We ordered appetizers and saki and the waitress came with one appetizer and no saki and when we asked again about it she looked like she had never seen us before and said i will get you a menu...for saki. I picked something out and called but I ordered something and the woman was confusing me and being kind of rude so I was asking questions. As I kept asking questions she started to get more rude each time and ended up yelling at me. I said never mind and hung up. Good food, but annoyed that I was charged 50¢ for EACH container of Yum Yum sauce, for my family and I to eat with our hibachi meals. This was my first visit and was a bit appalled! Certainly, I wasn't told about the charges when I requested for the Yum Yum sauce. That's like being charged ketchup packets to each with French fries, or soy sauce to use with my sushi... Next time, I'll just get takeout and I'll make sure to have a bottle of my own Yum Yum sauce at home. Perhaps this business should provide (1) container of Yum Yum sauce per person, then charge for any additional containers. We just got the absolute WORST service from Wasabi house!! We were regular customers and loved the food and quality but not after tonight! It took 2 hours for them to delivery our food when they told us it would only take 45 minutes..we called twice asking where our food was then called a 3rd time to tell them we weren't paying for our food..the delivery guy shows up to drop off our food two hours later and we tell him we aren't paying, so he gives us the food and leaves...we start eating it and 5 minutes later he shows back up asking for the food back!! We gave it to him then called the restuarant to talk to the owner...the owner didn't want to talk to us!! They told us they didn't care that they gave us crappy service and that we could give them terrible reviews and they wouldn't care! Overall good experience. Restaurant was clean and quiet with Japanese decor. It was certainly nicer than I expected from driving by. Staff was friendly and we were greeted at door and quickly seated. Wow, comparable to New York sushi to my surprise. I've been in milton for a week now and have eaten here 4 times already. There are so many special rolls to choose from. They're all fantastic. The fish is super fresh. I thought I'd have to go to Pensacola to get sushi this good. The tuna tataki is amazing! Really heartbroken and disappointed to be leaving a review this low after being a customer of Wasabi house for YEARS and experiencing excellent service and wonderful sushi until around a year ago. The sushi I will maintain is still wonderful and affordable but the service has become awful. I have tried to justify it with a "it's a language barrier" or "it's a cultural thing" for too long. During my last visit the waitresses were incredibly disinterested and even downright rude a few times. I felt unwelcome the whole time, as if I was somehow inconveniencing them every time I ordered a drink or asked for something, as they sighed and rolled their eyes and irritatedly said "what?" when I spoke to them. Even the manager who I have always liked was rude to me on this past visit, I had a coupon for 12 off of 30 for dinner and have used it for sushi many years past and I showed it to the waitress at the beginning of my order and she said "ok do it when you pay" (another short and rude response) but the manager explained to me that I couldn't use it on my meal for sushi in spite of it not saying that anywhere on the coupon or the waitress mentioning that at all when I ordered. I told her this and she said "Whatever, I'm not going to argue with you" snatched my $50 out of my hand, gave me my change, and got up and left the front desk. This is the first time I have left anything less than a 20% tip at this restaurant. My experience was so awful that I'm not sure I will be returning to this place that I have frequented for so long. tldr: Service and sushi used to be good, now service is terrible but sushi is still great. Only come here if you are the type of person to not be bothered by waitstaff being rude to you. read more

The menu was not very appealing, having very little information and showing many signs of after-printing edits, as quantities offered per order were lowered and all mentions of "crab" were replaced with "krab"; the "k" written over the "c" in every mention in pen. The sushi offerings, which were my main interest, were pretty standard, if not as full as other sushi restaurants in the area. Uni, for instance, was not on the menu at all. I ordered the Sushi Dinner which consisted of a California roll(6 pieces) and 8 assorted of the chef's choice of sashimi., for $13. The fish tasted good, and aside from the "krab", fresh. The rice was fantastic, on par with the best I've had in the area. Compared to other sushi restaurants in the area, Wasabi House may not be the best offering, but it is a great value. read more

A huge group of us decided to try the Wasabi House for dinner. I will preface this review by saying that I love sushi. In my hometown, all sushi places were All You Can Eat. The Wasabi House was my first time trying a restaurant that was not AYCE. It definitely makes the experience more expensive, which is a downside. It seems in this part of the country, AYCE is not very common. Back to the review: I loved the Wasabi House. All six of us did. The service was wonderful. The staff was warm and friendly. The food was excellent. I have not had sushi this good in a long time. They had a wide variety of rolls and menu items. While I cannot attest to the price, I did not think it was overly expensive. I will definitely be going back. All six of us decided that this will be a regular group date night spot. read more
