Love this place. I now drive the 60+ miles to Denver just to go to SEE when I need new glasses…read more I've gotten three pairs of glasses at SEE over the last 7 or 8 years. Their frames cost more but they are original, stylish, and garner compliments more than you'd expect. They're pretty much Heaven bent into two small windows. The lenses are ground to perfection. Because of Covid I bought my last two pairs of glasses from Pearle Vision in Fort Collins, close to home. They were infinitely cheaper (2 for the price of 1) and a delightful manager helped me on the phone by texting photos of frames. (Great customer service at Pearle in FoCo.) However, Pearle's glasses never seemed quite true to my prescription, and both pairs at different times lost a screw connecting the arm to the glasses' front of the frame in less than a year. You get what you pay for. On the other hand, SEE offers individual frames in small numbers and completely changes over to a new small batch of frames every 3 or 4 months. Their frames never feel "plasticky" but manage to feel sturdy and look lovely. To poorly paraphrase writer Flannery O'Connor, "You won't see yourself coming and going in these frames." Gorgeous frames and very high quality lenses.

Personally, I disagree with the other reviewer. I've only been to Dr. Wood several times over the…read morepast month, but I've always felt the office staff were pleasant. I've had mostly early appts (9:30am) and never had to wait more than one minute in the front. Once in the exam room, the doctor was in within 2 minutes at most. I really appreciate this because waiting at a doctors office is the worse. Also, making the appt was super easy without having to wait 3 weeks to get in. My first appt was two days after I called. The doctor was super friendly, easy to talk to, and really helped me out. When I needed to talk to him, I left a message with the front desk and he called back right after his current appt ended and not at 9pm like other doctors. I'd definitely recommend him.

When i asked if i could switch from monthly contacts to two weeks, the Dr was incredibly rude. I didn't understand why she said no with no explanation, so i asked a second time. Almost yelling at me, she told me i would not be getting two week contacts and that "i needed to let her do her job and practice medicine." She then said shed have to dilate me after looking at my retinal images, with no explanation of what she saw. I said i had work and drove myself and wasn't sure if i could on this day, she then said shed would write to insurance saying i refused to follow her medical advice. She awkwardly apologized at the end of the appointment but at that point it didnt matter much and the appointment was almost over. I then almost crashed leaving their parking lot and struggled to perform at my kitchen job. Will never go back.

Remarkably fresh experience here at the My Eye Dr @ Wadsworth in Lakewood…read more I was helped by a highly professional staff. Dr. Lin conducted my comprehensive exam and nailed the requirements for my prescription. Kristin found me the perfect frames for my lenses. EVERYONE was so very kind, patient and helpful. While being helped, I noticed this location seems like a popular one, so be sure to schedule an appointment ahead of time. I was able to get an appointment with the week. My glasses are strikingly beneficial not only to my vision but overall health: the prescription Dr. Lin provided me has alleviated a quiet but constant tension headache, and my overall sense of balance and peripheral vision has improved. Thanks so much, y'all! I will 100% be back to this location if I need any help and/or for my check-up next year. The 40 min drive is actually worth it!

I told him what I wanted, Oakley flank with Transitions, and I wanted the progressive bi-focals, why I wanted them, he said they would have to send those off to cali to get made, it would take about 3 weeks to get back. I said that would be fine, I asked what the out the door price be? he told me, I said that was to much that I could get the exact same thing online for lots less, he asked where? I told him, he said yea, you're right. So I asked, do you offer a military discount? he said yes, and gave me the new OTD price, my reply was "Lets do it" he said great. So I paid in full right there. Normally I would only like to pay for a deposit at this point but the sales guy was great, not pushy, polite and just seemed he wanted to help so I had no issues. He told me it would be about 3 weeks for them to come in and they will call and email when the glasses are here. They came in a week early, I got the call and email. These glasses are perfect, Cusomter Service was Great, I highly recommend them.
