TOTAL SCAM, THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY AND STOP COMMUNICATING WITH YOU. I'd like to preface with…read morethe owner offered to take him longer, but after what we have experienced we do not trust them with our dog and have found a new trainer. We gave them a VERY difficult dog. We told them all of his behavioral issues and they guaranteed that he would be "off leash reliable" and they say their guarantee is "as long as it takes" and that all of the behaviors we gave were something they could handle (ie. jumps on people and kids, doesn't listen at all, counter surfs, escapes everything, chews everything etc). He is not only NOT off leash reliable, he has to be on a head collar, and e-collar and eventually a slip leash and e-collar as advised by the owner. How is that "off leash reliable"?beats me! They literally taught him sit, down, stay, heel, and place in a tiny quiet room everyday. No high distractions, no dog parks, nothing we were told upon leaving him there for 6 weeks. We were surprised he was coming home so quickly with all the bad behaviors we gave. And we were right to be worried. They gave us a 90 day go home plan that basically felt like they were telling us to train him. The schedule is INSANE and we both have FULL TIME jobs. The schedule also calls for him to be in the crate 2-4 hours after each 15-30 minute training I do. We talked to other trainers this week about what we've received from Wasatch Canine Camp and all other trainers take the dogs to HIGH distraction environments like dog parks, community parks, etc. they also all said "it sounds like they just want you to train him"...I get that he needs to learn to listen to us as well but after 6 weeks with them he won't even listen to us INSIDE of our house (he's been home almost two weeks now And I'm extremely strict with the schedule they gave). On "go home" day the trainer told us he was exhausted from playing and when our dog made multiple mistakes he kept blaming it on how tired our dog was. We picked him up at noon so We weren't sure why he was so worn out by them. We definitely figured out why they did that the next day! When I told the owner this she called me a liar saying he wasn't playing that day and she checked her security footage. I literally have videos (because I taped the entire go home session) of the trainer telling us he just got him from playing and videos of the trainer telling us "he's making more mistakes right now because he's so tired". She tried to tell me he was tired from his bath and seeing us lol. I would absolutely not recommend this company and we are currently filing in small claims court to get our money back. For $3,000 we got our dog back barely knowing any commands and sure as hell wont listen to any of them. He jumped on two people the second day we had him home. It's very weird to me that they had him for 42 days but WE supposedly have to train him for 90 days.... and even after 90 days we were told not to take him to high distraction environments like dog parks lol. Unbelievably disappointed. DO NOT use this company. We just want our money back and they just keep saying they'll take him longer and send someone to do a session at our house. I have told them multiple times that I found a different trainer I trust but they have chosen to steal outlet money and how we have to go to court.

She refunded most of my money, but what I was really looking for was help with my dog's protectiveness in the house. She recommended a different trainer, but that one was even more expensive and I could not afford it. I would recommend WCC to most people, still. I just had a bad experience worth sharing.

This program was a complete waste of time and money. I truly regret signing up. If you're…read moreconsidering it, save yourself the trouble--it's not worth it. The communication was poor; they only seemed interested in reaching out when payment was due. The owner came across as overly cheerful and unprofessional rather than acting like a serious dog trainer. There was one trainer who seemed experienced and disciplined, but you don't get to choose who you work with. Instead, we were assigned someone who had to drive two hours to reach us, even though we were told there were trainers nearby. None of this was explained beforehand. The sessions were all more than an hour away, and we were never informed about that either. The company should have been upfront about their limited resources and suggested finding a trainer closer to home. It felt dishonest and disorganized. After spending nearly $3,000, my dog still struggles with basic potty training and only listens when wearing the e-collar. Everything they taught could have been learned for free on YouTube. I would like at least half my money back because this experience was truly disappointing.

We've had a great experience and seen major changes in the behavior of both our dogs. We highly recommend Dog Training Elite. They were always on time, professional, and eager to answer any questions! We work at least 15 minutes a day with our dogs on their training. Some weeks are better than others, but it's surprising how fast they picked everything up! The only issue that we've run into is that the dog collars are very inconsistent when it comes to having a thick coat like our malamutes have. We switched to longer prongs and have ordered some winged tipped prongs to see if it can make better contact with their skin. A lot of the frustration we had with our dogs behavior has completely disappeared. We can't wait to continue working with them at group classes.

He pulled so hard that one time he pulled me down, and I broke my elbow. Not good! Other than those issues, he's a great dog! Just needed some behavioral help. Champie had 2 prior trainers before Evan came into our home and our lives. Evan worked magic with Champie and with me! He was firm, yet friendly. Champie is no longer the alpha in the house and quickly learned he was no longer in charge! Champie is now tolerant of new people coming to our house, and almost friendly. He is no longer aggressive when another dog walks by, and taking him for a walk is actually fun -- no more pulling. I never imagined he'd be able to accomplish not pulling on a leash, but Evan was very patient with him and me! I would highly recommend Evan for all your dog training needs -- He's the BEST!
