I called to see if I could get my car towed from my house to the muffler shop. I called 3 times. Every single time I called they answered the phone I could hear talking, then immediately they hung up. read more

My car caught fire on a Thursday evening and Walton's showed up, the driver was cool, it took him no more than 45 minutes from start to finish. Since it happened in the middle of the street my lady and I started cleaning the mess up. I told the driver that we got it and he replied " I don't mind helping because the more I stay out here the less I have to do back at the yard". Friday after talking to my insurance I called Walton's to find out how much were the fees and the first guy that answered was rude and didn't know anything and put me on hold, then a lady came on and told me that it was $148 plus $38 for storage. Then she said call back at 4 and I'll give you the correct amount. So at 410pm I went up there and they where closed so what was the purpose of having me call back at 4 if you knew that you were going to be closed. Today "Saturday Morning " I go up there and they wanted to charge me $300 for three days of storage and the tow fee. First- how can you charge someone for another full day if they are there first thing in the morning, Secondly - The tow fee is $148, they charged an extra $30 for it going over 1 hour and 12 minutes. This is the reason why the driver didn't want to leave because he knew that an extra fee was going to be charge if he stayed "basically he set us up". So after pointing out what was going on they took one day of storage off, when I asked to get my belongings out of the car they let me go back there but I couldn't remove anything like my radio, which is my personal property, but since I signed the car over to them it then became there property. Something they don't tell you before you sign the papers, long story short. Don't let them take your car, use your AAA or insurance. If they do take it get your stuff out first and if you're getting your vehicle back! Go as soon as possible and don't let the driver hang around. This place makes there money off of little things because you at the mercy of them. They don't let you get anything out of the car after you sign the pink slip over! But they don't tell you that before you do it! Call back at 4! But they don't tell you that it's the time they close, of course it's to late by then and they get to add on another day! The driver wants to stay on scene for more than an hour because he knows that get them an extra 30 bucks. It's all scam to screw you and profit off of it! DO NOT use their services. They will quote you a price and then when they are going to lower your car, they'll increase the price. Do not trust these people. They are not trustworthy, disrespectful, and dishonest. They increased my price by $80. The person who towed my car was named Gary, who was on his personal cell phone having conversations while he was driving and towing my car. They should be shut down because they only want to rip people off. When I talked to the manager, he was rude and told his worker to push me out the car and take my car because I was refusing to pay the increased rate. read more

These are the biggest idiots ever! Unprofessional & big liars! I wish there was a negative star rating. My insurance company contacted them for a tow. They said they'd be here within 60 to 80 minutes. After 2hrs still no show. Twice during this interim I contacted the insurance company who indicated the driver stated ETA of 10mins. finally arrives 2 hours and 15 minutes later with the wrong truck I requested a flatbed. i told him that he had the wrong truck I needed a flatbed as I have a low profile custom car he made a phone call and then sped off. I contacted the insurance company , who confirmed a flatbed was order it said that she just talked to him and that they were bringing a flatbed and 10 minutes. No honestly I didn't believe this and I questioned her because it took him over two hours to come how is he going to go and return within 10 minutes with the flatbed she said that's what he assured her that they were local. 45 minutes later still no show ..called back to the insurance company, driver said that I never came out and that he never knew that I needed a flatbed,so they cancelled the service. Insurance company confirmed that a flatbed was originally requested at 11:27 & at 2 p.m. she confirmed that the driver told her that he was exchanging the truck. he now denied everything. Please do not do business with these people! I'm certain they won't be in business long read more

Worst customer service, they don't care, they are making money. Had my car stolen and they wanted the vehicle release for me to see it. They didn't need it, all they needed was my ID and registration. It says there according to the policy. I wanted an Itemized Invoice and Eric the employee said I had to pay first in order to see it, he thought I would use it for some reason, I just wanted to see the possible fee if I paid that day (for those who don't know what that is Google it). The old man and Eric were rude, specially Eric would get upset when people treated him the way he was treating customers. He didn't like it, I don't understand how he would expect a customer to like that. If you are going to pick your vehicle, record your conversation and take an officer if possible or someone that can help even if you have to pay them because they will play you around. Also, ask for images of how they found it and the specific location, go to that location and investigate. This review is not one star. Stupid yelp read more

terrible experience! i was involved in a accident and my insurance company paid for the daily fees. when i go to retrieve my items, i'm told that i cannot remove my 15 inch speakers w/amp, if its bolted down... luckily for me, it wasnt.. the old man walks me over to my car and i inquire about the basket so i can remove my speakers.. the old man instantly cops an attitude and states how the basket wouldnt fit in between the cars... okay, fine... so i ask of he can bring it towards the truck in front of my vehicle.. he goes on ranting about my speakers that i paid for.. i asked him.. what bmw comes installed with "2" 15inch speakers and a amp?!?.. i told him, i'm taking my speakers... i paid for them, my insurance is aware of what im removing, since its them and i, in contract, not walton towing... the old man starts cursing and i got pissed, because first of all, these items in the vehicle belong to me.. my personal items.. back away from me so i can do it without a person standing over "me" while i remove whats rightfully mine.. so i curse him back, and he tells me to deal with his boss.. glad my s/o was there because it could've gotten real ugly... the whole idea of them telling you what you cant remove from your personal vehicle, when its indeed still yours, didnt sit right with me.. the old man was rude and obnoxious and shouldn't be working because you never know what people can and will do to you at any and all costs... this tow yard wants you to keep your stuff there, so they can steal it before the insurance comes to retrieve the vehicle... yeah.. they saw a bmw x3 roll up in there with huge speakers... thinking they were going to keep it.. i thinks not!!! got my items and i will inform my insurance company of the unproessionalism they've displayed! stay away from this tow yard!!! read more

Mr.Don Walton, you are the owner, shame on you for you discourteous behavior and tone, especially in the manner to which you speak to women who simply inquiring about their vehicle and estimated cost in order to release. You exploit people who are at your mercy because you have their vehicle in your possession. Your level of understand is sub par at best. Instead of working with a person to resolve conflict, you choose to make a bad situation worse by misleading people and overcharging them by providing false information. I guess greed surpasses integrity when it comes to your business. A perfect indication of my accusations are the reviews you have received this far. read more

My vehicle got stolen in the city of Compton. It got towed to Waltons towing. When I arrived to get my truck out Eric give me a hassle on getting my truck back. They delayed me and gave me the runaround. I asked if I can use the restroom and when I did I looked in the window got to see my vehicle that a worker was going through my truck. When I asked him if there was anything in the back and he told me everything was cleared out ? how would he know what was in the back. I notice The hood was open I thought that was very strange when I got the truck back my new battery was gone that explains why my hood was open. I asked Eric about the missing battery he says he knows nothing but the expression on his face was like when you get caught . Since I physically did not see them take it out I don't believe them . these guys are crooks I also believe whenever the vehicle comes back in whatever condition these guys ransack it a second time . The bottom line he mentioned to me that the insurance should cover it this still does that not give them the right to salvage read more
