What a fantastic experience. While in the area, I figured it a great time to do my emissions test which is a totally new concept to me as a transplant. After seeing my friend and fellow Elite, Jeneen, and her great review on their Yelp page, I figured I was in good hands. I called in advance wondering if I needed an appointment, if I would be there for hours or what. I spoke to the kindest gentleman, Jon, who calmed my anxiety and answered all of my questions with total patience. He even told me it would take less than 3 minutes! (He told me the exact timed total but I forget lol) When I arrived, I was the only person who was in line for emissions and drove right up on. Another young man welcomed me along with Jon, and they informed me that the systems were down. I thought this meant that I couldn't do the test at all, but they assured me that I could, but there may be a delay in it being auto submitted to the tag office. All good for me! It's so good to know that in advance. Jon did his thing, all the steps needed to do this test and I swear, less than 3min later (I feel like it was even quicker than he quoted me) he was done!! What an amazing experience. At Wash Barn, emissions tests begin at $18 but for $2 more, you can get a car wash with the works. Sounded great to me so I quickly took that deal. Between the emissions test, chatting it up with Jon and the car wash, I was in and out in about ten minutes. Superior experience, customer service and value all in one. read more

I went to this place last year and was stoked about the car wash with the emissions. I don't know other companies doing that. This company is competitive in that regard. I'll continue supporting this business and had to leave a review so others could see it and also so I can always remember which emissions place is my favorite. $20 for emissions AND a good car wash. read more

Called ahead of time to inquire about the emission test. I was told that a would receive a car wash with my test purchase. The assistant manager was very helpful and he completed my testing in about 10 minutes. It was cloudy out so they let me get a raincheck on my car wash! Thanks Wash Barn! read more

Would be 5 stars, but location was a bit of a drive. Will add that experience was worth the drive! Arrived @ 3 to get emissions test and had a short wait before service. Technician was pleasant and professional, despite joking about charging double due to my alumni tag. We laughed about SEC rivalries. I even recommended Gumbeaux, another great spot previously reviewed ;-) For a few dollars more emissions testing can be paired with a car wash - my main incentive for picking this location. Also have access to vacuums, cleaning solution and paper towels at no additional cost. Technician used industrial brush to scrub front and rear windshields as vehicle hoisted on conveyor. If you are adverse to drive through car washes, this may not be the deal for you. My vehicle is over 10 years old and was just happy to pass emissions. Lol. The car cleaning options were just icing on the cake! Really motivated me to do some late spring cleaning and thankfully was not rushed. Many bays were available and technician checked supplies. Worth the drive and will be back. Also, fabulous Mexican restaurant, El Solecito, with $3 margarita specials (check for days/times) and great service across the street. read more

This is the worst car wash I've ever used. It's in the neighborhood so I would like to support it but I just can't. My car didn't get clean, the brushes are old/worn out, the car still had soap on it, they had to manually rinse the soap off and the vacuums are almost powerless. They need to close down, regroup and start over. Check out the car wash on South Cobb and take notes. Oh and I forgot to mention, after you've washed and dried your car there's a big mud puddle you have to drive thru and try to avoid to leave the car wash. This place is horrible! read more

I've been taking my car to Wash Barn for years. Based on some other reviews, I'm lucky I live right down the street! It's convenient. They've got a cheap, wash-n-go deal right now (no vac) but this car was also has all the bells & whistles your car could want. Management is making improvements too. There's a brand new bank of vacuums that are mighty. The older vac's work great as well. I believe the covered stalls have new lighting, bright enough you can see what you're doing any time of day, in any weather. Even if Wash Barn is a bit of a drive for you, it's worth it. read more

Being new to town, I was out seeking a quality car wash. Having lived in Northern California the past 6+ years, I'd say I've been pretty spoiled when it comes to quality car washes. I Stumbled upon this gem in my travels in & around the Vinings region. As one can gather, I took the trip to Mableton, and I must say was worth it! Staff was friendly & wash was thorough. Price is definitely right too -- nor much more than a gas station car wash. Free vacuum also up the hill when wash is done. Doesn't get much better than that car-wise. Does it live up to NorCal hand wash? Not quite... but pretty good ! read more

Spent $18 for a $3 car wash that left soap all over my car and did not even get the wheels clean. Never again.

Wish I didn't live so far away or I'd be here every week. About a month ago I came to get my car washed and Richard helped me. He was so warm and hospitable-- not something I would ever expect from a car wash. The free vacuum and surface cleaning solution available were added bonuses. Sorry for taking so long Richard but I haven't forgotten your kindness and will hopefully one day be back when I am on that side of town! read more

$3 for a basic wash Mon-Sat from 8a to 10a. Used to be all day but I guess times are tough. Sometimes vacuums aren't on and you have to chase down the attendant. An air compressor to fill your tires would make this place great. Cheapest emissions in the area too, $15. read more
