I drove into a Huck's stop and the trailer tire hit a boulder rock. I discovered it when I pre-tripped the next morn. Needless to say I was devastated. Tires and rims are costly for a driver. I called around and was given crazy prices but I knew I had to get it fixed or face ramifications from my employer. I called Don's. When I told him what had happened, he gave me a heavenly price and I had to jump on it. Upon arrival, I met a family of men who were ready and willing to help lil ol' me. What moved me most was the owner's youngest son who had to leave but told his dad that he loved him before leaving. The respect I received and the respect the boys had for each other gave me a fuzzy feeling inside. The service itself took less than 30 minutes! Normally, it can take hours. I seriously appreciate Don's Truck Repair for assisting me in my times of despair. The hospitality and service overall was exceptional! We have been customers here for a few years now, and have never had any issues. However, our most…read morerecent experience has made it where we will NEVER do business with Best One ever again for any reason. We noticed the brake light coming on, then going off, back and forth for a couple days. We needed an oil change anyway, so we took the car in. They came back with a nearly $500 estimate to replace some parts they said were bad. They made it sound like it was an emergency situation and we could suddenly have our brakes go out at any time. My Dad and grandfather have worked on our family's vehicles our whole lives, so I called my Dad to see if he could do the work for us if we bought the parts. He agreed, so we bought the parts Best One said needed replacing, and took it to my Dad. After looking at the car, he said there was nothing wrong with it and even got my grandfather to look at it to be sure. The only thing they noticed was that whoever did the oil change put nearly a quart too much oil in it. So, we took it back to Best One, told them what we had found, and asked that they drain out the excess oil they put into it. Once they heard this, the fake smiles and customer service were completely gone. They had no explanation for either incident and didn't even offer any kind of apology. We got a call a few hours later (after wondering 'how long does it really take to drain some oil'?!) from one of the mechanics stating that the car now would not start, they couldn't get it to even hold a charge, and asking if we wanted to buy a new battery and have them put it in. At this point, the nicest thing we could say was "No." We had just had the battery tested a month before, and knew that it was still good. Our car is kept in a garage, so we knew the cold weather wasn't the culprit, either. We are so disappointed in the way this situation was handled, that we have vowed to never go back to ANY Best One service center, and have warned our friends and family against trusting them with their vehicles as well.

The salesman told me that they would take the tires and rims off, go to the shop, replace them with some old tires and re-install them on my vehicle. They took the rims, removed their tires and returned the rims without any tires. They dropped the rims off next to the vehicle and did not have common sense to knock on my door and let me know that they did this. At least have the decency to follow through on your agreement.

Well, well, well... What to do on a Friday night?…read more Yesss! Go to the 24/7 tire shop to replace tires!! (And flirt and laugh with the mechanic guys) Having fun and being safe is the most important things to me when I'm driving a semi, but staying safe is not really the back burner thing. It's the #1 thing and very important to maintain my semi truck and trailer everyday. Every single day before I even start my truck up I walk around it to check the tires, for leaks, my brake air hoses connections, and a few other things but these are the main things. Today I noticed my tires are used up from the winter snow and ice and it's getting really hot, in some places it's over 100° in some states on the interstate. So anyways, I pull into this shop, about 9pm last night. I cake on my lip gloss and put my pocket knife on my pocket and got the Big Boss Hogg down out of the truck because I really never know if these guys are going to be jerky creeps or what. We walk into the shop and right away a young guy named Lex happily greet us and offered a beverage. He's a dog lover so he brought Bossy a cold water. He told me they were going to to finish up the truck in front of me and get me in next. I needed to replace 4 tires today and had an idea it might be at least 1 1/2 hours of labor, 2 hours max which he confirmed. So normally it would an all night headache dealing with Loves or Pilot being unprofessional and listening to 3 to 6 hours waiting just to get in, so I knew this was going to be excellent. Sure enough Lex gave the guy his receipt and I pulled my truck in and 2 other mechanics started working on it right away. So me and Bossy sat and was talking and laughing with him and the shop owner on the bench watching the mechanics and as other truckers come to line their trucks up for service. The atmosphere of the shop was decent, I couldn't complain. Badda Boom, Badda Bing! It was done within an hour. He gave me my receipt for $2478.00 so that's about $500 a tire, plus labor and taxes. So, 2 new front steer tires and 2 matching Bridgestone drive tires after normal business hours. I was ecstatic they did not over charge me and were very nice. I loaded up the dog and off we went to call it a night in the reserved customer parking place. So all in all the lip gloss worked and thank god I didn't have to use my knife. I highly recommend this commercial truck shop for any trucker that needs to have any kind if maintenance done.
