We have been in a mini golf kick lately and had a chance to check Waltz out. They have two different mini golf courses, the farm and the castle. The farm is a little less challenging and costs $7. The castle has water features and costs $8. So far, we have only tried the farm, but intend to go back and try the other soon. The farm course was fun. Great for kids. Some of the holes were very cute and a few were pretty challenging. It is in need of some repair (hence 4 stars instead of 5). There are several planting boxes that have been left empty and some features that need some repair. We still enjoyed it though. Please note that there isn't very much shade in this course, so plan you visit according to how much sun and heat you prefer. In addition to mini golf, there is ice cream, a snack bar, batting cages and a driving range. Service was very friendly and there is plenty of parking. UPDATE: We went back and played the castle course. It is awesome! Really cool features and nice shady trees. Worth the extra dollar :) During COVID, you are asked to wear a mask inside the building and practice social distancing. The indoor snack bar is closed, but the walk up window is open and offers their full selection. There is a nice covered back patio where you can sit in the shade and use a picnic table read more

Waltz Golf Farm is a bit of an odd place, but we had fun playing Mini golf there. If I had to give this review a tile it would be a tale of two courses. The farm has everything you could look for in a golf place, two miniature golf courses, a driving range, and even a par three course. They also have batting cages and the oddest thing they have a gemstone mining setup that you see at amusement parks and zoos. There is also Ice Cream and drinks. The weird thing about the mini golf here is how different the course are from each other. Most places that have 2 mini golf courses, they may be themed different but they are normally pretty similar, The courses here do not share anything in common. So much so that I have to review the differently. The Farm Golf course is the older and more run down of the 2, The theme of this course is traditional farm, they have what i consider the classic style holes and layout, hit it thru the church, bank it off the block things like that. This course reminds me of the type that my grandpa would take me to when I was growing up. The flaw with this course is it pretty run down and not everything works as it is suppose to. Overall I would give this course on its own 3 stars. The Castle Golf course is the newer of the 2. This course reminds me of one you would see on the way to the beach, big buildings that get your attention, but not the most challenging course I have ever played. Everything on this course is in good shape and working order. This course cost a dollar more to play than the other course, but if you are only going to play one, I would do this one. Overall I would give this course 4 stars. The staff was friendly here, there is plenty of parking and the bath rooms were clean. I have no complaints about any of that stuff. Everything looked clean and there is plenty of space here so we never got too close to any other groups. Overall a above average place to play some mini golf, averaging the 2 courses together I would give it a 3.5, since I can't do that I will round it up to 4 stars. If you are in the area want to play a round or 2 of mini golf this is a good option. read more

I love this mini golf course! It had been a long time since I last went mini golfing and Waltz reminded me of how much I enjoy it! The course is cute, clean and lively making it a great place for a family outing. Although I saw many families there with their kids, I saw just as many couples so there's a good mix of customers. There is a farm and a castle course with a decent amount of obstacles at both. The second course mentioned is a dollar cheaper so prices are very reasonable. They also have snacks and treats available for purchase when you first walk in. I can't wait to go back here for a family outing in the future. I like the idea of doing something like this to get away from the usual family dinners! read more

Love that they have a par 3 course. The only one left in the area. Mini golf and driving range are nice too. Bring cash the older man at the counter hates the credit card machine. He comes off as grumpy but I think his beef is with the machine not you. read more

Well first of all, the gentleman at the counter was extremely rude for no reason whatsoever, secondly I don't know if they haven't updated the website in 30 years or if I missed it, but there is no rule that states that you must show up 45 minutes before closing to use the par 3. I love waltz but they can do better than this, I am very disappointed in the customer service and the information provided. read more

was looking for zebras but there were infact none. closest thing was a wood chicken statue. the ice cream was sub par unlike my golf skills. paid 4 dollars for the icecream and when being handed it, a clump was dropped by the employee and no discount was given for the lost amount. the course was nice but the castle was disappointing compared to disney. water is dyed but does not stain hands. floral arrangements around the farm are beautiful but non edible. overall 10/10 recommend and will be returning to look for zebras soon. read more

We decided to come back here because I remember it being one of the better mini golf courses we have played around the area. We decided to do the farm golf since we did the castle golf last time. The farm one is also $1 cheaper and less crowded. I generally enjoyed the course. I liked the different obstacles you have to go through in each course. The one hole had a farm house you have to shoot your ball through and it plays music when you get it in. Every hole had some obstacle or challenge to it, which I liked. I can't stand when I go to mini golf and it's a just a basic course with maybe a couple turns or hills on the greens and there's no obstacles or anything to make the hole fun. It could use a few updates however. If you are going to play the farm course, play while there's daylight. Once it gets dark at night you won't be able to see your ball because they don't really have much lighting on that side. The holes should also be deeper. A couple of times my ball went in the hole and popped out because there was 2 other balls in there. I was also kinda disappointed there was no free game hole. I did like the plinko type machine you use to return your balls though. My friends and I all put our balls in at the same time and raced each other. read more

I really like having a place like this in the area. I have played many rounds of mini golf in my lifetime, so having a place with two courses to choose from is a bonus. The courses however are not challenging. Sure when I played there in the late 80s the Farm course was fun. Then the Castle course was a big step up. Now they just seem to be very dated and not improved in any way. Yes they are maintained, just not improved. So I haven't been played there in 3 years. I do play the chip and putt. If you go at off hours it is very enjoyable as you can obviously take your time. Overall a solid place but nothing spectacular. The best feature is the location. read more

Everything else is good , butif you are looking for hitting baseball or softball the batting cages are terrible. The balls are constantly stuck or the machines are not working at all. Pitches are all over the place. Little to no help from staff to keep the balls being pitched. read more

Waltz is a great concept and has been doing a great job for years. However, this place is in serious need of some upgrades. Went there with my family on a Saturday night for mini-golf. We decided to play the Castle course (even though it was $1 more than the other course) and was disappointed by the shape the course was in. About half of the ground accent lights were out, and since the other lighting (driving range and the Farm Course) was too far away, we could barely see the holes or our balls as we played! Not to mention that most of the gimmicks that give you a hole-in-one did not work! Can't believe that they charge "extra" for that course. I met up at Waltz Golf Farm with a few girlfriends for a round of mini golf. We noticed a $1 price difference between the Castle course and the Farm course. We went with the Farm course simply because it was much less crowded at the time. It was a good time. The course was rather difficult but I'm no pro. We managed to keep seeing a small bunny hopping around. I'd like to go back for ice cream and the batting cages. read more

I've been coming to Waltz's for years. The employees have always been friendly. I usually play castle golf when I come because it's more advanced than the farm golf. Unfortunately, one of the holes that has two levels was clogged (they put a rock over the hole so people's balls didn't get stuck). We were still able to play the hole, but instead of having the choice of which hole we wanted to aim for, we kind of had to force it into the other hole that wasn't clogged. I also think that Waltz's is kind of pricey. It was $15 for the two of us for evening golf at the castle course. I feel for the price there should be more improvements on the holes as they are outdated. The ice cream is really good, but we opted to not get any because the line was long (it was a Saturday night after all). I hope to see improvements in the future. read more

Played golf here once, it was ok. BUT...... Their fireworks show is great every 4th of July. You are right in the action here, with 20 mins+ of explosions going off right over you. If you are in the area for any 4th, come here. You will enjoy it. Stop in here every so often with my son to hit up the batting cages. The machines are a little older and at times, my son has to wait a minute or so before another ball is pitched to him. Other than the slow turnaround time between pitches, the machines are fine. Bats and helmets are available or just bring your own. Helmets must be worn at the batting cages. Afterwards, we stopped in for some Nelson ice cream. They do put on a great fireworks show on the 4th of July, but getting in there is tough. We usually just watch them from Limerick Park. You miss some of the lower fireworks, but you can see the majority of them. Will likely try out the putt-putt one of these times. read more

Decent putt-putting on both of the courses (and prices are reasonable too). Stuff is fun without being overly corny or annoying. Waltz is a great fun center for the whole family. The kind you don't find much anymore in today's world of theme parks and iPad games. The 9-hole chip and putt is great. And you can drive golf balls off the pads or grass (as long as its not too soggy.) Come by for holiday fireworks, or to get your Christmas tree. What was really inexcusable is that we walked on a beautiful Wednesday evening in April just after 7 and saw that they had hours posted til 10:30pm. golf course is ok, it's green, but not a lot of care goes into the greens or bunkers. The range next to the golf course has to be the worst in the area. The mats are ripped, the balls are really old and cutup and not worth 10cents a bucket. Tee's Golf Range is light years better if you dont mind the drive. Hit golf balls here before going to Turtle Creek for a round, I like that they have a grass hitting area and the range itself was good. Other than that the customer service has been pretty terrible. I purchase a bucket of balls for 6.50 and had to use my card (unfortunately I did not have cash on me). I was charged for that, as well as another $26.00 which I am assuming is a convienience fee since I have tried to contact them several times and dispute my charge and have been unable to get anyone to respond. I will not be back even if it means going to the golf course without taking any swings before hand read more
