Wife is gone for the week so I'm stuck trying new places by myself. This review is based SOLELY off of TAKEOUT: I came in to order around 5:30-6:00 pm and the girl at the front was on her cell phone and acted like I disturbed her by asking to order to go. I order the Chicken Hibachi with extra fried rice. None of the staff cared to smile or talk to me when I would nod or say hello. My food was eventually brought out, I said thank you, got in my car, and took it home. Upon opening the bag at home I noticed how small the clear soup was. A children's Capri Sun has more inside of it than the soup container does. (In the picture you can see the soup container is almost the width of my thumb.) The soup was overly salty but was still good. The salad came with a cup of dressing but didn't taste like anything other than a vinegar base? On to the main event... The chicken was not sauced or anything. It had been cooked, then over cooked, and put in my to go box. No teriyaki sauce on it or anything... "What kind of shit is that?" (Smokey from Friday) The fried rice was alright; very plain. The vegetables were honestly the best thing and that's pretty bad coming from a person who would rather sit down and eat a live cow than eat cooked veggies. Hidden underneath the veggies were overly soft lo-mein noodles; they had a good flavor since they were under the veggies despite being mushy. As for the hibachi take out from this place, they really gave me a bad first impression. I'd like to try the sushi to have my mind changed miraculously, but I think I'll just keep trying other places.. Perhaps the Baskin Robbins next door to it! read more

We love the Pensacola roll! Always good fast service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.......................,,,,

Not a good sushi restaurant, not many in the area though. Place is just not very clean they have been hit for health code violations. Go to pensacola for sushi it will be worth the drive. read more

Went during the week and picked 3 rolls from lunch menu. All were delicious. The waitress was very attentive. We shared an order of Thai spring rolls that came out hot and crispy. read more

The sushi here is great the service is not. We ordered appetizers and saki and the waitress came with one appetizer and no saki and when we asked again about it she looked like she had never seen us before and said i will get you a menu...for saki. We had three different people come to our table and then made us felt like we were being rushed to get done and get us out of there. Its like they didn't want us to enjoy our meal and take our time to enjoy our night out. Food is great but they need to work on the service. read more

I picked up a menu so I could order over the phone and pick it up. I picked something out and called but I ordered something and the woman was confusing me and being kind of rude so I was asking questions. As I kept asking questions she started to get more rude each time and ended up yelling at me. I said never mind and hung up. That's not how you speak to customer especially when they are just simply asking you questions. Will not call again. read more

This place has wonderful sushi and excellent prices. The kids can't get enough of the hibachi chicken dinner. It's all they ever talk about. It appears to be family owned and operated and they are extremely friendly. I've eaten here multiple times and have never had a bad experience. read more

Wasabi House - Japanese Near Me - Pace, Florida

Very average service, but the food is pretty good - but when you consider available options in the area regarding this type of cuisine, it becomes great food. To their credit, the food is always fresh. I recommend getting something for take out - or delivery (not sure of delivery range, but I know there is a $25 minimum). read more

My roll looked great but sushi you shouldn't be able to smell an overwhelming fish smell just sitting back over your roll, it worries me and don't expect customer service because they barely understand you anyways and if you are a woman by yourself without a man present forget it the waitresses really don't respect you and will hope to for a guy. read more

Good food, but annoyed that I was charged 50¢ for EACH container of Yum Yum sauce, for my family and I to eat with our hibachi meals. This was my first visit and was a bit appalled! Certainly, I wasn't told about the charges when I requested for the Yum Yum sauce. That's like being charged ketchup packets to each with French fries, or soy sauce to use with my sushi... Next time, I'll just get takeout and I'll make sure to have a bottle of my own Yum Yum sauce at home. Perhaps this business should provide (1) container of Yum Yum sauce per person, then charge for any additional containers. Needless to say, I wasn't very happy, considering another hibachi grill in the area doesn't charge for their Yum Yum sauce. read more

Sushi was very yummy. They have a variety of choices for sushi, and other meals as well. Definitely a good find!

We just got the absolute WORST service from Wasabi house!! We were regular customers and loved the food and quality but not after tonight! It took 2 hours for them to delivery our food when they told us it would only take 45 minutes..we called twice asking where our food was then called a 3rd time to tell them we weren't paying for our food..the delivery guy shows up to drop off our food two hours later and we tell him we aren't paying, so he gives us the food and leaves...we start eating it and 5 minutes later he shows back up asking for the food back!! We gave it to him then called the restuarant to talk to the owner...the owner didn't want to talk to us!! They told us they didn't care that they gave us crappy service and that we could give them terrible reviews and they wouldn't care! I'm never one to complain about stuff but this was a whole new level! Just wanted to give a heads up to everyone! read more

Terrible customer services. Forgets part of delivery order and was rude with no option to fix issue. Food isn't that great to deal with the below average service. read more

My family eats here at least twice a week. We absolutely love it. Sushi is good and so is hibachi. Prices are reasonable. Our favorite sushi roll is the rock n roll and house roll. Not a big fan of the noodles with the hibachi so we ask for double rice. Lunch prices are good as well. read more

Don't let the strip mall location fool you! This is high quality! Sushi and Thai food were outstanding!

We ate here Friday night and were pleasantly surprised. The sushi was very good (we had both nigiri and roll sushi), and loved the agadashi tofu. The steamed dumplings were good as well. The only negative were the shumai...tasted metallic and are not recommended. Having lived in Japan, I usually am leery of ordering sushi, but I'll go back! read more

Love this place. I can't believe that I found somewhere that delivers sushi to Milton, FL. Get the salmon nigiri and steamed shrimp dumplings. Holy cow- so good. The spicy tuna is good too but really spicy just FYI. read more

Overall good experience. Restaurant was clean and quiet with Japanese decor. It was certainly nicer than I expected from driving by. Staff was friendly and we were greeted at door and quickly seated. Honey salad was delicious and a very pleasant surprise before our sushi came out. Sushi was good and fresh. My only complaint would be that our cooked rolls were overlooked and chewy. Other rolls were fine. Good presentation. Not my favorite but certainly good enough to come back. read more

Wow, comparable to New York sushi to my surprise. I've been in milton for a week now and have eaten here 4 times already. There are so many special rolls to choose from. They're all fantastic. The fish is super fresh. I thought I'd have to go to Pensacola to get sushi this good. The tuna tataki is amazing! The only thing I wasn't impressed with was the ginger dressing, but my boyfriend liked it, so I'm sure it just depends on your taste. read more

Love!! We eat here once a week & are happy every time. Really good, clean food. Small but quaint restaurant. Family owned. Very nice people. Reasonable prices. Try it! read more

The service is always great, and food comes out quick. Best tasting Asian Fusion food around- I eat here any chance I can get!

Food was decent, not worth $90 for two adults and a child. One got the habachi and other from the menu. $10 for a kids meal, which was the best tasting. Miso soup is nasty! Service was horrible. We came in on a Saturday night but our server had too many people. They messed up one of our orders and had to wait 30 minutes for them to correct it. read more

Really heartbroken and disappointed to be leaving a review this low after being a customer of Wasabi house for YEARS and experiencing excellent service and wonderful sushi until around a year ago. The sushi I will maintain is still wonderful and affordable but the service has become awful. I have tried to justify it with a "it's a language barrier" or "it's a cultural thing" for too long. During my last visit the waitresses were incredibly disinterested and even downright rude a few times. I felt unwelcome the whole time, as if I was somehow inconveniencing them every time I ordered a drink or asked for something, as they sighed and rolled their eyes and irritatedly said "what?" when I spoke to them. Even the manager who I have always liked was rude to me on this past visit, I had a coupon for 12 off of 30 for dinner and have used it for sushi many years past and I showed it to the waitress at the beginning of my order and she said "ok do it when you pay" (another short and rude response) but the manager explained to me that I couldn't use it on my meal for sushi in spite of it not saying that anywhere on the coupon or the waitress mentioning that at all when I ordered. I told her this and she said "Whatever, I'm not going to argue with you" snatched my $50 out of my hand, gave me my change, and got up and left the front desk. This is the first time I have left anything less than a 20% tip at this restaurant. My experience was so awful that I'm not sure I will be returning to this place that I have frequented for so long. tldr: Service and sushi used to be good, now service is terrible but sushi is still great. Only come here if you are the type of person to not be bothered by waitstaff being rude to you. read more

Service took 30 minutes and there is not enough workers to meet the demand. Service was not very good only checked on us once and we were one of the 5 people in the restaurant. read more

Ordered the pad Thai from here and I don't think the person who cooked this has ever tasted pad Thai in their life. It was so disgusting. It had a mint flavor to it. Extremely disappointed. Will never eat here again. read more

I had my food delivered. The food wasn't as warm as it should've been for a delivery. I had ordered the New York roll..which was great!..the red curry..which is ok. I asked for it to be spicy and it wasn't..crab Rangoon.. was ok..the tempura tofu was really good too.. This place isn't bad..I've just had better. read more

Great sushi!! Fast chefs!! Comparably priced. Chef gave me a small crunchy spicy salad type dish to eat while I waited. Quite good! Really no wait at all. I'll be back!! read more

Love this place. My husband and I always get chicken teriyaki, soup, salad and fried rice with yum yum sauce.its pricey but good food

Have eaten here 4 times now with good results each time. The entrees have been freshly prepared, with attention to detail and excellent presentation of the finished product. Service was friendly, prompt and attentive. Highly recommend General Tso's Chicken, Chicken Katsu, and Gyoza for an apoetizer. read more

Very nice place. Friendly servers, sushi Chefs. Everything we ordered came to us expertly prepared and presented in an appetizing manner. The fish was fresh and tasty. The rice is the best around. Sticky but not overly seasoned or sweet. They offer some Thai and Chinese dishes. My favorite cuisine is Thai. I'll be ordering Thai on my next visit. read more

LOVE this place! Sushi is amazing and so is the hibachi! AND they deliver! WHAT! And even better? The price is right!

Had sushi here yesterday while out shopping with my daughter and son in law. We all had sushi and is was so good. Their cowboy roll was very good and probably my favorite. Although, there was a local chef favorite that was great as well. Nice place! read more

Food was amazing. Great presentation and management and service. The soup was warm and tasty.

The menu was not very appealing, having very little information and showing many signs of after-printing edits, as quantities offered per order were lowered and all mentions of "crab" were replaced with "krab"; the "k" written over the "c" in every mention in pen. The sushi offerings, which were my main interest, were pretty standard, if not as full as other sushi restaurants in the area. Uni, for instance, was not on the menu at all. I ordered the Sushi Dinner which consisted of a California roll(6 pieces) and 8 assorted of the chef's choice of sashimi., for $13. The fish tasted good, and aside from the "krab", fresh. The rice was fantastic, on par with the best I've had in the area. Compared to other sushi restaurants in the area, Wasabi House may not be the best offering, but it is a great value. read more

We eat here all the time! Great for Sushi and soup. The family that owns Wasabi is very nice! Good place to eat if you don't want to drive over to Pensacola. read more

A huge group of us decided to try the Wasabi House for dinner. I will preface this review by saying that I love sushi. In my hometown, all sushi places were All You Can Eat. The Wasabi House was my first time trying a restaurant that was not AYCE. It definitely makes the experience more expensive, which is a downside. It seems in this part of the country, AYCE is not very common. Back to the review: I loved the Wasabi House. All six of us did. The service was wonderful. The staff was warm and friendly. The food was excellent. I have not had sushi this good in a long time. They had a wide variety of rolls and menu items. While I cannot attest to the price, I did not think it was overly expensive. I will definitely be going back. All six of us decided that this will be a regular group date night spot. read more

I went to eat with my friend last night and the service was horrible. Waitress was very rude and came to check on us maybe once. And to top it off I got food poisoning that night! I was sick all night and it was awful. I called next day to tell what happened and ask for a refund. The manager yelled at me and told me to not eat their food and to not report this because it will only make them look bad. She was rude and did not refund me and called me stupid. Don't recommend!!!! If I could give 0 stars i would. read more

The food is always great here. Whether you're in the mood for soup, sushi, or plain old Chinese fare, this place has it all. Servers are friendly, and it's great for carry out or dine in. It almost makes me sad I've moved. I will definitely be coming back next time I'm in town! read more

Love this place! The chicken teriyaki is amazing with fried rice. I love the yum yum sauce they used to give it to you FREE now they charge .50 which is so dumb!!!! read more

It had been a while since my wife and I had gone to a sushi restuarant. Our waitress did a great job recommending sushi rolls to to try, because now we are hooked. The restaurant is clean, and the staff are very pleasant. Definitely going back. read more
