They charged me for things they didn't even do. The ridge was crooked and on a 25 yr old roof, they didn't replace any of the plywood so the rug was wavy. They'd show up late (or not at all), fail to send me the quote, or not respond when I contacted them. Academy was very responsive. It did take them a while, they were probably 2 months behind when I called so I had to wait for a quote. But it turns out there was a reason for that, they do good work and are busy. I had great communication with them from everyone I talked to along the way, from the scheduler to the sales guy, all of them followed up after the job was done to see if I was happy. They were able to do the job in 2 days (could have been one but they ran out of shingles the first day), and did a great job on clean up. I was a little worried, cause it's a very messy thing to have done, but they got just about everything picked up. I've had a lot of work done to my house in the past year, and I was impressed by this company. I would definitely hire them again for a roofing project.
