The tasting room is small when entering and the room we sat in was very tiny but cozy and felt like an old English cottage but they also had another room that was pretty full that day. The wines were good as well as the cookies which were made by a bakery in Orange called Mary's Mountain Cookies. Being cat people, my friend and I especially loved visiting with the winery cat who was making himself at home in one of the chairs. After the self guided tasting and pairing, we did go to the bar to taste a couple of their other wines that weren't a part of the flight and we were then able to interact with the owners a bit which is always my favorite part of visiting a winery. This was a fun visit. We'll be back.

I decided to do their 8 option tasting and really enjoyed learning about Virginia's wines and grapes, having recently moved here from the Pacific Northwest. Out of all of the wines I tasted, my favorites were the Duo (white viognier/chardonnay blend), the Founded 1734 (red blend), and the Vin Gris (merlot/cab franc blush). Bonus, you get to keep the cute glass after your tasting! This was a great place to visit, run by a super friendly couple, with many great wines. I will definitely be back!

The wine tasting was nice. With large parties you are given a flight to try. No need to stand in the tasting room. I liked several of the flavors. You really get to enjoy an immersive, interactive experience on the farm. There is something for everyone, from interactive gardens and live animals. The best for a cute little DIY wine tasting. You can bring your own charcuterie platters, which is what we did to go along with our tastings. They have tasting room called the Purple Wolf Vineyard where you can purchase your portable tastings, wine, beer and slushy flights . I would definitely return again, great place to host a cute birthday event, with your friends. They also have a really nice gift shop as well.

This assortment had two whites and two reds--all of which earned gold medals at competitions. The tasting room has a warm vibe of a country gathering place with tables, a bar, and a stage. They also have outside seating. We enjoyed our wine and people (and dog) watching. My favorites were the 2024 Viognier and the Woodland White. The 2024 Petit Manseng was good, but a bit tart, and the Artist White blend was too dry for my liking. This is a great winery that you should visit when in the area, that's both kid and dog friendly.

I enjoyed the Governor's Flight, and from the first pour, I knew this place was special. The wines were beautifully crafted, the presentation charming and eclectic, with each tasting served in unique vintage glassware that somehow feels elegant, fun, and completely unpretentious. The standout for me was the Village Estate Reserve. The aromatics immediately pulled me in, and the palate just kept evolving -- balanced, expressive, smooth, and revealing new layers of flavor with every sip. One of those wines that makes you stop mid-conversation just to appreciate what's happening in your glass. Beyond the wine, the owners are gracious, the grounds are beautiful, and yes... they welcome furry companions, which earns bonus points from me and the boys. Add in the stunning locally crafted furniture and thoughtful décor, and the entire experience feels warm, curated, and authentic. If you're near Culpeper, Charlottesville, or simply looking for a beautiful Virginia wine experience, Revalation is an absolute hidden gem. Highly recommend.

There are no marked parking spaces, but people typically park on the grass and there is ample space for so many cars. The interior of the main building was very simple and "bare bones" but had a homely charm to it and the lovely woman who served our flights was such a gentle, warm person who complemented the peacefulness of the place! You also have the option to build your own flight, which I always love. The 2024 rosé is a standout, we picked up several bottles to bring home. We could not believe how good the food was- it was worth a trip in its own right! It's on the pricier side but it is clear why, the plates wouldn't be out of place at a fine dining restaurant. We also had the kindest server, Chelsie, who made our experience so special and memorable! She stopped by to chat several times, gave us great recommendations, and she could not have been nicer to me and my friends.
