I love the tofu soba salad. It's vegetarian, contains tofu, edamame, soba noodles and wakame and is all-round tasty and full of (hopefully) healthy goodness. The only downside of the dish is that it's a cold one, so, while appealing after a heavy weekend (such as the long late May bank holiday), it's not great for cold rainy days like today.
On those occasions, fortunately, Wasabi also offers up hot bento dishes, like yakisoba, jahang, curry accessorised with chicken, tofu or salmon, all for a decent price of £5.45.
Despite the fact the queues can sometimes look long, the service is fast and efficient, so you never wait too long (unless you count the reheating time of 2 minutes).
All in all, my preferred option over EAT and Pret. But then again, I may be a tad biased. After all, I'm Oriental and I've spent the vast majority of my lunches eating sandwiches! read more
