The most expensive item tonight was my souvenir hat! Sure no one on the field is being referred to as "future hall of famer" but watching the dizzy bat spin, frozen t-shirt contest and other quirky games that make minor league ball a blast is well worth it. It's baseball the way it should be... up close, entertaining reasonably priced and ego free.

With a nearly-perfect location downtown, AT&T capped off "phase 1.5" (my loving description) of downtown Chatt to kick off the new millennium. A few musical-teams later it's thankfully back to Reds ball for the team with a top logo in the minors. Don't spring for those expensive box seats, especially for a day game: you'll bake in that afternoon sun. Just hang out in the upper-deck shade and stay nimble as you move around those general admission seats to avoid the waning shadows. Night games get a little steamy (no not that version, just humidity) thanks to those Scenic City summer temps and the slight error in building the park not shifted slightly to create shade the whole game (oops). Kids will enjoy the accessible players before they're big-time, in-between getting their mini Lookouts batting helmet ice cream treat. Sign me up for one of those and a chance to see Private Seating and General Admission make their trek around the warning track once more. Food is your classic fare and nothing special, but there are plenty of great places to eat downtown before entry or after the game. If you want to save $$ park for free a few blocks away in one of many safe office lots. It's uphill back to your car but you'll be thinking about that extra cash so you'll be happy. Classic summer fun abounds catching some Lookouts baseball.

Add heat from the outside climate and you have hot beer within minutes. - the lines do not move at any normal pace at all. Should have all vendors selling water. Including the beer line or a vending machine for just water. It's hot and standing in line for a bottle of water is crazy when it barely moves. I got my beer fast but had to wait forever for my sons water. Fireworks were beautiful. The game was great. Enjoyed the final home run on the tenth inning for the home team.

Good Park, Could Use Some Love…read more This is a good sized playground to play in for kids, while at the same time it seems forgotten by time in a way with mildew buildup and a broken slide and a broken viewer wheel. It has good attractions still for my almost 3 year old. He really likes the monster truck spring toy for bouncing. There are still a couple slides that work but the big one is literally broken through. The other enclosed slide is streaming to break away at the top as well which will become a safety issue if it gets much more damaged. If they clean and fix a couple things this place would be a real local gem!

The non working musical stations x 2 that probably need new batteries... The rocking boat needs some grease too to make the squeaking stop. The maintenance crew could spend a couple hours and make this place great.

There are swings you can ride with your little one, and a fun spinning ride you can do with them. Best part is it's fenced so it feels much safer with them running around, especially toddler age kids. You don't have to worry about cars. The whole place is padded and clean which is great. This park has a good variety and isn't so overwhelming as a parent that you have to case or follow them constantly.

We finally reached it! However, I do think they overcrowded the cave, which can take away from the experience. The day that we went, there was a field trip there so that could've been the main reason. The staff were really polite about explaining the crowd. And I overall enjoyed myself for sure! I just wish they would not crowd the caves as much as they do.

I told them to bring extra…read moreclothing cause it's a cave but once they were down, they learned that the temperature stays the same year round and we're nice and comfy. I didn't actually go down because my one friend wasn't able to walk the distance. So we sat around the fire and enjoyed a good chat. The friends that went down really enjoyed themselves and took some very nice pictures. I hope to go one day, but my experience just sitting there was so enjoyable and one of the workers even came and started the fire so we could be cozy. We took some time in the gift shop and enjoyed looking around and my friend even bought an rock apple for her daughter. I'm spacing on the stone. It's made out of but her daughter loved it since she's a teacher. I definitely wanna come back when I have an opportunity to go down into the fall because it looks like it's a lot of fun!
