It is fairly simple, nothing too advanced and all of the machines are very well maintained. There is only one of each kind of machine, except for benches, which causes short waits when the gym is busy. Several full sets of dumbells are available. There are about 8 treadmills, plus elliptical, rowing and biking machines! There are two gyms, a larger one and a smaller one that can be used for basketball or volleyball. A nice pool area has a wading pool, a lap pool and a water slide for the small people. There is a game room with electronic as well as other games. I have not used it, but they also have a small library and a theater! The link has the latest fees, but it cost me $3 for a day pass and I can also use the gym at Sports.com for the day. And this might have been our best birthday/family Vacay ever! I mean, Opry the hotel is immaculate and you don't really have to ever leave once you're there. And the soundwaves waterpark is like double icing on top of the most perfect cake. Even when it rains, you can still enjoy the inside waterpark, and because it is private to only hotel guests, it never felt crowded. We never really had to wait in line for a waterslide, the two lazy rivers were never over congested, and the individual surf lessons on the surf machine might've been a family favorite. We just kept trying over and over and over again until we could do the tricks they were teaching us. Bonus: amazing instructors! Already thinking I should book for next year and do the same thing over again, it was that magical!

Some areas need to be updated, and some slides were not working so unsure if this is worth the price.
