Stopped in this morning with friend, Demanding Dan. This place highly recommended by his friend,…read morewho lives in the area. Large assortment of smoked meats, and assorted condiments. Was looking to buy a kielbasa, but was specifically looking for one stuffed krajana style (Polish for chunky), not ground meat style. They only make the latter. I ended up with frozen packages (frozen, due to the long drive home) of Italian sweet sausage, Italian hot sausage, and bratwurst. Each priced at $10.49 / lb. For me, a bit steep. DD got breakfast sausage. Also, what seemed to be a side of beef. It was very heavy carrying it to my vehicle. He, who wears a Rolex watch (and drives a Lincoln!) also thought the prices were steep. He rated them 3 star, which is to be expected. He has, in fact, earned his reputation as Demanding Dan. If I lived a bit closer, would be interested in trying a few other things. And fresh, not frozen. Update - next day. I had one each of the hot and sweet Italian sausage. Very, very good. Nicely spiced, seems like lower fat content than store-bought. Still pricey, though, and no fennel seeds!?!?

Stopped into this cute little place for breakfast today. The vibe is great, loved the playlist…read more It's a mostly self serve style place. After reviewing their large menu, you order at the counter. Everything is made fresh to order. There is also a wonderful selection of fresh pastry tempting you at the counter. Staff is friendly and welcoming. We ordered the primal bowl, maple bacon burrito and a raspberry lemon blondie. Everything was so fresh and delicious! You are expected to bus your own table, which we did not mind. Overall, prices were fair, maybe a little higher than one would expect for a burrito but their slightly higher prices allow them to pay staff a living wage rather than waitress wage. Because of this, they are a 'tip free' establishment. However, if you choose to do so, it goes to a community meal fund for locals which I think really sets them apart! Highly recommend for breakfast or lunch if you're in the area!

This season, I've been there twice and my wife once, all at different times. Each time, there was an excessive amount of waiting involved. Twice, I was told that the food item I asked for, was not available. My wife, the same. I'm talking basics here, not strange and rare items. There also seems to be some items offered cold that normally should be offered hot. No one that I know wants or craves a cold golumpki or pierogi. 3 separate visits and 3 disappointments. Recommendation? Find a few things you do really well, and stick with it. If you still have pickles, start with that. They were great.
