Many thoughts so I will summarize:…read more PRIMARILY: DO NOT USE THIS PRACTICE!!! The doctors may be good but everything else is a train wreck. At the suggestion of the doctor's surgical coordinator I changed my health insurance, not an easy process, to allow "In Network" care. After a few visits preparing for Cataract surgery I was told I needed a referral from a PCP. Yes, that is common but I discussed with the same surgical coordinator and then it became an issue. More exams...eye measurements, pre op, paperwork, upgraded laser payment, etc...and I had a PCP provide a referral. The original surgery date had been rescheduled due to the insurance issue partly to blame on the surgical coordinator. After confirming a final appointment with the practice prior to surgery the surgical coordinator informed me by phone, the day before, that all that was necessary was to resign the paperwork. On the day of the appointment I arrived at the designated appointment time, checked in, and waited to be called. Thirty five minutes later I asked the front desk the status. At that point they physically took my chart to "the back" to see what was happening. Another ten minutes passed and I asked again as to the status of my appointment to sign papers. A tech arrived and the first words were "Can we reschedule for four days in the future". The surgery was scheduled for nine days from the that day. I informed her that I would be out of town until the day before surgery. I asked to speak to the Practice Manager. I was summoned to her office and asked her what was happening with my appointment. She stated she did not know. I asked how she could not know after four staff members had been involved. She had no explanation. I CANNOT trust my vision to a doctor's practice that does "NOT KNOW WHAT IS HAPPENING". Concerned, I immediately asked to cancel the procedure after five visits requiring approximately four hours of my in office time not to mention commute time, insurance time, and waiting time. When I requested a refund of the $2100.00 that I prepaid for the upgraded laser for the procedure. The Practice Manager stated it was not available. I left the office. When I reached my vehicle the surgical coordinator called and asked for me to return. The surgical coordinator claimed the issue that day was due to insurance. Everything was in order per the phone call surgical coordinator the prior day explicitly confirming all insurance was filed, confirming coverage, and stated that signing updated information was all that was needed. I informed the surgical coordinator that I cannot trust the doctor's practice given the MANY issues. Procedure cancelled. DO NOT USE THIS PRACTICE!!!

A final update, because people need to be aware of how these people work. Having spent 6 months…read moreemailing and calling to try to speak with someone about this, GA Eye Associates instead decided to turn me over to collections. I had two months to respond, and waited until the clock had almost run out to do so. I responded with copies of emails, and a chronological accounting of every effort I had made to contact these idiots. I have never heard anything back from collections or GEA. My credit score (which was excellent) took a small 2 month hit, but rebounded and more. Sleaziest of the sleazebags. Petty. God help you if you choose this practice.

My first visit to any eye doctor for glasses wasn't great on 3/28. I was referred to her by my…read moredental hygienist. I wouldn't recommend this location. Dr. Rabitsha, is nice enough but I waited almost two hours to be seen. After seeing the doctor I sat with Eve and she was only able to offer me two pairs of frames in my budget. When the first pair came in, I was never called that they were in to pick up-I was told they left me a VM. (I had no VM or missed calls from the the office) and when I picked them up and tried them on in office I couldn't see a thing. Eve informed me it would take some time for my eyes to adjust and to wear them as much as I could that day. It felt very much like I was being dismissed. Nope, wore them all day, or tried to, because I had to work and couldn't see my screens at all. Went back for another appointment where I waiting in a very uncomfortable HOT waiting room for a quite some time past my appointment time-and it after more testing, it was the wrong prescription. RE-ordered my glasses. This was over two weeks ago (4/21) and I still am without glasses. I am not sure if this is just standard for all eye doctors or not, but I did not feel taken care of. The friendliest people there are the ladies that sit at the reception desk. At this point I feel this was a waste of $400.

Do not put your care in their hands! Poor Business practice and poor care…read more I was referred to a urologist by my primary doctor, however that Urologist's first open appointment was in 3 months and I wanted to be seen immediately. There is a reason that Georgia Urology had an immediate available appointment. Initially, the Doctors office was dirty and old. I payed my $30 specialist copay. the receptionists at the front desk were not friendly and I ended up waiting almost an hour AFTER my scheduled appointment time to be taken back to the room. I continued to wait to be seen by the doctor. When she did arrive, I had already given a urine sample. The only thing the doctor did was speak with me. She did not take tests, she did not do any investigation into why I was experiencing the problems I was experiencing. She sent me home with a book on overactive bladder. I am a 30 year old female and my symptoms did not even remotely match those of overactive bladder. She spoke with me for 5 minutes and told me I should come back in 2 weeks for a "follow up". I scheduled the appointment and I left, confused. prior to my "follow up" I received an invoice in the mail for $200. I have excellent insurance and never in my entire life have i paid anything but a co pay, even for surgery. I called to cancel my 2 week "follow up" appointment prior to that day so I could investigate the insurance and the visit. It turns out, Georgia Urology coded the appointment incorrectly. Multiple phone calls with their business manager and they would not code it correctly. Ultimately, I was charged $230 for a urinalysis. no other testing! They refused to recode it properly. I spoke with other Urologists in Atlanta and they had stated the visit should have been $200 WITHOUT any insurance. and they gave me the correct codes for the visit. I still have the issue, but I am now going to a new Urologist. My first visit there was a $30 copay. I am disgusted with the level of care and the poor business practice from Georgia Urology. if you are in need of professional care, please choose another Urologist in Atlanta.
