There was a wine section that I would have loved to have looked at but since I couldn't purchase any on a sunday, I chose not even to look. We were leaving early the next morning. I've driven by here so many times and the massive candle always catches my eye, so I decided to stop with a friend on the way home during a road trip to check it out. When you walk in, it's a bit intimidating. It was just after the holiday season so there was still a lot of leftovers from the holiday. The tone and tone of candles are very spread out so it's a bit confusing and frustrating to have to walk all over to get the scents. There were tons but I don't think that any of them necessarily appealing to me, mainly because they were very homey scents and too sweet for my taste. Sadly nothing caught my eye although there were lots of scents and products to choose from. Candles in every size and shape and scent, lotions and body products, and eats and drinks. This is a nice place to take a break from traveling and walk around to stretch your legs. They sell a variety of items, including candles, home decor, candy, and other foods. They also have a small cafe with great sandwiches and pie. They have clean bathrooms, which is a big upgrade from rest stops. The staff are very friendly. read more

We stopped by on the way back to Chicago from Columbus. We enjoyed candles from Illuminations and other companies. Warm glow was a great pit stop for our drive back and we really had to go to the bath room and they are spot less. We spent about 20 minutes and did buy 6 candles and buyer beware they need a container to be burned in. They are not your typical candle in a jar because they need a jar or plate to be burnt on. My biggest complaint is they really don't spread there scent really well. After burning the candle for 3-4 hours you could barely smell the candle beyond 15 feet from the actual candle. Other candles would usually fill a whole house with scent after that time and you would think that this is a "factory outlet" that it was a deal but it wasn't. We've gone through two....four left. read more

Cute, rustic country style store. Convenient to I-70. We stopped to use the restroom and since I love candles, it seemed like a good choice. Restrooms were nice and clean. Staff was friendly without being pushy. I liked how they had their candles displayed. All of the different sizes of one scent were placed together with a price sheet so when you found a scent you liked all of your options were right there. Great selection of scents too. Lots of additional home decor. Was kind of disappointed that a lot of their "non-candle" items were made in China - I was hoping to see more local stuff. They do have a cafe but keep in mind it opens an hour after the shop opens. Overall a worthwhile stop. read more

I received a candle several months ago from here. I happened to be in the area and saw the signs on the interstate. We pulled in and decided to walk around and check out the place. I will say, you could get lost in here for hours. There is so much to see and so many things to do. They have a restaurant here so save some room for good food. With some help, I was able to get my favorite scent and get in and out in no time! Being on a tight schedule for travel this was very pleasing. I got what I needed and enjoyed the experience. Looking forward to my next visit but in the meantime I'll just have to jump online and order more! read more

Home of the giant candle! It's a great place for gifts ranging from candles to jams to country bumpkin doo dads. The place just keeps getting bigger and bigger! The eatery inside is actually pretty tasty, too. And we love the koi ponds outside! Warm Glow is easy to find; just look for the big ol' candle off I-70 in Centerville. You'll see it! read more

Candles and more! This has to be one of the largest candle outlets I've ever seen. Located right off I-70 in Wayne County, you can't miss the fun and unique building. I don't care about candles. I don't get them. The craft beer selection was very Indiana-specific, and they had Three Floyds, which we greatly enjoyed. Their chocolate is and ice cream are great as well, as is their restaurant. We ordered a salad (lots of feta!), and a Philly brisket sandwich (onions and brisket with cheese - not even remotely "Philly," but had great flavor. Cute candle shop located right off the freeway. Several scents of candles I had never seen before. Cute decor other than candles. The food they were serving also smelled delicious. I'd give the place 3 stars based on the fact it's kind of neat but the thing is to talk about the candles and customer service. The candles aren't much to look at, bought 3 different scents and unless you're within 2 feet there is no aroma thru the room. For the price (way too much) you should get a lot more aroma thru a bigger area. The customer service is lacking, don't even get me started on the check out other than to say they must have hired the slowest person they could find. Do yourself a favor and just buy candle from a big box store, they'll last longer, produce a better smell and are a lot cheaper. read more

How could you give this place anything less than 5-stars? I've never seen another candle store doing the candle-store thing better than this place, that's for sure. I've been meaning to stop in here every time I drive by it on my way to Muncie/Richmond, and I'm glad I did. While the "drippy" look of the candles isn't exactly modern (it's hardcore "country" if you ask me), there is something really cool about a thriving business like this making and selling their high-quality candles in Indiana. I got a couple, and if you compare the prices here, to say, Yankee Candle, it's not even close. I think my 6-inch (high and wide) pillar candle was $20. And it was just fun to walk through and see all the scents and products they have - I didn't even have time to see the whole store. Also, one candle I bought gave proceeds to a veterans' assistance program which is always great to see. Friendly and helpful customer service too. read more

Most beautiful hand dipped candles I've ever purchased!! My parents farm was pretty close to this place and we use to go there quite often. Then I moved overseas for 18 years and my sisters would send then to me in the mail. ***This review is solely on the little café of the right side of the business. I can not tell you are how wonderful the pies are. They are not only home made, but just created with pure heavenliness. I ordered the Lemon Meringue Pie. I ate the pie and I thought I died and gone to heaven. Hubbs agrees that the pies are divine. I mean the meringue was like a mile high. I was grinning from ear to ear because I felt like a kid again. The man who served us was so humble, he was one of the pie makers... we talked about the pies for a good while. They also serve a lot of home made foods, but we had ate dinner already and just wanted a slight snack. I wish they were way closer, so I would be able to order pies every week to share with my friends and loved ones. read more

Excellent place to stop for candles! Warm Glow isn't far from my aunt's house so I have the opportunity to stop here fairly often. The store is currently decked out in Christmas galore but you also find a variety of non-seasonal home decor including all things candle related, cookbooks, teas and foods, floral arrangements, and cookware. There is surely a scent here that everyone will like from fruity to spicy to sweet. My personal favorites are Tranquility and Clove. Prices are very affordable and you can find deals throughout the store, including: a small (and hit or miss) clearance section in the back corner of the store, if you purchase 5 of the same candle item/size you receive the 6th for free, and 25% off the scent of the month! Candles come in a variety of sizes from melting chips, room spray, oversize votives, three wick candles, and huge huge huge candles. Prices range from $3.95-$30+ on candles. The regular size votives don't burn as long as other brand name candles but they fill your room with fragrance and burn decently clean. Warm Glow is always worth a stop! read more

They need an improved check-out process. I went near closing time. There was one line for one register open with a huge order and slow checker. Someone came to open another register but instead of asking for the next person in line, she quietly beckoned the last person in line, two had two shopping carts worth of stuff. I followed her but when the register froze, I went back to the first register and waited. At that point, I learned that the first checker was alternating between two lines, with more people who hadn't been in line when I started waiting again going in front of me. After 20 minutes in line, I put down my planned purchases (about $100 worth of stuff) and walked out. read more

Recently visited warm glow candle outlet, This is another place you could spend a couple of hours, Lots and lots soaps, lotions, jewelry, nic-nacs. Little pricey for my taste but you can find a bargain once and a while. They recently added wine, chocolate, salsa, jams and other food items. Many of these items are made within the neighboring states. the BACON flavored salsa, THE BEST! Inside there is also a small café to eat at. Next door they have a garden type of store. Everything decorative for your garden or yard. Also many types of candles, cards, even have a pet section for things for your pets. And the bathroom... You just have to google it to see for yourself. Its amazing. Its more like a home than a bathroom; kind of reminds you of an old farm house, on a ranch, with chandeliers, and a trough to wash your hands in when you are done. read more
