He flew in-cabin from Utah to our local airport in California with a flight nanny who made sure that he was happy, knew that he was safe and remained comfortable throughout his travels. From the moment she unzipped his carrier bag and we scooped him into our arms, we knew that he was the perfect missing puzzle piece to our family. Our love for our sweet Miso began months and months before we met him when we were introduced to Candace from Artisan Doodles, Utah, online. When we were looking for the perfect breeder, it was important to us that our puppy's health and well-being were of utmost priority. Unlike other breeders who could not tell us whether the parent dogs passed health screenings, Artisan Doodle dogs all came health screened and guaranteed. We were also dedicated to picking a breeder who socialized puppies from a young age to ensure perfect temperaments and happy dogs. We were beyond blessed when Jenn (who we lovingly refer to as Momma Jenn) was the puppy raiser for Miso's litter. We never missed a single day of his little life as she posted detailed pictures and videos of all the puppies from the day that they were born until they went to their forever homes. Although so early on we were not sure which puppy we were going to have the opportunity to choose by the time our puppy pick came, our family quickly fell in love with all of them (and started choosing favorites based on personality). It was so much fun to text each other "Puppy Alert!" whenever Jenn would post her daily pictures and videos. It was so apparent, even from the beginning, how much Jenn and her family loved each and every little pup. She would sit on the floor with them and they would all run to greet her, they ventured off to play but would look back at her to feel secure, and just a simple little whistle would always grab their attention. Jenn did a fantastic job socializing them with children of all ages and to the sights, sounds and smells that they would need to get used to in order to be confident in their new homes, such as exposing them to the vacuum, baby toys and the backyard. As the time grew near to pick our puppy, we could have easily done so from Jenn's careful video/photo documentation, however, we were fortunate that Jenn and Candance invited us to meet the puppies in person and to pick based upon personality and our interactions with them. Although we lived in a different state, we jumped at the opportunity to see these puppies, all of whom we were a little bit in love with, in person. Of course we had a few favorites, but we were in for a complete shock when the puppy that we were the most in love with from the pictures and videos was available. His sweet, friendly little personality was even more adorable in person than we could have imagined. After conducting a few of our own little personality measures on him, we decided that he was PERFECT for our family. We would wait two more weeks (which seemed like forever) before a professional flight nanny would fly him home to us. Our Miso is the sweetest, happiest, healthiest dog we have ever known. He loves to give hugs and kisses, to play in his ball pit, to fetch his toys and to go on walks. One of his favorite things to do is to meet new people. He always gets stopped by people on our walks who want to pet him and to know more about him. Our vet is impressed by his sweet, tolerant temperament and his good health. Miso has already brought smiles to residents of a residential treatment facility, young children who have stopped to play with him, and many people who follow him on his Instagram page, @alwayslovemiso. All in all, when we decide to add another pup to our family, we wouldn't hesitate to choose another Artisan Doodle. The amount of love that Miso was given from the day that he was born is evident in his happy, lovable and sweet natured-temperament, today. We are so thankful that Candance and Momma Jenn are still in our lives, liking and following Miso's pictures on social media and commenting on how much he is growing. We were also thrilled to hear that Jenn's amazing daughter sometimes serves as a flight nanny, now. A sweeter and more wonderful person could not be found to deliver these pups to their forever homes! I had the worst experience ever with this breeder. I…read morerecently lost a puppy due to parvo, and Joan was incredible rude and judgemental to me. After accepting my deposit for another puppy, she stopped answering my emails, kept pushing back the breeding dates, without letting me know, and suddenly decided she didn't want to be my breeder because "I'm from Mexico", and according to her "it was too much of a hassle" getting a puppy to me even though I was picking up the dog myself. Then she said she didn't want to sell me a puppy because I've had parvo in my home as if it were my fault. We had an agreement that the puppy was going to live in my parents home for two months until the vaccines were completed just to be safe. My 2 year old son cries every day because of our previous puppy, and was excited that we were going to have a brother or sister of his puppy. I've never felt so discriminated because of my country of residence and nationality. And also, being judgemental about our puppy having parvo, and indirectly blaming us. Parvo, unfortunately, can be anywhere!! (he was up to date with his vaccines, trained and had weekly baths)

I was quite impressed with the testimonials given about Goldendoodles Utah that I found on the internet. Now I see why I saw so many positive remarks. First, let me say that their professional kennel is quite impressive. The whole family seems to pitch in. (Although mom is the professional Breeder) the facility was immaculate on a huge "doggy farm". You know, like the one you always heard about as a kid, upstate where your beloved pet went to go frolic with other dogs in a wide open doggy paradise....haha. But this one is actually real. They have all their Dams onsite and some if not all the Sires. It's anything but a puppy mill. This is a pro Breeder who is selective in who she sells to. You have to sign a contract, and in that contract you have to promise to never give your dog to a shelter for any reason, but to take them back to GU to be "rehomed". These dogs are the top of the top as far as health, intelligence, physicality and of course care. They see the vet more times before you take them home than most humans see the doctor in 10 years. They get shots, exams, dew claw removal hip assessment, you name it. This dedication to excellence has made her lines absolutely phenomenal. My puppy is incredibly smart. And of course gorgeous! They have you leave them something you have worn with your scent on it at selection day 2 weeks before you pick them up. So they are familiar with you before you get them. The Breeder who has interviewed you to find out what type of dog you are looking for as well as what your lifestyle is, introduces you to pups she thinks would be a great match. She knows their personalities as she socializes them closely before you get there. That requires her to know her pups. Of course you can choose whatever available pup you want to, but the Breeder gives a great recommendation. For us, it was perfection! That is why I am writing this review. I couldn't be more grateful. From the beginning of the process until you are driving home with your new family member, the process at Goldendoodles Utah is about the best one you could hope for. They even send you home with a blanket that mom and sibs slept on so they feel comfortable for the first few nights. It makes a difference. A big one. If you are looking for the best Goldendoodles in Salt Lake City, or even if you are out of state, I couldn't say enough good things about this Goldendoodle family. As you can tell, I tried! Haha
