The store is located in The Walpole Mall with Old Navy, PetSmart, Barnes & Noble, Aspen Dental, and so many other stores. There are plenty of parking spaces. When I walked into Wines & More, I was surprised by how big the store was. It was very organized. On the left is The Gourmet Shoppe with dips and spreads, snacks, and other items. On the right and throughout the store, you'll find wine, spirits, beer, cider, mixers, and so much more. All the aisles are labelled. I came in looking for a particular Prosecco and I had checked on their website prior to make sure it was in the store. A staff member came up to me asking if I needed assistance. I showed him a picture of what I was looking for and he seamlessly bought me to it. I was so happy because I've been looking for it for a while. I will definitely be coming back to Wines & More in the future. The prices are reasonable.

Palumbo Liquors is located in the same plaza as the Big Y, directly on Rte 1. There are several…read moreliquor stores in the vicinity but this one stands out for several reasons. The selection of liquor, wine and beer is enough to satisfy anyones needs, their prices are low and the staff are very helpful. They stock a variety of makes of rum, vodka, gin, tequila, etc as well as their own labels. On a recent trip I cam across Boru Vodka and Trader Vics Spiced Rum and enjoyed them both. I've tried some of the Palumbo label items such as the vodka and it is about what you'd expect from a discount brand. I think the vodka and rum selections contain the most brands. The beer selection runs the gamut from crap to premium and they have several micro-brews off to the left side of the main coolers. The bottle return is quick and unlike some other places they don't treat you like a second class citizen for bringing back your empties. The only issue I discovered was one micro-brew for sale that was 8 weeks past its stated good date. That was in the dry storage area of the store in the back by the returns. I've never had an issue drinking a beer past this date but since I never had this particular brand I wasn't going to start. The one beer they have to stop selling is Landshark, which is just terrible! I'm not much of a wine person but each time I go there I always see people with 3 or 4 bottles in their carts. I leave the wine selections up to my more refined friends. They are not open on Sundays so go there on a Saturday to stock up for the Pats games.

Good sandwiches C…read moreScott's Beer Wine & Deli in Walpole, MA, is a decent, middle-of-the-road choice for a quick lunch. On the positive side, the convenience of a dual liquor store and deli right on Route 1 is undeniable, and their made-to-order sandwiches--like the popular Buffalo Chicken Caesar wrap and the fresh chicken salad--are genuinely flavorful and hit the spot. However, the experience falls short of great because the convenience store atmosphere is entirely no-frills, meaning it is strictly a takeout operation with nowhere comfortable to sit and eat. Additionally, food service can occasionally lag during peak lunch rushes, and prices feel a bit steep once you add chips and a drink. It is a perfectly acceptable, functional spot to grab a bite if you're passing by or heading to a nearby game, but it might not be a place you go out of your way to visit. Thanks

Then Covid hit and I lost track of the gift certificate until March of 2022 when I redeemed it online (Note that the gift card has an expiration date of December 17, 2026 printed on it). When the shipment of wine and other items never showed up, I tried to contact VINOvations many times by phone, email, and online to no avail for many months. Finally, I did receive a reply thru their website in that they were looking into the issue, but they never replied again even after I pinged them several times. It now looks like my employees' thoughtful $450 gift was basically stolen by VINOvations. However, I will continue to write to them in an effort to resolve the matter, and I will continue to write bad reviews until it is resolved! Based on my experience, I would say that this is a business that everyone should stay away from!
