HORRIBLE!!! THIS IS THE MOST DISHONEST DEALERSHIP I HAVE EVER SEEN. I received a message from them due to a listing i had on facebook. They contacted me not the other way around. Jordan offered me a trade in on a jeep. He quoted me a price on a jeep. When I got there he lied about the year and the miles. I probably still would have bought the vehicle because i liked it. Here is where it went south. He changed the price by a thousand dollars and cut his offer on mine in half. Now mind you he had pictures of mine and the VIN but went from $13000 to $6500. Now here is the thing. I took time off work and drove a hour and a half to this lot based on a lie. I should have read reviews before driving over there because looking through them after my experience looks like this type of deceptive sales is normal for this dealership. read more

Terrible experience. They are very tricky. Left and thought I bought a new vehicle to be texted 2 weeks later by Andy saying I needed to bring it back because it wasn't approved. Never have I heard of being able to leave with a vehicle not approved. They had a hidden policy apparently and are trying to keep my deposit. Stay away!! read more

In the service department, I was treated so well. I am a mom with a minivan who had a strange situation with my door. Well, the receptionist was professional and kind as was Nick, the manager, who went above and beyond in fixing my door himself because a technician called in so they were backlogged. Then, he didn't charge me. How nice is that?! I am a forever customer now. I have been taken advantage of with car service before. Not here. It's nice to know there are still good people in the world. My kids and I thanks you so much, Nick, receptionists, and Ward Chrysler. read more

This dealership uses deceptive practices ( I get it, most dealerships do) I traded in my truck for a brand new one. 40 days later, my old truck loan has not been paid off, my truck i traded in has already been sold and on top of that, I cant get a manager or a finance person on the phone. The lady answering the call states that they are both out. So how does a dealership operate during open hours without a finance person or a manager. My recommendation, DON't buy from this place. I am sure the BBB would find all this very interesting as well. read more

Do NOT deal with Ward Chrysler! My son went there to trade his truck in that he was on with his dad. My son needed a cosigner(that's what he was told) he dealt with a gentleman that he cant remember his name and Christian and he was very nice and made my son and the "cosigner" believe he was trading the truck in for a different vehicle with lower payments. Sadly, they both signed papers and didn't thoroughly read them because again, Christian seemed very nice and they felt they were getting a fair deal. Well that all crashed down when 3 days later Christian called to inform my son his trade wasn't acceptable because there was to much negative equity (he should have been told that the day of). When I called to inquire with Christian what was going on I was informed the other gentleman was no longer employed there and that he said a lot of "borderline" stuff to my son. So with my husband's name on the truck we went over there a few days later to see if there was anything we could do to get out of it being we really can't afford to take on another payment while raising 6 kiddos. When we got there any questions I asked Christian was very defensive and tried basically pushing everything off on my son. Unfortunately there was nothing they could do for us with the truck. So we left and just a few days later the "cosigner" found out he wasn't just a cosigner he was in fact the borrower! After Christian told the "cosigner" my son was the first on the loan when he was asked. My suggestion is before dealing with them go to the BBB website and look for yourself on their ratings. I get it Christian is just trying to make a living but being dishonest is no way to do that. And furthermore I know this review won't mean anything to a multimillionaire company, but because of a dishonest employee they are financially crushing a family of 8. read more

"BAIT AND SWITCH " The word for the day. I received the usual car dealer mailer promotion from Ward Chrysler. I realize that my natural instincts are correct in assuming that it is always a scam, but I thought what the hell. After all it did say I was a $5,000.00 winner. Stupid right? Well when I got there and waited for someone to come and greet me. Usually you have to beat them off with a stick, but they were busy with all the other poor suckers. Finally I was approached by a salesman. He quickly asked, without delay. What type of vehicle I was interested in. I responded that, I was simply fallowing up on the promotion flyer that I received, that said plainly, that I was a $5,000 winner. "Oh" he said, as he pointed to the code number at the bottom of the flyer. "This code only applies to the $100 gift card" (although it's NOT a gift card by the way). "Oh" I replied. "So this is the typical car salesman bait and switch". . After a long silence. Usually reserved for sales tactics ("He who speaks first loses") to cause an uncomfortable feeling between the salesman and the customer. He responded with an agreeable head shrug. That was it! The moment when you realize, "I knew it" Duh! I calmly requested my $100 scam card. A card that I could right another 700 word rant on. I feel that, for those who don't know me personally. I'm in sales, but with a completely different mind set. This particular situation is a cookie cutter example of how and why, people feel the way they do about car salesman. This example gives the wrong impression of what sale is about. We as salesman do mostly survive on commission, so there will always be pressure to make a sale and it's great feeling to close a sale, but a return sale and even better a referral is even better. If you offer a product that has a value to the customer. A product that does what you say it can do. That you know everything about. You DONT need to manipulate anyone. If you don't have a need or want for my product that's fine. "Do know someone that might? Thanks and have a great day!" So please keep an open mind, but be aware. read more

I want to start this out by saying, do not go here. I repeat, DO NOT GO HERE! My partner and I went in to buy a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited - Rubicon Hard Rock edition. We were ready to buy that day but knew that it would have to be located or ordered as it is a rare model. The salesperson that we were dealing with was pleasant and down-to-earth. However, the floor manager was extremely pushy, loud and unbearable to deal with. Initially, they told up it would take 4-6 MONTHS to have it ordered. He kept trying to get us in a different model that they had on the lot or try to change our mind on the color. We have been planning this purchase for 5 months and knew EXACTLY what we wanted. He was not willing to accept that. We knew way more about jeeps than he did. A dealership that is trying to sell a product, especially a vehicle as popular as a Jeep Wrangler, should at least know the basic differences between the different editions. They eventually located a Jeep that met our preferences. We were going to have to pay extra for a dual top though, which was fine. We were able to come to terms on the financing with a trade-in and substantial down payment. We left the dealership in a loaner car and agreed to pick it up the following Friday. They called on Monday and said that the jeep had been sold over the weekend. They had said they were trying to locate another one and would let us know when they found one. We went ahead and looked for one ourselves and found a similar vehicle that met the same preferences. We called and let them know that we had found it. The next day, a different floor manager called and said that the Jeep we located had a greater MSRP (however, we knew that it already had the dual-top option included.) The other dealer wanted to charge a destination fee as well as $1500 over MSRP. The Ward dealership expected us to pay the difference and did not offer any other alternatives, such as ordering or looking for another one. Ultimately, we refused to pay any more for a Jeep that we had already purchased from them. The floor manager rudely and abruptly hung up the phone. We went to Morlan Jeep in Cape Girardeau. They are much more professional and educated about their products. My only complaint is that we didn't go there first! They are the most unprofessional salesmen I have ever encountered. They are only willing to work with you if you are upside down on your loan and have bad credit so that they can take full advantage of you. If I were Jeep, I would yank that franchise. It is the worst. read more

We just want everyone to know how pleasant and helpful Ashley was when we bought our truck recently. She is an asset to the dealership and good to work with. We appreciate low pressure sales people like Ashley. Jason was also pleasant even though he was in a difficult position and that was appreciated. Dennis and Linda read more

Ryne was outstanding when I dropped by recently on vacation. I always walk everywhere I go, and am adamantly against all forms of vehicular transportation, but I was drawn to Ryne's energy, so I walked from Georgia to Illinois to see what the fuss was about. Man oh man I wasn't disappointed. Ryne came closer than anyone ever has to selling me a car. He asked what I was looking for, and merely showed me options. No upselling. No pressure. No tomfoolery. Just good old fashioned customer service. I came very very close to breaking my vow not to drive a car, because of Ryne. read more
