I wanted to wait a full 10 days before writing this review and I just want to share that I had the most wonderful experience with Dr. Stout and his amazing team. He is truly so caring and listens and is a master of his craft. He literally looks at you and enhances your beauty and each person it's different. He takes a time to really consult with you and to go over your issues and to recommend his expert opinion. I've been wanting to get a upper bleph for over 20 years and as an Asian, I was thinking I should definitely go to an Asian doctor and I did Interview so many but I felt the most comfortable with Dr. Stout and I'm so glad I did it because he made everything exactly what we talked about and exactly what I wanted and the healing process was so easy there's no scars and there's so many follow up appointments. He also calls you after and his staff as well to check up, which really means that they care and I now feel like they are family thank you so much! Now I just can't wait to go back and visit them and just say hi and thank them for everything! You won't regret going to him he's the best

Before and after

I thought I would have to put up with the dark circles and bags for my whole life because afterall, it's in the genes in my family. However, thanks to Dr. Stout, that is not the case! See below! I know my mom is looking down from heaven happy for me! I don't even wear cover up anymore!! Dr. Stout is a master surgeon AND an artist. Obviously, he has the skill but not everyone has the artistry. He is a master in his craft and I can't recommend him enough. In addition, he's just a great and interesting guy. Thank you, Dr. Stout and your whole team. Pros from start to finish.

If I had to describe, in a word, Dr. Stout, his office staff, and his surgical staff, it would be: fantastic! First things first, Dr. Stout doesn't need a Yelp review. His reputation and credentials are off the chart but there's this silly notion that plastic surgeons have to be in Beverly Hills to be good. WRONG. I started noticing my under-eye bags about 5 years ago. They always bothered me but, in the last year or so, they were really bothering me. I didn't like photos of myself because my bags were getting so prominent. At first, I was referred to some fancy schmancy doctor in Beverly Hills who I wasn't impressed with AT ALL. Thanks to a friend who knew the situation, they asked their dermatologist for a referral and that's how I was lucky enough to hear about Dr. Stout. The minute I went to see him, I knew he was top-notch. His office staff was friendly and professional and his waiting room was free of chaos. I had seen his before and afters online but I got to see more while I waited and was super impressed with all I saw. My initial consultation was awesome. Dr. Stout is humble and approachable and instantly put me at ease. The good doctor took his time and addressed all my concerns and answered all my questions. (I had never had plastic surgery so I had plenty!) I wasn't interested in looking like the 25-year old version of myself and he completely understood this. The day of my surgery, I got to speak to the surgical nurse, Dr. Stout, and his amazing anesthesiologist who, again, all took their time with me. They answered my concerns and calmed my nerves. I've been to doctors who are in a big hurry and Dr. Stout's office is the complete opposite. It meant a lot to me that they understood and made me feel extremely confident. To me, a talented doctor with great bedside manners is a huge win-win and that's exactly who Dr. Stout is. For anyone who says they didn't get the results they wanted, I have to wonder if they followed directions. Dr. Stout's assistant gave me super detailed instructions for the week leading up to surgery as well as day-of and after care and I couldn't be happier with the results. My results are totally natural-looking and I had zero scarring. Also, important to know, on the pain scale, I've had hangnails that hurt worse. I just had my surgery 6 weeks ago and I LOVE the results. I got carded for the first time in 10 years and I'm pushing 50. If you're serious about changing the hand Mother Nature gave you, I can't recommend Dr. Stout highly enough!

This doctor was terrible. First of all, he is a man. I don't know who that is in the picture. The…read moreelegant office you go to for your consultation is nothing like the sketchy operating room. He is only concerned with profits. Patient care is missing. After my surgery, my breasts were on my shoulders. I had bulging underneath my breasts that never healed normally. I was missing half a nipple. This doctor shot me out of the office in less than an hour after surgery. He didn't even give me pain meds for the trip home. I was in excruciating pain for weeks. The follow up was trash! It's all for looks. No care involved at all. I paid for a ten year warranty. The breast with the large bulge ruptured two weeks after my warranty expired. When i went to look for this office, they had moved and didn't have a listing. He removed all his old reviews. I had to ask around to find him. Sure enough, he was hidden with no signage on his building. I had to search every floor and check doors before I found his new office. I asked about revision and was treated like a new patient. No concern about my ruptured breast at all! I was quoted $7500-$9000. Fkg ridiculous! The doctor who did my revision said that the previous doctor implanted 700cc sacks and overfilled them to 900cc. That explains the bulging and strange shapes they took on. I paid half of what doctor T's office quoted. I'm in nearly no pain, two days after my revision in TJ. I stayed in the hospital overnight and my husband was accommodated too. My new doctor just texted me to ask how I'm feeling. Wow! What a difference! Don't let your excitement get the best of you. Find a doctor who's going to care about your procedure, not just the money he's making.

Dr. Obi is the GOAT of upper blephs! I had mine done in 2/26, and am still obsessed with my…read moreresults, so this review is long overdue. I setup 2 consults, but ended up cancelling my 2nd right after exiting Dr. Obi's office because I loved his vibe, the facility, and his staff, and booked my surgery within ~2 weeks of the consult right on the spot. The price is all inclusive (you will have multiple follow-up appointments after the procedure), and the surgical suite is onsite. I found him organically online by scouring reviews, specifically only looking for surgeons in nice cities across LA County. Yes, you can get a bleph cheaper if you go to low income cities, but I wasn't willing to take the risk with something like this. I'd label the price here as what I expected it to be based on the locale. I met with Megan and Dr. Obi for my consult. She was so sweet and funny and made the consult comfortable. We ended up consulting about more than the bleph, as I'm interested in fixing some other negative side effects of pregnancy in the near future once my toddler doesn't need me to carry him everywhere as much. I'm 38, and have genetic history on the maternal side of hooded eyelids - my mom, grandpa, and maternal uncle all had this same surgery in their 50s. Having a baby aged me in a lot of ways, and my saggy lids was one of those. My right had more excessive skin than my left. They weren't hooded yet, but the excessive sag just made me so self conscious without makeup, as just looked super exhausted always. My blond lashes and the undereye circles that emerged after pregnancy didn't help my makeup-less look. My early 20s face was truly restored by this procedure. Those that have known me that long have all said the difference is so stark, yet subtle at the same time, in how the procedure reversed my facial age. The facility is clean. There are 2 covered parking garages right behind it. The pre-surgery instructions were spelled out very well. You'll need an eye exam and clearance from an eye doc beforehand, which you can easily get at Costco if you're crunched for time like I was. Your post-op meds will be called in before surgery date so you have those at home already before surgery. You'll get a laundry list of helpful stuff to order to help with recovery, mostly all from Amazon, on a single piece of paper to make things easy. I'm extremely anxious in medical settings - have literally passed out multiple times from having my blood drawn. Even getting my teeth cleaned at routine dental visits is scary for me. Thus, the thought of being wide awake in the OR while my eyelids are basically cut off was very scary for me, but it was honestly a breeze. I got anti-anxiety meds to take the morning of, and everyone I encountered the day of surgery made the procedure completely tolerable. We were jamming out to 2010s rap in the OR by choice, and I was able to carry on conversation the entire time I was being worked on - we talked about work, our kids, and life like we were at brunch, LOL. Dr. Obi was really good with announcing what he was doing before he'd touch my face each time so that I wouldn't flinch to his touch. Your eyelids will be numbed immediately and it feels like they're so heavy, you'd never be able to open them, yet walking into it, I was so afraid my eyes would just open mid-procedure, which obviously didn't happen. Josh, the OR tech, was hilarious and kept me laughing. Susie, Victoria, and Perla were my nurses, and they were all great and so sweet. The procedure itself was maybe 30 minutes, but you'll be on the table longer than that because the prep work takes almost as long as the surgery. I was able to take a selfie of myself right after I hopped off the table and walk myself to the recovery room. I'm a Family Law Attorney who is always in court (but WFH), and I went right back to work the next day. I even defended a deposition within the same week as surgery. Dr. Obi gave me a steroid to help with the swelling and bruising because everyone was worried about me looking crazy at this depo, LOL. The pain the day of was like a prickly pain all over my face before I took the pain meds. That was the only dose of those I took, then I used OTC stuff for maybe 2-3 days post-op before I didn't need anything at all. Sleeping propped up for many days was one of my least fav parts, but tolerable. Your eyes will be really tight and hard to blink, so become dry easily, but they give you eye drops to order for that. In hindsight, I wouldn't have gone back to work the next day because of the lack of blinking + staring at a computer for hours just strained my eyes too much. I swelling and bruising came down faster than I expected, and the pain was so minimal compared to what I'd anticipated. I've sent numerous people to Dr. Obi for the same procedure already. I wish I'd done it years ago! See the before and after pics I grabbed from his IG of me, and a set I took myself.

I had a paid consultation scheduled and arrived on time. After waiting 90 minutes with no update…read morefrom staff I left. The waiting room was full, and other patients had been waiting even longer (over two hours). There was no communication, no timeline, and no attempt to manage expectations. Delays happen, but this was chaotic, and appeared to be systemic overbooking rather than an isolated issue. For a surgical consultation, where attention to detail and patient care should be paramount, this experience was concerning to say the least. I felt I was waiting to be processed, not cared for. I sat there thinking - these are the people that would be responsible for my pre-op care, my surgery, my aftercare, and any complications that may arise during or after my procedure. And they cannot get the most basic function of the operation right. Ultimately, the consultation fee was a small price to avoid a five-figure mistake. Maybe it's ok for filler and Botox. If like me you are making a permanent decision about your body, beware. I won't undergo a scalpel on an assembly line. Hard pass.

I definitely recommend giving Dr Schwartz and their team a chance if you are interested in any cosmetic procedures! After surgery, I was told that maybe they should have treated the calves because they didn't actually know if it would have been tolerable. That was incredibly frustrating to hear. I paid $12,000 and am now left with untreated calf lipedema and unevenness from the surgery. Since then I was very self-conscious about them because they looked awful. I tried creams, tea bags, cold water compresses, etc. and nothing worked so I made a goal to have lower blepharoplasty done before the end of this year. Around August 2025, I was referred to a plastic surgeon by a friend. The doctor was reluctant to perform surgery on me for a couple of different reasons which I won't go into great detail. So without knowing anyone else, I found Dr. Wang and another Asian doctor via the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Since I am Asian, I was specifically looking for Asian doctors who had experience with this surgery on Asian males. I looked at his website, searched for any medical malpractice cases, lawsuits, was he board certified, etc. then scheduled an initial visit. Including Dr. Wang, I purposely visited with three doctor's for this surgery. During the visit with Dr. Wang, I asked about his facilities, the pre-op and post-op steps, aftercare support and follow-ups, shared with him my concerns (stemming from the visit with the first doctor), and a variety of additional questions. In fact, before the actual surgery date, I had two additional visits with him to talk over the initial concerns I had. Incidentally, there was no charge for these visits. Dr. Wang spent plenty of time with me during all three pre-op meetings and saw me pretty quickly meaning, once I stepped into the office for my appointment, I was seen by him in less than fifteen minutes. The surgery went smoothly and I'm very happy with the outcome. I've had four follow-up visits with him with a fifth one scheduled for February 2027.
