Don't go here. Came in for an "oil change" amongst other things (which I already knew wasn't going to be able to get fixed here) left with a car that was shaking very bad, started turning itself off, have fluids spilled ALL over the engine, and after having someone else look at the car (within 10 hours of picking it up from here if not less) oil was missing severely, so what did you guys really do???? Called and there was no apology for anything as if they "didn't" do anything and tried telling to bring it back but they were going to still charge me. Absolutely not! Go elsewhere this place will rip you off those other comments were right. I gave a 1star review because I can't leave negative stars. Took my truck in to check on an issue that it had when the truck was cold. They diagnosed the truck and said it was a cam shaft sensor issue. They did not give me a call that day so I went in the afternoon the next day. When I arrived they said they would only charge me for the diagnostic because now they said I had to overhaul the motor, so they "didn't touch my car". Paid for the diagnostic and got the keys to leave since nothing "nothing was done to the truck". Got to the truck, battery was dead. Jump started the truck and it started shaking , rpm's dropped and it shut off. Now the truck doesn't turn over. I drove the truck in and now had to tow it out. Don't go here the just mess up your auto. read more

Honest, amazing price, lady over the phone priced everything before hand and actually followed up with a call back unlike many other places. I wanted to change all 4 brakes with rotors but they told me I didn't need to. All I needed was pads. I appreciated that. They also had them repair my power steering. Great unbeatable price, no pressure to do anything. Will return in the future. read more

Don't come here if you don't want to get ripped off!! Horrible service!! I went to get an alignment on my tires. After, they told me that I have to fix 7 parts of my car because it's salvage. So, I decided to fix those 7 damaged parts and I spent over $1,000. When I picked up my car the next day, I noticed that my car was shaking and was making loud noises my car had never made before. This is my 4th time taking my car back so they can check it and fix the problems and they don't do anything. All they say is that my car Is salvage, which I know it is and I've been having it for 4 years and my car has never given me issues like this. I paid a lot of money so they can fix my car not so they can leave my car like shit. They don't want to admit that they fucked up my car. I'm never coming here again! read more

I have been taking my vehicles here for years, I Oscar and his wife go above and beyond my expectations. I have taken my car and asked for a complete brake job when I picked it up, the bill was much less than I expected. Oscar told me that my car did not need what I asked him to do and he did not want me to waste my money. I had gotten into an accident where my front and rear right tires were pretty much destroyed, and my car was unmovable (started, but axles and stuff were bent and broken). I stopped by and showed them a few photos of what my car looked like, and they quoted me the cheapest of all of the locations I checked out. So I towed my car over and let them take care of it. It was originally going to take about 5 days, but it ended up taking around 6.5. Not a big deal to me, my car was in bad shape and I wanted them to do a good job. I got my car back and it worked great; but it should be noted that they did just enough work to get my car working... It still needs more work before its 100% (I was clearly told this beforehand). Overall, the service was good, their estimate was close to the final price, and I'm glad my car is working now. I knocked off 1 star because communication could be a bit better. You have to be a little pushy to get noticed while you are there, or else they will overlook you. read more

I live in Riverside and work in Irvine, yet this is my go-to Auto shop! The owner/auto tech and front desk offer good customer service. What keeps me coming back? They look for the best deals on parts replacements and their repair costs are beyond reasonable. They are always accommodating, even though their lot is small and we all want our car fixed "now". This auto shop told me once that (a specific) repair should be done directly at the dealer. (It was a luxury car with authentic car parts). This may lead one to think, "ugh, how inconvenient!". I thought: I appreciate the honesty - if you can't do it, for whatever reason, I'd rather you tell me than charge me for bad service (which likely results in additional auto repair vi$it$), and charge me an arm and a leg! I have recommended this shop to my son, sister, and Dad and will continue to recommend. read more

Won't come here again. They rip you off for parts. They charged me $17 dollars per spark plug, which is almost 50% mark up just for parts. The Average spark plugs you can get for 8 to 10$. This place is overpriced and not honest. They also charged me 140$ for 1 ignition coil when they should be 120 for a set of 4 coils. I don't recommend coming here if you want to be charged extra for something I could of done myself, I just don't have the time and space to do so anymore. read more

So... I wasn't going to say anything about the grease that was left all over the inside of my car (seriously, all over the driver side door panel and even on the seat) because overall it was a great experience... UNTIL I was driving my car back to the Bay Area Sunday July 31st, and got as far as Modesto before the NUT FELL OFF OF THE RIGHT FRONT AXLE THEY HAD REPLACED. I could have lost my front wheel while driving on the freeway, all those miles coming home. At average speeds of 70-80mph on I-5, this could have proven fatal. Driver beware. read more

I love taking my cars to this guy he is very professional and honest and beats all prices around California and ofcourse in Arizona. I live in Peoria Arizona now for about 6 years but I still go to Jimenez Brake shop to get my brakes done and other things like shocks and struts the prices are half of what they charge here in AZ and better brand of parts. My parents refer me to him when I lived in Bell Gardens and I would not go anywhere else after then. I have had my brakes done on my two vehicles and have had no problems and they last a lot longer than when I had serviced them elsewhere. NOT PLEASED . . . Went in for a simple brake fluid flush. I had ALREADY done the brake adjustments on my own prior to going there and my brake PEDAL was HARD, not spongy! Now, after Jimenez Brake's serviced it, the brake pedal travels completely to the floor. I have to double pump the pedal to get any kind of pressure. NOT GOOD! I simply wanted CLEAN fluid for my own peace of mind. I spent over 2 hours; watching the entire time, while these "brake" mechanics bled the brake system multiple times. I started to wonder why they were pumping the pedal for so long without checking the brake "Master Cylinder" reservoir for fluid. They went through this process 3 times. REALLY? The Master Cylinder was COMPLETELY DRY the entire time. There was no pressure in the pedal at all because of. Hello? Then they tried to tell me that it's a locked up wheel cylinder in the front? Again, I had JUST done an adjustment prior to taking it in and everything was working fine. I simply wanted to flush the FLUID to ensure fresh, clean brake fluid. When I "fact checked" the mechanic, he then tells me it's a bad MC. REALLY? Why were the brakes working "SPOT ON" before you touched them? I asked him to double check the "MC" again for "FLUID" and it was bone dry empty; equals, - AIR INTO THE BRAKES LINES! This means NO PRESSURE at the pedal. ??????????? They NEVER got them right in the end and I now have to do them myself again; just like I did prior to going there to begin with. I was also then told the pedal link was badly worn which is why I had MORE play in the pedal. WOW, REALLY? I had that rod double-checked on my way home with another shop and that pedal link was FINE! Zero issues! The kicker; they tried to increase the service FEE to DOUBLE after all of this. In addition, they left the ignition key in the "ON" position the entire time they were flushing "AIR", not "FLUID", out of the system. This drained my battery down to where it needed to be jump started. None of this was going to FLY! I will never again take my vehicles to them. Sad thing is, I was a regular customer. This didn't seem to matter at all. All this was a simple job for a simple vehicle. WOW! What was I thinking? Additionally, I did not appreciate the mechanics attitudes when they realized I knew a little something about BRAKES, how they work and questioning the work done. Not a good experience at all! . . . All i can say Beware!! I called to ask if they change some brakes on my BMW 328i owner advised me to take it in just buy the brakes & sensor from the dealer & would only labor $85. So i took the brakes and left it so they can change the brakes. Went to pick up my car. He says that the light sensor will turn off as i drive the car for a while. I go drive the car light never turned off. Called to let them know it didn't go off, and i was advised by BMW dealer they would need to reset the brake light. He advised me to take it back the next morning. I take it the next morning the owner's wife tries to do it herself, and she tells me she's not able too. The owner tells me they can't and i have to take it to the dealer. Wow!! I asked him if he's going to reimburse part of my money bc service was not completed and done probably. He tells me he finished his part of changing brakes. So i take it the dealer and they charge me $180 & guess what the dealer told me, that the person who changed the brakes never connected the sensor. So i spend $400 in everything. I am never going back again. Dishonest, and thieves. read more

NOT GOOD AT ALL VERY DISAPPOINTED. They put a good front but once they mess up and you go back to rectify the problem they give you the run around. My car was sitting in their shop for 4 days telling me the same thing over and over, "We are still looking for the problem." I asked for the manager or owner and they say his not there.
