I was there for a birthday party. The laser tag and ninja course were pretty good, but almost everything in the arcade was broken! Not counting the machines that already had "out of order" signs on them, I had problems with all of these:
Deal or No Deal - There's a sign on the machine that says "$1.00 to play for 400 ticket jackpot or $2.00 to play for 800 ticket jackpot." Actually, $1 sets the jackpot at 200 and $2 sets the jackpot at 400 - half of what is advertised
Sea Wolf - no tickets came out even when they were earned
Big Haul - the game says 10 tickets for every coin in the truck bed, but it doesn't give you any. One person opened up the machine and checked to make sure there were tickets. I tried again, and still no tickets. I talked to another person working there and she just said, "I don't know what to tell you."
Big Bass Wheel - was giving no tickets. I talked to someone working there, and she refilled the tickets, so I got mine, but I know several kids before me just lost their money without getting the tickets they earned.
Gold Fishin' - you're supposed to get 12 ping pong balls to shoot, but the machine only had 11 in it. So once it said "Balls Remaining: 1", you just have to wait until it times out. losing out on any points that 12th ball would have given you.
Plush Bus (Claw machine) I put in my money, moved the claw forward, moved the claw back, and pushed the button. But the claw never lowered! It just took my money and gave me no chance to try to get anything. A little later they put an "out of order" sign on it.
Air Hockey - the edges of the table are bent, so rather than the puck bouncing off the wall, it sometimes just gets stuck under the "lip" of the table and stops. I guess it's still semi-playable, but really annoying.
Ice Ball (Skee ball) - I had 3 tokens left, so I decided to try Ice Ball (2 tokens). I put in 2 tokens and pushed start. Nothing happened. I put in my last token just in case one of the others didn't register, and pushed start. Still nothing. Money gone, no game - what an appropriate last game for the visit.
Ticket Station/Eater - 3 of the 4 ticket counters had "out of order" signs on them. I went to the only one that was working and put in 10 tickets. It gave me credit for 7. Then I put in 150 tickets, and it only counted 116 of them! So it's short changing everybody's ticket count by ~25-30%! I fed some more tickets into it (since there was no other option), and the machine broke! I had to take my tickets to the redemption station and have them weigh them instead.
I felt ripped off by the time I left, and it was too crowded to try to get an employee to fix most of the problems.
This could be a really cool place if they put the necessarily time into fixing and maintaining their games. read more
