Gorgeous bouquet from A Caring Vet's Office after they found out that my dog, Leo had passed away.

I think Dr Hansen is a very caring vet! He knows what he is doing my dogs loved him! I think he is a very sought after vet which makes him a very busy veterinary. His office, A Caring Vet knows I like Dr Hansen so they always scheduled me on his days of work there. He does have another office in Orem. The other veterinarians are nice and I assume very good I have just always trusted Dr Hansen. His staff at A Caring Vet could not be nicer! They work with you for scheduling appointments to refilling prescriptions to make it as convenient as possible for you. What's also very smart of A Caring Vet is they are open on Saturdays! If you asked them they would not say it's "smart" but they would sincerely say they are open on Saturdays to help their patients and clients! Recently my beautiful English Springer Spaniel passed away at age 12. A Caring Vet sent me the most beautiful bouquet of flowers and a card that everyone signed. It was so unexpected and touching. I greatly appreciate and am so thankful to this office in their kindnesses thought-out the years and for their continued Caring!

Please update your hours so people don't show up on Sunday thinking you are open when you actually are not

Please update your hours as you are not open on Sunday. Not fun showing up on a Sunday to see that the business of actually closed

I have been to A Caring Vet more times than I can count (having 3 cats and a dog) and I have always found them to be eager to help and very thorough. They've answered my many questions, listened to me gushing about my animals and how cute they are, and they always show genuine concern. My dog had surgery to have some lumps removed and they took such good care of her and gave me the tip to use an old tshirt to keep her from licking her stitches, not a cone. Saved my life! Her scar is almost invisible now. My cats don't like the visit so much but they are always very careful and you can tell they are cat people because they are so good to them. I would trust them with my animals and after reading the other reviews am kind of perplexed about how someone could have a bad experience there. 4 stars because sometimes the wait can be long, but I wouldn't trade them!

    Expired licensure.

Was grateful they were able to get my sick pup in on a Saturday for a first time visit. Were there 3 hours for a visit that definitely didn't need to take that long. Just very slow processes on simple things. Had to call back 4 days later to get another med. they took ALL day to call back. I could've gotten my dog those meds that day. But she had to wait til next day. In PAIN. Now 9 days later we try and get her back in because she's still having issues and they say, we're not taking new patients. Ok... but you did? Sooo umm what? We are new to the area but we won't be new to this vet. Unrelated to the service... Snapped some pics of expired licenses while in there too.

Absolutely love this vet clinic! Discovered A Caring Vet a few years back when our family dog needed attention and have been coming back ever since. Recently had to put our dog to sleep. The staff were compassionate and sympathetic. They made a difficult situation comforting, even sent a follow up sympathy card. Today's trip was for a follow up visit for daughter's pet guinea pig. Service was prompt and care given, excellent once again. Highly recommend A Caring Vet. They live up to their name!

Hansen really used a caring hand with both of my dogs and cat and has helped them work past their fear issues.

Before we found our new family member at Goldendoodles Utah, I did a lot of research on the breed…read moreand then on the breeders. I was quite impressed with the testimonials given about Goldendoodles Utah that I found on the internet. Now I see why I saw so many positive remarks. First, let me say that their professional kennel is quite impressive. The whole family seems to pitch in. (Although mom is the professional Breeder) the facility was immaculate on a huge "doggy farm". You know, like the one you always heard about as a kid, upstate where your beloved pet went to go frolic with other dogs in a wide open doggy paradise....haha. But this one is actually real. They have all their Dams onsite and some if not all the Sires. It's anything but a puppy mill. This is a pro Breeder who is selective in who she sells to. You have to sign a contract, and in that contract you have to promise to never give your dog to a shelter for any reason, but to take them back to GU to be "rehomed". These dogs are the top of the top as far as health, intelligence, physicality and of course care. They see the vet more times before you take them home than most humans see the doctor in 10 years. They get shots, exams, dew claw removal hip assessment, you name it. This dedication to excellence has made her lines absolutely phenomenal. My puppy is incredibly smart. And of course gorgeous! They have you leave them something you have worn with your scent on it at selection day 2 weeks before you pick them up. So they are familiar with you before you get them. The Breeder who has interviewed you to find out what type of dog you are looking for as well as what your lifestyle is, introduces you to pups she thinks would be a great match. She knows their personalities as she socializes them closely before you get there. That requires her to know her pups. Of course you can choose whatever available pup you want to, but the Breeder gives a great recommendation. For us, it was perfection! That is why I am writing this review. I couldn't be more grateful. From the beginning of the process until you are driving home with your new family member, the process at Goldendoodles Utah is about the best one you could hope for. They even send you home with a blanket that mom and sibs slept on so they feel comfortable for the first few nights. It makes a difference. A big one. If you are looking for the best Goldendoodles in Salt Lake City, or even if you are out of state, I couldn't say enough good things about this Goldendoodle family. As you can tell, I tried! Haha

Negligent and cheap staff. They don't care about or watch your dog. Go to Wasatch Canine Camp. I regularly travel and leave my dog at kennels. Never once has she come back with an injury and the kennels (including On the Spot) have always commented that she behaved wonderfully. However, this summer I picked up my dog on a Monday morning after a weekend trip and she was given back to me with the 8-stitches-wound that I've included. I noticed the wound within 20 seconds of leaving the building with my dog and immediately went back in for answers. The manager onsite said there was a scuffle that my dog started and that another dog had done it-- this under their "supervision" and after they handed me a report declaring with their signatures that my dog had behaved perfectly during her stay. I took my dog to the vet and had the wound taken care of by professionals. That was ~$800. On the Spot did not care to chip in for the medical expenses and coldly pointed to their liabilities waivers that covered them. Accidents happen, but this is poor business management and shows a disturbing lack of accountability. Know that for the price of a cheap kennel stay, you are risking your pet's safety under negligent staff and they won't give a damn to make things right after the fact.
