What I'm not okay with is restaurants sending out food that they seemingly wouldn't serve to someone dining in because the customer isn't there to complain. I paid $8 for a large wonton soup that tasted like water. The wontons are supposed to contain chicken, pork, and shrimp, but all three of mine were literally just wonton noodles with no filling. If it had been one, I could understand it being a mistake--but all three? That felt intentional. The chicken egg roll was fine, but nothing special. I was really hoping to find a new Chinese spot, and based on the reviews I thought this would be a good one. Unfortunately, this experience made it seem like the quality and care just aren't the same when you order delivery instead of coming in person.

Decided upon this place at the recommendation of my mother in law after remembering my finance having previously stated liking the place and then looking up some reviews! The inside is a little dated but not horrible. There was a ton of staff on this day, which was surprising for an early afternoon. It wasn't too crazy busy but also definitely seemed like a staple place for the area based on the steady traffic. The food prices weren't bad at all and portions are really good! The portion size/price ratio is phenomenal! I paid less than $15 for all food shown. The orange chicken/friend rice combo was very underwhelming. Fried rice is bland and the only this making it "fried rice" is soy sauce and very very very minimal egg... no other additives. Orange chicken is super soft and has tons of sauce but unfortunately it does not taste like orange chicken. I cannot explain what it tastes like but it is not bad. The grab Rangoons are very delicious! Loaded with cream cheese, crab, and chives. They are quite large. Overall this was a pretty good experience and I would order here again.

The steak was better but…read moredeserves a better quality cut than the round steak that was served. 3/5 Double cooked pork: Flavor was good but the signature piece of the dish, the pork was overly processed and lacked the sliced pork belly look and texture one comes to expect when ordering the dish. The traditional vegetable used should be primarily cabbage but there were way too many veggie additions that added nothing and served only as filler. Lastly, it would have been better with black bean sauce. 3/5 Thai Basil Chicken: good flavor, tender chicken, once again the veggie medley was a hodgepodge stew and the broccoli was mushy with no bite. 4/5 Crab Rangoon. Solid app with generous portion of sweet and sour sauce I would have rated Sakura Asian Bistro a 3 if it weren't for the terribly inedible teriyaki chicken. No cook should serve a dish that bad and still be able to call themselves a cook.
