A Caring Vet - Gorgeous bouquet from A Caring Vet's Office after they found out that my dog, Leo had passed away.

    A Caring Vet

Left this same review on Google, but thought I should share it here too for the Yelp users…read more We had our pet bunny spayed here and were send home with some pain medication and a cone for her to wear that would prevent picking at the incision. We were told that if she was not eating normally by the morning, to bring her back in. That was the case so we returned the next morning. They gave us some critical care to force feed her and directed us to feed her 7 ml a day. Come the next morning her conditions were worsening. It was Sunday, so A Caring Vet was closed. We were forced to find an emergency vet elsewhere. After the emergency vet evaluated our bunny's current condition, we were informed that A Caring Vet had not prescribed her strong enough pain medication to ease our bunny's pain and our bunny needed to be feed closers to 80 ml of critical care a day to receive all the nutrients she needs. We were also informed that a cone should almost never be used on a bunny as it will cause stress levels to rise doing more harm than good. We were told that a bunny with the correct pain medication dosage will usually not pick at the incision. If you have a bunny, I strongly recommend you take him/her elsewhere, While A Caring Vet will attend to bunnies, they do not seem knowledgeable in the proper post operative care that a bunny requires.

Dr Hanson is the most knowledgeable, loving, patient and best veterinarian in Utah County…read more He was the third vet that I found, and kept since I found Dr. Hanson. I have referred him to many of my friends. However, to be perfectly honest, his prices are a bit high. I'm sure he has raised his prices because the cost of inflation although at times I could not bring either my cat or my dog to visit him because of the price of his office visit. I often thought it would be beneficial, if he allowed his old patients to be grandfathered in and allow them to pay what his office visit was five years ago. Nevertheless, he is the absolute best vet and all of Utah county. Sincerely Angi

Absolutely horrible experience. They go by 'Utah Doodles' now…read more We purchased a puppy from them. They were great until we bought her, quick response time. I didn't submit an application nor did they ask me anything about myself or home (red flag #1). It was clear though the person I bought her from (in her house) wasn't super knowledgeable but I think she was a helper and not the owner. I had questions after purchasing (just general questions about the health and genetics of the puppy's parents because when we weighed her when we got home and calculated her expected weight it was like half the size of what they advertised). They essentially said 'too bad, you bought her already and should have asked before hand (in regards to the genetics)'. Then accused me of wanting to use the information to breed her and said they never share that info. Then they ghosted me. I've contacted the owners Jessica and Drew and neither have responded. I told them I don't want to return her, I was just curious what we bought and wanted to confirm her parents have had health screens like they said. But now I feel slighted and lied to. Please choose another breeder, one who is not a puppy mill and only cares about themselves.

I wanted to make this review about Andrew the owner of Utah Golden Doodles to warn anyone…read moreconsidering him that this is a very unprofessional breeder. I left a deposit with him in the amount of $500. Due to unforeseen circumstances I did not want to continue with the process of getting a puppy. I told Andrew the situation and he told me my deposit was non-refundable but that I could sell my deposit. Another customer of his was willing to lose her deposit and purchase mine but he refused. He told me I could buy the puppy and sell it I told him it's cruel to re-home a puppy but he didn't care he said it was fine. When it came down to the wire he kept asking me if I will be purchasing a puppy I continuously told him yes I would be. He then tells me he's not selling me a puppy he breached his own contract and now refuses to refund me my deposit. He blocked me on social media and blocked my number to avoid dealing with the consequences of his actions. He took my deposit and took another one from a family he had lined up for my pick of the liter. I strongly urge anyone looking for a puppy to look elsewhere. He does not care for his dogs they are dollar signs to him. When his dog Indie gave birth he shows her no attention and only cares for the puppies.

5 out of 5 stars! I highly recommend Jan at Live Oak Obedience!…read moreHaving my dog Molly progress through Puppy Obedience to Advanced Off Leash Training has been a truly transformative experience for both of us. Jan is incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about your dog's success. She takes the time to explain the underlying reasons behind dog behaviors. She gives individual instruction and advice to each client and furry friend to help them with specific behaviors. Jan has taught me how to communicate effectively to Molly. Group lessons are fun, we all learn together! There is always something new and stimulating to learn at each class. Thank you Jan for helping me learn how to train and teach Molly, because of you, we have a positive, happy relationship. Live Oak Obedience is the best!

We've taken classes in Obedience, Rally, Agility, and Scent work. Both Jan and Kelsie are very knowledgeable and talented trainers who teach practical skills in how to be great leaders for our dogs in a fun environment. They are extremely patient not only with the dogs but also with owners like myself who lack the confidence to lead their pets. Milli and I have created a wonderful relationship and are confident and well-mannered in so many situations.Thank you, Live Oak, for a fun year, and we look forward to many more!
