Very impressed with Warwick Tree Service. Not only did they cut down our trees quickly and efficiently, they came back to our house months later to fix our lawn where the logs had made large imprints. They took the trees down in the winter and assured us they would come back in the spring to fix any damage the logs had done to our lawn. We are so appreciative that they kept their word by smoothing out our yard and putting down extra dirt where needed. We would definitely use them again, thanks so much for the great service! read more

I needed a large split maple in my backyard removed because it was in danger of falling. I called these guys because I was told they were the best priced. It took almost a month from the estimated date and multiple phone calls for them to finally come over and cut down my tree. After they were done they left the majority of the 150+ foot tree in my back yard. Apparently they have a different idea of what tree "removal" is. After almost 5 months, and arguing with them over the phone, they finally sent someone over to pick up all the wood. I'll go back to Northeastern next time, who at least removes the wood the same day they cut the tree down. You pay for what you get with these guys. read more

Hmmm, where to start. I called for an estimate but, they wouldn't be able to do a quote for a few weeks. That put it right at the tail end of my vacation so, I cut vacation short to come home and meet the guy. He gave me very good price. That was Friday. The next Monday they called to schedule the trees to be cut on Wednesday. Fantastic !!! I took the day off from work. I spent the night before moving everything that might be in their way. Furniture, a pile of mulch, cars, a camper, etc. That morning, nobody shows up. I called, left a message... no call back. Called again, left a message, no call back. I googled a different phone number for them and somebody answered. She said they were at another job and would be over when they were done with that job. They showed up about 2:00pm with all their equipment. The guys were having a discussion about something. After about 45 minutes, they told me they couldn't do the job because they couldn't setup the crane and other equipment the way the person that gave me the estimate wanted it. They would have to send in a crew to take the trees down manually. I asked "Would that be later today"? "No, I'd have to reschedule". They rescheduled for the following Tuesday. When rescheduling, the women said that they had to cancel the job because it was getting late and the crane operator had a long drive to go pick up his kids. I sympathize. It's not always easy to balance work and family however, if he knew he had to pick up his kids, perhaps he could have taken the day off. I took the day off so they could cut down the trees. They rescheduled for the following Tuesday. They showed up bright and early with the crane. They started right in at taking down the trees. I was in the basement. At about 1:00 I came upstairs and noticed it was quiet. THEY ALL LEFT !!! All the equipment was gone with downed trees all over the lawn as well as the lawn being pretty much destroyed. Maybe they were going to lunch? Maybe they had to go dump the wood chippings? I didn't know if they were coming back. I didn't know if it was ok to move stuff back into the driveway. I called and left a message. They called back and said that a logging truck my be there tomorrow if it doesn't rain. Well .... I can't take a THIRD day out of work for this !!! While I'm happy with the trees they took down, I'm not happy with their lack of planning and communication. It would have been nice if they had told me that, they weren't going to be able to make the first appointment, that they were going to destroy the lawn, that they were just going to leave without saying anything. I could have worked a half day if they had told me they were leaving and not coming back !!! I'm needlessly out 12 hours pay. read more

Warwick tree was hired by my friends neighbor to cut down trees... they then had the nerve to put the trees they took down on my neighbors property without asking and left them there!!!Who does that???? Then after countless efforts to call my neighbor got nowhere and finally went down there!!! They removed the trees but left a huge mess and didn't clean it up at all! You guys can't just leave your cut down trees where ever you like!!! read more

My husband called to get a quote and the woman who answered said they had other business and wouldn't send someone for a quote. Apparently they're so busy they aren't interested in new business. What's worse is there was a crew directly across the street cutting a tree... It would've taken less than 5 minutes for a quote... read more

came to remove a tree and dropped a large branch on my electric wires connected to my gable and ripped it right off my house the owner could care less and with no concern and would not pay me for it. use anybody else not warwick tree if i could give them zero stars i would, real sloppy work read more

We had two trees removed including a very large, dangerous oak close to power lines. Another tree trimmed and stumps removed. All done for a reasonable price. Their work was professional, safe, efficient and diligent. What a dangerous job! We were very impressed by their work and highly recommend them. read more

Had a great experience with Warwick Tree service. I requested an estimate to take down a 30+foot blue spruce. The quote was very reasonable and we agree on the amount. Within 5 days the crew was on site and the tree and clean up was completed in one hour. The crew was professional and knowledgeable. Thank you! read more

Worst tree company in Rhode Island. They put a tree from a neighboring property onto my yard and have left it there for 4 months. Will probably have to take them to court to get it removed. DO NOT HIRE. read more

dropped a tree onto my property, destroying a 200 yr old pear tree while performing work on a neighbors property, when confronted the guy in the bucket decided hed have an attitude and start screaming "what am i gonna cry about a rotted tree" all whilst the tree is still growing and these branches still alive. instead of handling it proffesionally they chose to be rude and continue to scream and try to insult me all whilst screaming and creating a scene like some toddler because he messed up and killed one of my trees. then claims to have offered to cut down what was left of my tree. one of his guys was polite and tried to offer a remedy but had i not come home they most likely would have cut my tree in half and left all without me knowing who was responsible. unless you want a lawsuit with your neighbors hire someone else. read more

On May 2nd 2017 Warwick Tree Removal were scheduled to remove one oak tree from my backyard and grind the stump for $2300 around 1pm. While working on my property two of my neighbors ask them to remove trees on their individual property. They had all their equipment set up on my property so owner decided to do the two additional jobs. The crane was still set up in my driveway, over my water line, when I arrive home at 6pm. On the quote from WTS it states they are not responsible for damage done to the lawn by your tree . My tree was on my front lawn along with my neighbor's 2 trees causing additional damage to my lawn, (which wasn't notice until WTS removed all the limbs off the property over the next two days), and the road by my mailbox now had a hole with broken asphalt. One of my neighbors paid WTS about $800 cash to remove his tree (no paper trail), the other ask to be bill for the tree they had removed. On May 12th I received a bill for $3300. I called to ask about the increase in price and was inform by the receptionist/owner's wife that they didn't have my neighbor's information to send her the bill so it was added to my bill. Who does business this way??? You take on a job and didn't get the name & address of the customer.....so you send me the bill. And not on a separate invoice, in which I can just hand it to them but on the same bill. The owner of WTS, Derek, gets on the phone and angrily tells me that my tree was the biggest one and the damage to my lawn came from my tree and not the other two trees that were place on my property and that my lawn didn't look all that nice anyway. The damage that was done to the road is for the city to fix. I asked him when are they coming back to grind the stump. He says it usually done a week after the tree is removed so it will be next Tues. I asked May 16th? (Well then that's 2 weeks after removal.) He said "yes but if you're going to be a problem I won't bother to come back and grind the stump" and then he hangs up on me. This is how they treat a customer. I hired you to do a job and you're yelling at me and telling me that you won't finish the job or fix the damage that you made because you got greedy and took on extra work. It seems Warwick Tree Service is under new ownership and this is how they now do business. Warwick Tree Service is the worst contractor I have ever dealt with both personally & professionally. They lack customer service skills, professionalism and common decency. Fair warning. DO NOT DO ANY TYPE OF BUSINESS WITH WARWICK TREE SERVICE, OR DEREK & DENISE ONEPPO. Do not order firewood from this unscrupulous business. I ordered a cord of dry seasoned hardwood from Warwick Tree Service. What I received was a cord of literally water logged wood. I called to report the problem, they never returned my call. I went down in-person and reported the problem - at this point i had the wood for 1 month, stored under an over hang - out of the weather. They said they was nothing wrong with the wood and i need to wait for the wood to dry - what? The secretary said the owner would contact me - 2 weeks later and no call. The wood is so bad it now has mold growing on it, it is unburnable - I have resorted to re-splitting some of the wood in hopes it will dry but it is so wet..... read more

They are unprofessional. I contacted them for a quote and asked them to confirm some things and didn't call me back. A week went by, they finally called back. While completing the tree service they didn't communicate with us. They left the trees and ruined part of my neighbors drive way even though he talked to them and said that if they went up the to your house they would struggle and may damage his property. When I did call to ask why the trees were still there they said they were waiting for the bob cat. Okay well why did you not inform us of that. You could have called and left a message. Lastly. I called and provided my credit card about a week and change ago.. still haven't charged it. Most people would be excited but I got other stuff to pay. I shouldn't have to wait for them to get their shit together. I give them two stars because they did a good job removing the trees. read more

Wow! On time for the estimate!. Estimate fair and on target. Easy scheduling, Gail aims to please. Called prior to showing up for job when leaving the yard. On time to the minute. Awesome!. Complex job requiring crane lifting BIG trees over house. This is THE most professional outfit I have ever dealt with. The crew was ultimately courteous. Clean up was meticulous! Highly recommend. read more

Great service from start to finish!! The crew was professional and courteous. They were there when they said they would be and ground the stump the next morning. I would definitely use them again. read more

We used this company a few years ago to cut down a tree. Work and clean up was fine and crew was pleasant. Figured we would call them for some trimming. Bad decision. 'Crew chief' was rude and ignorant. Trim was horrible. He left bare branches five feet long sticking out. Made a call to the office but it was a waste of time. Owner was supposed to be called but never heard anything more--poor business practice starts at the top I guess. Will never use them again and for sure would not recommend. read more

Fast, efficient & affordable. A large (40ft) dead elm tree sat hanging over my house and the neighbors. Warwick tree service came the day they scheduled and worked quickly to remove it as efficiently as possible at a reasonable price. I would use again and recommend them to others. read more

I did not even hire Warwick Tree Service for a job. They were servicing my neighbors home. The workers were loud, making jokes, standing around smoking cigarettes. Very unprofessional. I would be embarrassed to have them service me property. Left a big mess on mine and neighbors property. Total disregard for the tidy neighborhood we live in. read more

this company was doing work next door . m neighbor convinced me to cut a few trees down in my yard. we agreed on a price ,only thing in question was to cut trunks down as far as possible , they agreed ,so we left them with my neighbor. when we came home we found they didn't cut the trunks as per the agreement. made some calls ,they made more promises ,but never returned. this is not a big deal to do , they got paid, and never returned. finally i took out my little 16" chain saw and tried to cut it but it is too small with a dull blade so i quit, and was even more determined that they return and finish the job. so far no luck, how do these people do it they are just bad business people. by the way ,ionly use north eastern they are very thorough, and if they say they will return, they do . read more

In a word...Terrible. I called and had somebody come out to give me a quote on some work in June. I told them we would circle back after vacation and discussed with my wife. Called them back in August to have them come and do the work quoted. I was told Derek would call me to schedule a date. A week and a half went by with no contact. I called again and was told that Derek would call me when he finally strolled into the office that day. No call. I called again a week later (today) and the lady who answered the phone said that Derek would call me back before the end of business today. I told her I was a bit irritated and if I didn't hear back today, she could take that quote, crumple it up, and throw it in the trash. Needless to say, once again, no call. Business must be really good or this is a poorly run organization. I'm going to go with the latter. I will be giving my money to someone else. read more
