I misheard and ordered my burrito without sausage and which I wish I would've gotten meat! They looked soooo good. My burrito was still amazing! It was plenty for a meal and I felt full for hours. The iced coffee was perfect. I love when cafe's offer sugar free options. Only thing I would change is to make it more clear what to do with dishes. We were trying to figure it out for a couple mins lol overall an awesome spot and I'll be back to try more!

The service was fast and there was plenty of seating and wifi available too. It's pretty busy on Sunday mornings, definitely a bit harder to get work done if you need to really put your head down. The staff was exceptionally friendly and made us feel like regulars, even on my first ever visit. I didn't order a meal, but they offer a full menu, plus the baked goods looked delicious. There are art and pottery for sale, made by local artists and a young potter. I picked up two pieces of pottery, for a great price. The art was out of my budget, but was truly stunning! I wish there was a Java Cat in every town. So lucky to have found it on my visit to Madison last weekend. I'll definitely return!!

I also like how they often play international music that celebrates different cultures and traditions rather than just American music, and in a very divided world that means a lot to me. Since they stock Wonderstate coffee, that's a great deal! The cheddar belt is my go-to order, but I'm still sad that their bagel supplier changed and they no longer have the tomato-basil or wheat bagel. For me, these were the best options with this sandwich. The Firefly signature wrap has also become a go-to for lunch. It's tasty and filling, but came get a little messy with all the pesto. I've tried a few bakery items, their case always looks so tempting, and I think the cookies and cinnamon rolls have been my favorites so far. Really it's the things that don't have the sugar crystals on top as that's never been my thing. Overall, would recommend as a place to come and chat with friends or to get out of the house with little kids. The play area is such a bonus in this coffee shop! Definitely not the place if you need a quiet work environment though. It's always packed which is good, but that automatically makes it louder.

I asked about cold foam and the person who I was speaking with only gave me an option of mango lemon cold foam? I asked again, as I know cold foam can be vanilla or salted caramel and maybe I miss understood. She again said mango lemon? I then said to just give me a splash of half and half. As I went to the drive thru window the girl asked what cold foam I wanted? I told her I didn't order the cold foam because the flavor was odd to me and didn't sound good in cold brew. She told me that they do have vanilla and salted caramel and asked me if I wanted her to add that and the charge to my order? I told her no thank you and paid for my iced cold brew ( honestly the cold foam at that point should have been no charge with all the confusion ). She handed me my drink and then I asked if they have a loyalty program and then the girl ( named Shirley) said that they do and I asked if she could add me. She took my phone number and then I asked if the drink I just purchased would be included in my reward loyalty program. She said that it wouldn't be because she had already rang me up and I paid. This was not a good experience in my opinion. Lots of misses How does the cold brew taste you ask? Meh, It is bitter and I am sad to say that

You can sit inside at the main room or head downstairs where it's more private and comfy and then there's the quiet wine bar off to the side. Lots of mismatched new and antique furniture with old wooden plank floors. Parking is limited as there are only four spots behind the place and street parking otherwise. No drive up window either. They do offer some breakfast sandwich choices, but there were no croissants or other pastries to choose from besides one scone. I got the ham and cheese sandwich and enjoyed the crunchy ciabatta roll it came on. The coffee here is as good or better than Starbucks, so they get that important part of the formula right. When you finish your order and run your credit card, the tip screen will be waiting for you or add to the tip jar. The prices are reasonable and the service is friendly with free Wi-Fi. The interior was very cozy and cute- perfect for both getting work done or chatting with a friend. The goods were pretty much sold out as expected, but I managed to snag a piece of grapefruit rosemary bread alongside a maple cardamom latte. The latte was a bit light on flavor and could have used a bit more sweetener and spice. The loaf, however, was pretty exceptional- it wasn't too sweet and the grapefruit flavor came through very well. The rosemary was also prominent but not at all overpowering. Everything looked delicious, so I definitely look forward to getting there early and trying more pastries the next time opportunity strikes. In the meantime, I definitely recommend paying a visit!
