The 2,200 acre land around it was developed into the Tims Ford State Park. Today, it has a visitors center, a gift shop, 20 cabins, 2 marinas, 8 boat ramps, fishing, picnic pavillions, playgrounds, a recreation center, paved walking paths, mountain biking paths, and 4 hiking trails- the Clifton Doyle Trail (.55 mile), the Highland Rim Wildflower Trail (.25 mile), the Lost Creek Overlook Trail (1.35 mile), and the Spann House Trail (a 3.8 mile loop). The coolest thing about this park is that if you decide to boat, it has a floating restaurant you can boat up to, and six islands with campsites you can boat up to and camp at. The aviary has a gorgeous owl, and we enjoyed the overlook we hiked up to.

Kind of weird there were some people here, but all sitting in their cars. There were a couple picnic tables, but again, just located on the gravel. The walk down to the area below the dam is quick and easy (literally a minute away). The rocks are covered in small shells (not sure where they all came from .... but thousands of them). The dam is a nice place for a photo op, but there isn't really anything else to do here. This is about a 10 - 15 minute detour if you want to swing by and check this place out if you're already in the area.

The staff were really Nice and accommodating. The start of the river is really close to the office which is Nice and once you are done you get picked up in a cool bus anddddd you can also write whatever you want on the bus!! The second best part was seeing the cows from the cow sanctuary bathing in the river! Would 100% go back!

I felt calm and secure, had so much fun, he's been jumping for 20 years so he really makes you feel well trained by the time you are in the air. I went with a friend who is a pro but by the time you have your rig on you've made several nice acquaintances- everyone is SO NICE! So have to brag, I did this for my 50th BDay and I worked out my abs for 9 weeks so I could feel safe to be able to stick the landing but I didn't need it - the rig does most of the work and feel silly I didn't do this YEARS ago! My husband didn't want to jump but he came and watched from the Clayton Airport (serendipity) and watched me go up and land. BTW, you go right at the A/P and it's the first parking lot on the left and if there isn't parking the AP let's you park there. And the jump office is just a long work office - it does not look like much but do not let it fool you! The crew are amazing and they take great care to make sure your rig fits, you know the few basics, head and feet back like a inverted C once you jump and make sure you're strong enough to keep your feet up so when you land you don't hit the ground when you skim the ground on landing - the landing was like a water slide so it's from beginning to end a great experience, and I cannot wait to go back!!

Do not trust them. I took my JetSki in because it would not stay running when it was on idle. They…read moretold me that it would cost me $75.00 to get it checked out. I told them not to do any work on it before they talked to me and they wrote that down. First of all, they kept my JetSki for 3 weeks before they even looked at it and I had an appointment (so why have an appointment if they are not going to look at it until 3 weeks later). Second, they put spark plugs in it (even though on their paperwork, it said not to do anything until I approved it, I could have put spark plugs in it before they checked it if that's what they needed). So, then they tell me that they were not able to fix it and because they put the spark plugs in, my price jumped up to $208 and some change, for them to tell me they could not fix it. But wait that is not all, after I got home I noticed that they ended up charging more for what ever reason and now I paid $215 and some change. So, my $75 went up to $215 so they could tell me that they could not fix my JetSki. Does that sound like a place that you want to spend your hard earned money?
