Waltz Golf Farm is a bit of an odd place, but we had fun playing Mini golf there. If I had to give this review a tile it would be a tale of two courses. The farm has everything you could look for in a golf place, two miniature golf courses, a driving range, and even a par three course. They also have batting cages and the oddest thing they have a gemstone mining setup that you see at amusement parks and zoos. There is also Ice Cream and drinks. The weird thing about the mini golf here is how different the course are from each other. Most places that have 2 mini golf courses, they may be themed different but they are normally pretty similar, The courses here do not share anything in common. So much so that I have to review the differently. The Farm Golf course is the older and more run down of the 2, The theme of this course is traditional farm, they have what i consider the classic style holes and layout, hit it thru the church, bank it off the block things like that. This course reminds me of the type that my grandpa would take me to when I was growing up. The flaw with this course is it pretty run down and not everything works as it is suppose to. Overall I would give this course on its own 3 stars. The Castle Golf course is the newer of the 2. This course reminds me of one you would see on the way to the beach, big buildings that get your attention, but not the most challenging course I have ever played. Everything on this course is in good shape and working order. This course cost a dollar more to play than the other course, but if you are only going to play one, I would do this one. Overall I would give this course 4 stars. The staff was friendly here, there is plenty of parking and the bath rooms were clean. I have no complaints about any of that stuff. Everything looked clean and there is plenty of space here so we never got too close to any other groups. Overall a above average place to play some mini golf, averaging the 2 courses together I would give it a 3.5, since I can't do that I will round it up to 4 stars. If you are in the area want to play a round or 2 of mini golf this is a good option.

I love this mini golf course! It had been a long time since I last went mini golfing and Waltz reminded me of how much I enjoy it! The course is cute, clean and lively making it a great place for a family outing. Although I saw many families there with their kids, I saw just as many couples so there's a good mix of customers. There is a farm and a castle course with a decent amount of obstacles at both. The second course mentioned is a dollar cheaper so prices are very reasonable. They also have snacks and treats available for purchase when you first walk in. I can't wait to go back here for a family outing in the future. I like the idea of doing something like this to get away from the usual family dinners!

icecream minus the amount lost to the floor

was looking for zebras but there were infact none. closest thing was a wood chicken statue. the ice cream was sub par unlike my golf skills. paid 4 dollars for the icecream and when being handed it, a clump was dropped by the employee and no discount was given for the lost amount. the course was nice but the castle was disappointing compared to disney. water is dyed but does not stain hands. floral arrangements around the farm are beautiful but non edible. overall 10/10 recommend and will be returning to look for zebras soon.

Place is nice but the staff is really not friendly at all. I'm really disappointed with my treatment

Great place to take kids. We hit a couple bucket of balls. Has batting cages. And ice cream. Not bad prices.

Mini golf is fun! Chip & putt is the best around! Driving ranges & batting cages all worth the price of admission! Ice cream cones rock too.

Played for the first time today after having several people rave about the course…read more The other comments are correct, this course rewards accuracy, not length. It's possible to drive a few of the par 4 greens. Most holes are a driver and a wedge in. Most holes dog leg one way or the other so it really pays to know the course. You want to know which holes you can bomb a driver and which ones you have to use a wood off the tee. So many new courses that go up these days are building themselves to host future PGA events and make it impossible for a weekend golfer to shoot a solid round at it. I, for one, appreciate courses that are accessible to golfers of all handicaps like this one. In spite of a brutally dry spring so far I thought the course was in awesome shape and well maintained. The greens were green, the rough was cut down to a reasonable length and the fairways were great. What struck me even more about the place was how the owner was up front, taking calls, booking tee times and welcoming people to the course with enthusiasm. You just don't see that at older courses these days. He was working the register himself on a weekend morning. He was a complete mench and seemed thankful you were patronizing his place. The wait staff he hired was also extremely friendly. These are a few of the little things that make you want to go back to the place. Can't wait to check out the indoor facility during the winter. I'll be back....many times. Great job with this place.

Review of Twin Ponds Golf Course…read more We had a 12:04 tee time with my husband and two 16-year-olds who are just learning the game. Because the course was packed, we played best ball to keep things moving -- and still, we were waiting on walkers in front of us at every tee box. Mind you, we were playing from the reds. By the 4th hole, the group behind had caught up. I explained we were waiting on walkers, only to be told we should "take longer between groups" because my husband hits long. Ok, noted. On the 6th hole (a par 5), we had to wait at least ten minutes for two groups ahead of us to clear. When it was finally our turn, we played our best ball into the middle of the fairway -- just a short pitch to the green. As we were setting up to take our next shots (literally as the walkers in front of us stepped off the green), an older couple came flying up in a cart, shouting that we were "slowing the whole course down." When I tried to explain the obvious -- that we were waiting on the groups ahead -- the man cut me off with, "We are the owners." Instead of showing any courtesy or addressing the poor scheduling, they picked a fight with us -- in front of my kids. Here's the kicker: on the 8th tee, after being told we were holding everyone up, my husband teed off a little quicker than usual. He drove the ball onto the green in one -- nearly hitting the very group in front of us. Someone could have been hurt because we were now anxious and in a hurry. My take, Mr. and Mrs. Owner: Your course is one of the worst-kept around. You're cash-only, which feels more than a little questionable. In an area surrounded by golf courses, you'd think you'd treat paying customers better. If you don't want backups, manage your tee times instead of berating families who are actually following etiquette. And Mrs. Owner -- maybe check your lipstick before shouting at patrons, it was all over your teeth and cheeks. Bottom line: you ruined what should've been a fun round for my kids. We'll gladly play elsewhere.

Markley Grille was a real treat: homemade meatball sliders and fries were outstanding. Why eat a hot dog.....aye carumba ! Reading the reviews about ranger harassment was NOT the case. 9-minute tee time separation reminded me to keep our play brisk. The rangers DID make sure we had cool water on three occasions - even on the 17th hole. We fixed our ball marks and a few extras; raked the bunkers as well. One bunker was in bad shape; not sure why. My understanding is that the carts are tracked electronically. Any reminder to players about pace of play is not biased. One practice swing on the tee box will serve you well. The greens at BVGC are not that hard to read. No need to do that [stuff] seen on TV. To those players who had a less than positive experience: remember to do your part and enjoy golf as it was intended.
