First time trying this place and while the wings have pretty good flavor, the customer service is lacking. The whole reason why we placed an online order was so we didn't have to wait. I got there around the time it said our food would be ready. It wasn't, which isn't a huge deal, I don't mind waiting a few minutes. But 10 minutes go by and nobody has said a thing to me about being behind or whatever. Then I looked around at all the other people that were there before me sitting at tables and not one person had food. I finally got my order after waiting another 30 minutes. The lemon pepper wings are good, I like that they give you lemon for the extra flavor. Shack fries were really good, I just wish the serving size was bigger. But the veggies they gave us with the wings were BAD. I went to bite a carrot and got a whiff while biting... it smelled so sour. Then I noticed that everything was slimy. I called wang shack to let them know their produce was bad. Eric sounded all too happy instead of concerned. His excuse was that the veggies are given free with the combos, they had just gotten a produce delivery that morning and he would go check the rest. Heard about this place from the Hubs and I'm soooo glad we came. Great experience! H-Bomb helped us complete our order and she explained how the menu worked. I GREATLY appreciated that. I ordered the 6 piece Jamaican jerk and New Orleans spicy bone in. These wings are DELICIOUS! The have the right amount of moisture on the inside and the right amount of crispy on the outside. Mid, that's the best way I can describe these wings. Not bad, but nothing to rave about. I got the mango habanero and the garlic Parmesan, flavor was good but was lacking in the sauce department. Mango habanero could be a bit spicier and the wings could be a bit crispier. The guava watermelon lemonade however was a 10/10, just a bit sweet but the flavor was really good. I have been waiting on this spot to open solely based on the name WANG! That means it has to be good. Ironically I showed up on the first day it opened so of course I expected some first day hiccups. But it went better than expected. Plenty of parking. The customer service was pretty good. The young man at the cash register was nice a soft spoken. I am sure the soft spoken piece will change after nerves settle in. The managers and workers in the kitchen were on it. I like the fact they scream your name out when they working on your order so at least you know it's coming soon. The wait was 45 minutes which isn't bad for a soft opening. The lady manager apologized sincerely for the wait. The man manager was keeping everything in order and training up his crew! The daiquiri to go was disgusting. Not sure what went wrong with the mix but I'm sure they will get it right. I was refunded with no problem. The fries were great with a little sweet seasoning on them. This place is great, I ordered the 10 Wing Combo and got pineapple bang (My new all time favorite flavor) and Lemon pepper dry rub. The wings were delicious and they also added a lemon wedge to the lemon pepper wings as a garnish which was the proverbial cherry on top. The shack fries, I can't forget the shack fries. They were seasoned perfectly and served with nacho cheese sauce. The last thing in my order was their strawberry peach lemonade and it was also great. Wings are great always crispy yet juicy, their fries are so good always crispy, and if you're a celery lover like me you'll know what I mean when I say their celery is always juicy. Only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because I personally feel like they could tweak the recipe for some of their sauces and the ranch, but they are relatively new I'm confident they'll figure it out. The mild lemon pepper is by far the best flavor. Customer service is also great, they are so attentive and will walk you through the menu if it's your first time. Curiously I called the business asked about if they offered halal, Eric the manager/owner told me how they offer halal options which is made in a complete separate fryer zero chances of cross contamination, even ensured all the ingredients in the sauces were halal.
