We were the unfortunate victims of car theft. When CHP found our car it was impounded here. From the first phone call to them regarding recovery to picking our car up they were professional and kind. Making a bad situation not so awful! Marvin was especially friendly and kind. He even got on the ground to look under our car to asses the damage done when the thrives stole our catalytic converter. The tow and impound fees were high but that is not their fault. They have them clearly posted and they do not set the amount. read more

Great service from Marvin. Since the moment we contacted him and up to the moment he helped us on the freeway with my car, he was very professional also didn't make us wait much. He was very friendly and made us feel safe even though it was past midnight in the middle of the freeway. Great customer service, would definitely contact them again! Walton Towing - He told me this car was trash and that he was gonna cut it into pieces.. - Towing Near Me - Compton, California

so we havent used them but one of their drivers tried to go down a small alley next to our house and got stuck. he nearly hit our house and fence as he blocked traffic for 10 mins trying to back out. when we called the company to complain we got told "that's not one of our trucks" and "don't get the police involved." and then HUNG UP. as of now they parked in the middle of the street and haven't moved from that spot continuing to block traffic 15 mins after the incident started. people are honking and having to go around the truck there was also someone else in the truck with the that didn't appear to work for the company which is just strange. read more

Marvin from Walton Towing was an absolute life saver. Very friendly, knowledgeable and quick to help. We were back on the road in no time after a dead battery. read more

First off, very rude customer service. Also, they are thieves. I was there today, 10/7/2024 with my cousin. His car was impounded by CHP on false allegations... 30 Day hold - $3740 to retrieve vehicle. My cousin and I from a close distant, counted the money he turned in... $3800 in cash to the receptionist employee. Immediately... "Oh. You still owe. You only gave me $3700." You CANNOT see through that window AT ALL even when close. Thus, from a law point of view, you are literally SOL. He ended up giving up another $100. People are already going through such financial hardships right now. If you have to pay anything in cash.... please have a witness... and RECORD the amount being handed. I hope that employee gets her karma. Such a sad world where people do that to others. read more

Marvin did an amazing job taking care of my vehicle and locating me as instructed. I was unable to move my car due to my vehicle having a flat tire. He hooked my vehicle with ease, safely and efficiently. He does his part which I'm sure makes up for most of the rude workers there. Some give all and all give some. I believe Marvin gives all in what he does regardless of how much time he has on. Keep up the great work. The company is lucky to have an employee like you. P.S. the dispatcher that I spoke to on Sunday 2/11 at around 11pm had nasty attitude and almost caused me to refuse service from company. But as I said earlier, lucky for those who receive help from Marvin. read more

We were pretty shaken up after our accident and Marvin not only took care of our vehicle quickly but made us laugh all the back home. 5 star rating to him for helping us get through what was a very difficult time. read more

Walton towing is prob the best towing co that I have dealt with over the years. They go out of your way to have you understand what the process is and leave no doubt in your mind that they will take care of you and your wheels. Office team goes beyond in customer service and provides prompt accurate assistance. They are my go to. read more

My niece had a tire blowout on the 110 at night. Marvin came and was a true hero. He called to double check our location, he gave clear instructions on how to stay safe. All on a very narrow stretch of shoulder. He put safety first and made sure my niece had a ride, since the tire place was closed. I'm definitely keeping his card for the future. 12/10, would recommend! read more

This place is HORRIBLE! 1. Customer service is horrible. You walk and the guys is rude and short. 2. They don't specify beforehand what papers is needed to take your car out. Make you waste time money 3. They charged for towing fee and storage fee even tho their policy clearly states you have 72hr to obtains your vehicle without a lien fee. I understand they need to charge the towing fee but we literally came the day after we were called (we would of came the same day but they told us that we needed to come the next day) and they still charged a storing fee of 2 days. Horrible! Don't come here read more

I witnessed something amazing tonight, it was a really rough night and Marvin took excellent care of my vehicle without putting so much as a scratch on the car. If I ever need a tow again in Compton, Marvin is the man to get. read more

Marvin from Walton Towing helped me out in a pinch, my triple A didn't want to send someone to my location for a battery jump, I had instead placed it for towing to maybe secure someone faster and I was lucky to find that Marvin took the call because most tow trucks dont want to just jump start your vehicle. However, Marvin went out of his way to ensure I was back on the road upon hearing my situation and came in a timely fashion. I definitely recommend Marvin from Walton Towing for all your towing needs, great attitude, fast response time, great sense of humor. Thanks again Marvin! read more

Marvin did a great job and is an even better guy!! thank you for the amazing service!

Amazing amazing service! Walton Towing came out right away to get our classic car to the mechanic. The driver took his time, made sure everything was secure, and that the car made it safely. When we called to request a tow, the lady who answered, I think her name was Erin, was very helpful and answer all of our questions with a smile (I could hear it through the phone)! They will definitely be my trusted tow yard form now on. NO DOUBT! read more

Marvin helped my niece out when her tire blew out on the 110. She was stuck on a really narrow stretch of the shoulder and he was able to get her car up on the flatbed, and move her to a safe location. Then when we didn't have the right wrench for the lug nuts on her rim, he let us use his. Thank you for helping us out! read more

Marvin helped me out with my car I was very pleased he tried to get it started but when it didn't start he towed me

Horrible experience. Like to waste your time resulting in multiple trips and more storage fees. Pray that if your car gets stolen it dosnt end up here, because they will kick you while you are down. read more

Horrible customer service my truck got stolen and I had to go get it from this place and you can't even see who are talking to cause the glass is 1 way only they can see you. I get there and they say you need proof of ownership well the proof is in the truck I told them and so they go check the glove box and bring a expired registration I said my tags are up to date this isn't the right one go check again well they did not want to. Then they say I must pay $222 to get it out I said why should I pay if my truck got stolen its not my fault. They don't care so I can't get my truck out today cause I don't get paid till end of week. They said if I had full coverage my insurance would pay but I only have liability. read more

I called my roadside service provider for a tow. The tow from my start to end location was just under 10 miles (included in my roadside) per the roadside customer service representative. The initial towing company that was requested came out, hooked up my car and tells me its 13 miles to your destination. You have an overage of 3 miles at $9 a mile. I kindly tell them that the roadside service provider said I am within my 10 mile tow. After that, I said forget it and unhook my car. That was a pretty shady bait n hook move. And their tow truck looked horrible. Called my roadside service provider and they connected me with Walton Towing in Compton. I was given a 60 minute window for pick up and went slightly over. Called my provider again for an update and they said it will be another 15 minutes. As soon as I hanged up, Eric from Walton Towing called me to apologize and said that he will be there soon. Very courteous as well. Shortly after, he arrived, loaded my car and delivered it to the destination location with no mileage hassle. Eric was very professional. A very positive customer service experience! And their truck was clean. read more

Great timing and polite drivers. They have up to date flat bed trucks. I called because my car was running hot, and they were there in 15 min! GREAT JOB WALTONS TOWING read more

What a horrible service OMG the girl who answered the phone sounds straight up ghetto and rude. Don't want to release my car to my insurance. Even though my insurance is the only ones who have my policy number and certain information to verify it. She said thats not how it works. During covid 19 their policy to release someone car should be more professional rather than driving there personally to sign a paper. I swear.... I should have waited on the freeway for my insurance road assistance rather using Walton towing. Please don't use their service read more

Stolen items from vehicle ridiculous prices . Absolutely thiefs would not recommend at all

Came here to write something nice and see so many bad reviews. You know, having your car towed will not put you in the best of moods. I imagine the experience soured some people. It happens. The receptionist is lovely and considerate. The other employees all seem to get along like a family. Everyone wore masks. Great people, so here's a good review. Hope they'll be getting more. read more

Horrible customer service! My father's old truck was stolen, and lucky for us this tow place picked it up. Not only did they have it in their possession for 3 days, they also charged us those 3 days to get it out. Thanks for contacting us or the police in a timely matter. We were told that we need registration paper work, which was in the glove compartment to pick it up. The worker said he check and it wasn't, but what did we find when we picked it up? You guessed it. Hope you don't get towed by them, especially if someone stole your car. read more
