We called four body shops in Yreka for estimates and two either didn't return our calls or wouldn't give estimates over the phone. Cecil's (which bills as Robustellini's Body Works) gave us the lowest estimate range ($150-$175) as well as the shortest repair time (30 minutes). The other body shop I contacted said it'd take two hours and cost around $200, and they said the part would take a lot longer to come in. The final bill was $149 and it did take only a half hour. Service was friendly, professional, and assertive. John was willing to order the part based on my description of it and with the VIN so we didn't have to wait for it to be ordered. I really appreciated how prompt he was with calling me and letting me know that the part had been ordered, when it was expected to arrive, and when it had arrived. I didn't have to chase him down for details. He contacted me and could get things taken care of as fast as possible. I would definitely recommend Cecil's without reservation in all respects - best price, fastest service, thoroughness, friendliness, and professionalism.

Living up in the mountains of northern California, sometimes the unexpected happens. I came down my…read moredirt road to find an approximately 18" tree fallen across the roadway. I made the mistake of trying to go around and ended up a little off the road, but any further attempts were going to slide me into a tree. Fortunately a neighbor found me and chainsawed the tree out of the way. Still, I had to find a way off the side of the road where I was stranded. A longtime auto-club member, I called the roadside emergency service and a competitor of Fred's was sent out. The man was rude and barely tried to help me. From the beginning his attitude was extremely negative and deteriorated into flat out mean. He gave an anemic, seconds-long try, and pronounced it impossible. Then, he left without the courtesy of even letting me know that I was on my own. Long saga cut short, I was referred to Fred's Towing. The service man who arrived had a less-than-90-day employee, still in training, with him. They were able to recover my car in under twenty minutes. "Piece of cake," they both said. Needless to say, Fred's Towing saved the day and it will be my go-to wrecker or tow-truck service provider wherever I am in Siskiyou County.

I experienced a hitch failure due to improper installation by Camping World during my trip from California to Washington -- in the middle of the night, just 4 miles from Jefferson's Overland and RV Services. I pulled in with my fifth wheel first thing in the morning at 8am, unannounced and without an appointment, just hoping and praying they could help. As it turned out, they were actually scheduled to be closed that day and had prior commitments elsewhere which was totally understandable. They were locking up and asked me what was going on, and immediately offered to get me fixed up if I was willing to wait -- even offering me to park my fifth wheel there until they returned. Once they were back, Jeff got right to work and had me up and running within an hour. I couldn't be more grateful for their outstanding customer service and hospitality. They turned a nightmare situation into a much-needed stop. If I ever need major work on my trailer or RV, I would travel out of my way just to have quality work done here -- the pricing is more than fair too. Thank you again! 10/10
