacuum my car. Instead of picking up trash and walking to the trash can one million times, I used a trash bag to collect trash and was going to throw it out right before I vacuumed. The employee came up to me very aggressively and said "you're not about to throw that out here are you?" I said, "Yes, that is why I am here." She rudely said "Go to another car wash. You can't throw that out here." The bag was a kitchen trashcan sized bag of trash. That's what a self serve car wash is for??? Then she sat i. the front seat of her car and gave me a death glare for 45 minutes while I tidied my car. Then, when I was done, I sat in my car for five minutes while I was looking up my next destination on gps. I was waiting for my friend to text me her address which took 4 minutes. . She walked up to my car and said "Leave my property. You're done, leave my property!!!" While motioning me to move. I had just left work, in nice clothes, just trying to clean my car and was treated HORRENDOUSLY. I went there to clean my car and left so confused and in fight or flight. Do not go here, the workers are aggressive and weird. read more

They not filter their water and it not only smells horrid it leaves a green/gray slime on your vehicle that has to be scrubbed off. The slime on your windshield makes driving very unsafe and it should be illegal for them to use this dirty nasty 3rd world type water. They are making a profit damaging vehicles and putting live at risk by impairing sight when they are making a profit. I would like to meet the owners and explain this too them and I would like to see how they filter this water. I know they do not use fresh water or city water. DO NOT USE THIS DISHONEST BUSSINESS!!!! They are abusing and causing damage to your vehicle and your pocket book. I love my vehicle and they do not care about anything but making a profit do not care about you or your safety . They should be shut down and repay those who were exposed to this toxic and damaging practice. This is not how business is done in the USA. If you cause harm and do not correct it you should be put out of business and repay those who are harmed. I will file a complaint with the city of Vancouver. Turn your filters back on and leave them on while you use fresh water to give the people what they pay for. A clean and safe vehicle. When you take my money and disrespect me that is causing harm to me. I will never spray my vehicle with your sewer water again. Yes you should repay me and all others who you have vandelized. read more

their leaf blower jockey tried to provoke a physical confrontation with me for complaining that he had hearing protection and I didn't, as he was 6' away. The walls make it louder, it was deafening and he's like, "You mad, bro?" Dude has no idea how much prison time I may or may not have done. If he keeps mouthing off to the customers, he'll get the fight he's looking for. read more

I will never come back here to wash my car! Even with two of us working as fast as we could, trying to save on both water and soap, the price was outrageous. We ended up paying $76.50 just to wash our own car. WHAT?! That is absolutely insane! Don't waste your time, money, or energy on this place. read more

The machine will scam you for your money I ended up paying $21.22 for 5 minutes like that's just insanity

Don't use your credit card here. They charged me over $29 to use the pressure washer for 12 mins. When I paid cash 4 mins cost $4. They over charge when the opportunity is there read more

I've been using this car wash for a while , and today the stupid habibi indian smelly worker called the cops on me for trying to pay and wash my car. It's a 24-hour spot so why the worker was mad at me for washing my car I have no idea. Don't waste your money here they make enough scamming people anyways. read more

I arrived at this car wash late in the evening on a Saturday when there was no one around, and I was completely alone. I had just bought new wheels for my car, and I needed to swap them, clean the old ones, and store them in my car. I had everything I needed and quickly replaced the wheels. The old wheels needed to be washed for future sale. At the moment I paid for the wash, I suddenly heard a loudspeaker blasting a series of insults directed at me, and the man demanded that I leave his car wash. But who is he to talk to customers like that? I paid for the service and was using it; I didn't do anything to him or damage any of the equipment to warrant such shouting. After hearing those insults, I decided not to wash my car anymore. Furthermore, I'll be filing a complaint with my bank to cancel the payment. For such service and attitude, not a single cent should be given! read more

I have used this facility twice and based on the reviews would like to meet him. I don't use the vacuums or trash cans because that is available at home. The cost of renting his facility for ten minutes is a great value to me. I can't wash my engine or under carriage at home and I don't own a pressure washer. The stall I used was clean except for what the pig ahead of me left on the walls and floor. I had some time left so I cleaned up as well as I could. Thanks to the owner of this business for maintaining this facility for our use and putting up with some people that have no regard and don't clean up after themselves. I will use this facility regularly. Thanks again to the owner. read more

The owner was SO RUDE He yelled at me because didn't move my car fast enough and said I'm keeping him from making money like ? Then. I witnessed him harassing someone else about something. Good and working self car wash , but it smelled like pee everywhere because of the bums in the area. Its $2 for every 3 mins on the vacuum and wash. Has great power wash for hard to get dirt. read more

Couldn't/Didn't get the bird poo off of my convertible top. Other than that, stay nice. I mean, it's a car wash!!

Wish I would've read the Yelp reviews and not just the Google ones before visiting this place. I use self service car washes instead of automatic because I prefer to clean my car myself and feel I can get it cleaner with no leftover hidden dirty spots. I took my time, knowing it would cost me more, to thoroughly clean my car and went through each cycle (more than once). My husband cleaned his car in the bay next to me and finished in half the time. When we pulled out I laughed because I could see fingerprints on his trunk. When we got home I teased him about missing the common spots that people miss (I grew up around cars and know better). And then I saw my car and was shocked at all the dirt remaining considering the point I made to get those spots multiple times. Based on others having the same experience I'm guessing it's cheap soap, but possibly the brushes. Leaving a review on Google only gets a nasty, defensive response from the owner. I drove 15 minutes away from home to try this place because its self service. Yes it costs more than most places, but that's expected for quality self service places. The negative reviews are valid, and due to crappy equipment and a nasty owner. read more

I just put in five dollars to wash my car. A little bit of water spewed out and nothing else. I tried to use my credit card and it gave me nothing. Code V is in Victor 736??There is no phone number or any way to contact someone to advise that one of their bays are not working read more

the attendant got so mad at me because i used my dollars to get change. im so irritated because he argued with me in front of my 6 year old daughter. He told me i have to be a customer to use the coin machine, i told him i was going to vacuum my car after i got change. He threatened to turn off the vacuum machine if i used it, & continued to harass me until i got into my car and left. What kind of standards do you have arguing and causing issues in front of children, you are definitely a piece of shit and you are the face of your shitty company. i literally told the attendant i was going to use the vacuum after i got change so it doesnt matter how much change i get as long as i use services there. Plain as day. Its your job to fill the coin machine whether it gets emptied out or not. Literally theres a sign that says emptied out daily. Fire this old boomer read more

READ THE 1-STAR REVIEWS AND DECIDE FOR YOURSELF IF THIS IS THE TYPE OF BUSINESS YOU WANT TO SUPPORT! TO ALL THE 1-STAR REVIEWERS ON MILL PLAIN SELF SERVE CAR WASH, I FEEL YOUR PAIN! The owner followed me around watching my every move and inspected my truck before I ever had the chance to swipe my credit card. He dictated what I could and couldn't do at the carwash and proceeded to show me his excessive rule/s signage. When you pull into the bay/stall be sure to look around before exiting your vehicle~likely he will be near and may approach to lay down his rules before you ever get started. The owner was rude (bordering obnoxious) during my entire encounter with him and he treated me disrespectfully. I will not return to this business. NOTE: My original 1-star review of this business was deleted by Yelp, I can only assume that it was brought to their attention by the owner in an effort to have my review removed, interestingly enough the owner responded to my original review and it is my hope that Yelp reviewed that as well as it was a true reflection of this man's character. read more

I had been coming here for years, unfortunately they recently decided not to allow bucket washing anymore the owner let me know shouting at me it wasn't allowed because needed the bays available and threatened next time will refuse service. (There was one more car besides me.) I understand what he said but has no manners to talk to the customers that bring business so he can stay in the market. But glad at the same time. I went to another one across costco. No problems there the staff is super friendly and actually pleased i bring my money to someone that appreciates their customers. read more

THE OWNER OF THIS ESTABLISHMENT DESERVES ZERO STARS. I paid for the vacuum and threw away some trash in my car. The owner was lingering around and as soon as I got in my car to leave, he runs up to the trash can and looks inside and storms up to my car telling me "this is not a public dumpster" YEAH NO KIDDING? I paid for your service and used the trash can that you provide to your customers? I filled it up maybe 1/4 of the way and he looked like he was about to have a heart attack. Obviously business ownership is not his strong suit. I called the number provided but got ahold of the old owner, and I told him this new guy is a real piece of work. He AGREED!!!! He must field a lot of calls about this new guy. I am super upset because I used this car wash at least once a week for the past few years to clean my car or my boyfriends. This guy is an absolute jerk and does not deserve your business. I wonder if he yells at the homeless people who fill up his trash cans, or only the paying customers?? read more

Wow! What a gigantic jerk! That's in the kindest of terms. I used this self serve car wash for the first time. I slid my credit card which started a charging meter. Fine. Seems convenient. There are clear, easy instructions on how to stop the meter, however when I was done with my cleaning and I pressed the stop button, the meter didn't stop!!! I pressed it many times, asked a person in the bay next to me, went to the Mobil station next door to see if they might own the car wash, finally called a number associated w business and whomever answered was a complete JERK!! Read these comments with a condescending, angry, non caring tone... what do you want me to do ... there are clear instructions ... press the button ... press it several times ... press and hold it ... THERE ARE CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS ... NO, you DONT HAVE TO CHANGE THE DIAL TO STOP, read the instructions ... you can have your few BUCKS BACK ... when i asked where he was located, he said why do you want to know, I thought I had to , physically, retrieve my few bucks .. He kept repeating in an angry tone how the instructions were RIGHT THERE. I SAID I was college educated. He said, that doesn't mean anything. I said it doesn't mean anything to a lot of people, but it might imply I can read!!! I have a video of me pressing the button, and the meter continuing. read more

That's funny my 1star review was removed . The owner of this place aka stahl monitor is the owner and won't let you take your time in the car wash bay regardless of how much money you feed the machine , he comes over and changes the dial and tells you what to do..horrible place read more

When you can get your car washed cheaper and better at a full service place, what's the point in this place? I ended up putting in $6-$7 dollars just to rinse, wash and rinse (no dryers), and my car still wasn't clean. Spent extra for a vacuum that wasn't very powerful. Won't be back again. read more

I have been going there for 3 years. This morning, since it was raining, I decided to move my items from the cab to my trunk, while under the bay for shelter, before washing and vacuuming. After a couple minutes, tbe owner came up and asked what I was doing. When I explained, he said....make it quick because people use the bays for projects...I explained it would be done in 5 minutes. 2 minutes later he comes back over & says you need to move along. Wow! I told him I would be washing my car elsewhere and he said good! What a jerk! I also let him know I spend about $ 50 there a month. There weren't even any other cars there....just him and his Mercedes....what a loser! I will never go back, neither will my friends and family. I would rather drive further, than give this guy another penny! I've never written a review before, but I felt like others should know what kind of owner you are giving your money to! read more

Mill Plain Self Serve Car Wash - Car Wash Near Me - Vancouver, Washington

The one redeeming thing about this car wash is that they accept credit cards. Personally, I hate constantly worrying about running out of quarters and having to run around to feed the machine, so I do find the credit card feature much easier. Now, with that being said, I just got home to find out that I got charged $10 on my credit card! What?!?! I did see the sign that said $2.50 for 4 minutes (which in my opinion is already a rip off but that's beside the point) but if my math is correct, being charged $10 would mean that I was there for 16 minutes. Which I can assure you, I most definitely was not. And yes, I did see the button that you push to stop your timer and I did see it say thank you but there was no timer or counter going to let me know where I was at. I have used other car washes with this feature where I am from and most of them show you exactly where you are in dollar amount and this was was not very clear at all. So for that reason again, I will never return to this car wash again. Other things about the car wash that I noticed. 1. Trash all over the vacuuming bays. Very dirty and didn't seem well maintained at all. 2. It seemed to be the ghetto street racer hang out. There were guys pulling into the bays, revving their engines which ensured that you got a nice breath of exhaust while washing your car. It appeared it was their meeting area and maybe one of the four or five was actually washing their car. It seems that Vancouver is lacking on self service car washes but of the ones I have visited, I will never come back to this one. read more
