I was in and out within ten minutes. The young man who assisted me was kind and friendly. He did what was needed to do and that was that. I paid for nominal fee and no more. They also provided an extra $4 off if you checked in on Yelp, so it was extremely affordable. I went here for my annual emissions test and received incredible service. When I arrived, there was only one line open so that had me nervous. But luckily I arrived almost when the customer in front of me was done. As my emissions was getting checked, me and service rep had a great conversation. He was nice and get his work done. Very disorganized. The lady told me to get out of line to go to the other side. When I got to the other side there were more cars in my way and I asked her if I could get back in the original line so I don't have to go all the way to the back... she just ignored me. We stopped here to do our emissions test and it was pretty quick! We did not have any problems at all. We had our 2 dogs with us and it didn't bother the technician. Wow - less than 10 minutes and $25 later, I drove away with a passed emissions test. Still can't believe it! I drove up to the right side of the building and rolled my window down. The man inside let me know they'd be with me shortly. I asked if they could tell me the wifi password because I saw the guest network. Neither of the two attendants knew the password which was disappointment (ya girl is always going over her data) but since I was in and out so quickly I really can't complain. I didn't even have to get out of the car! Score! It was painless, just had to open my driver's side door so they could plug something in and a few minutes later, I was ready to go! They also asked if my windshield wipers were functioning okay, to which I said yes, but nice to know if you need to replace them they can help ya out with that. Overall, would definitely recommend this place to folks looking for a quick emissions test. read more

I took two vehicles to this location in one day (2/17/22). My first problem is that they make you stay in the car while they do the emissions even though there is a bench right in front. We are still in the middle of a pandemic yet you come very close to the customers and reach under their legs to connect the cable. I'm confused at the logic here. I am a dealer and I go to many different emissions spots and all of them ask you to exit of the car except this one. My second problem is that the lady doesn't have very good customer service but maybe it's just her personality. The connector would not connect to my second vehicle and no effort was put into making it connect, yet my obd scanner worked fine on it and the next emissions place connected immediately and I passed. I won't be returning to this location. read more

So of course i would wait to the very last minute to get an emissions test and of course i would go looking for a place on a Sunday! Nothing was opened but Dekra saved me!! I own a 2000 Sebring in showroom condition. Dekra is the only place that shows your vehicle respect. Dekra May be 5$ more, but worth the A+ service. We have not used anyone else after discovering DEKRA on Canton. read more

I was hesitant to come to this place only because where I live emissions are $14. I work in this area and today is the last day before my tag expires so I had no choice but to pay $25 ( I am a very cheap person) however it was well worth $25. Ken is a very nice and friendly gentleman. I did not have to get out of my car and he made sure I was comfortable and there was no awkwardness. Best Service Ever!!! Less than 10 mins total---from the time that I pulled up to the time that I pulled out of the lot. I went at about Noon today (Saturday). I liked the location---easy to find and very easy to get in and out of. This is my first time getting an emissions test. The customer service was thorough and he was very knowledgeable. In and out in a jiffy. Needed a emissions check for my tag renewal and came across this palce on yelp. Drove down and there was a nice queue of cars waiting to be served. It took about 15 - 20 minutes to wait in line behind about 3 cars and get my car inspected. Extremely fast and direct service. If you need an emissions check, give this place a shot. read more

Just waited for 15 minutes and my presence was not acknowledged. The man working there appeared to airing up a tire on the opposite side away from the emissions area. Finally he just walked inside after 15 minutes to just do a hand motion to say to pull around. I will take my business elsewhere. Don't usually review emissions stations, but being new to ATL from outta state I had a good experience here. Came by on Saturday & was about 3 cars deep. Mind you, this is a fairly small lot. Mr. Kenneth's emissions test service is incredibly quick and efficient - I never had to leave my car once I pulled up. The site is clean, professional and he has great evening hours. A lot of other emissions test sites I've seen look like shady, abandoned gas stations or garages. DEKRA in Smyrna is a proper establishment close off of a major road, and I felt incredibly safe going there. He is incredibly customer focused and installed my new windshield wiper blades on site at the end of my test and told me to come back if I have any problems with them. I will be coming back next year and will be recommending him to everyone in the Vinings/ Smyrna area. read more
