We have now been through two rounds of negotiations with insurance and Cliff informed us each step how to increase the odds of getting a fair deal : 1) how they would offer only 50% initially what should be paid, and 2) he then responded to the insurance by listing items they left off, and reasons the should be paid for. When we had a horizontal rain several years past, I nearly had my sheetrock collapse near my chimney. Called James Kate, and they not only repaired my entire chimney, but also pointed out five leaks...two by the builder, and three more by previous re-roofs by different companies due to incorrectly installed flashing. Earlier this year, I noticed a ceiling discoloration in the front living area. Again, due to incorrectly installed flashing. They not only repaired everything, but also put in thermal barrier under the shingles. Hopefully won't need a roof replacement soon, but will call James Kate if that occurs.

The leaves had collected in a section over the garage causing water to back up under the shingles which caused water to run off into the garage. Not only did Daniel give me an estimate to fix the problem he got up on the roof with his blower and blew the leaves off so, if it rains again, I will know for sure that the problem was the result of the leaves and not hail damage.
