Paint damage on drivers side door edge.
    Albert L.

Okay, I gave the Walnut Hand Wash the benefit of the doubt last week after having my 2013 F150 washed and realizing when I got home that there was two paint chips on my trucks paint. A small chip on the edge of the drivers side door and another on the lower bed panel on the drivers side as well. I chalked it up to normal wear and tear, even though I am probably one of the most meticulous people when it comes to my vehicles. Well, today I just got home from having my truck washed again and wouldn't you know it, there are two more paint chips in my paint. The first one is located on the lower section of the drivers side door and the second on the lower section of the passenger side door. It's pretty disappointing to say the least considering that I haven't even owned my truck for more than a year and there is already paint damage, because of carelessness. I should have done myself a favor and inspected my truck before I left the car wash today, but being the nice guy that I am, I tipped the car wash employee and drove off. I always thought the people that would inspect their vehicle from top to bottom after having it washed were rude and inconsiderate, but I guess you have to do that to ensure that there is no damage after the fact. I called and left a message informing Walnut Hand Wash what has occurred and will give them the opportunity to make it right. I will update this review if and when I am contacted by an employee. **UPDATE** It has been a week since I have informed Walnut Hand Wash of the paint damage they caused to my truck. I have not received any follow up from an employee, so my review will stand. Take my advise and if you care about the paint condition on your vehicle... Inspect your car after it is washed, or just avoid this car wash. It is obvious that the employees who are washing cars inside the wash bay are not taking precaution when opening the vehicles doors as noted by the photos I have posted.

When my car is dirty, it's dirty. I forget to give it it's TLC it deserves. So, I spend a few extra bucks to come here! Expect to wait because this place takes their time. There's plenty of waiting areas and free wifi! Grab one of those get 10 washes, get one free.

Best car wash ever. Prices start at $14.95 for basic car wash (SUVs extra) and can go up to $100+ for detail work. They do a fabulous job here, even if you only ordered their most basic wash. It is almost as if it had been detailed. The workers here like to spend their time and they are very meticulous! I have spent the same amount of money for an automated car wash elsewhere.. and have had half the effort and time put into cleaning the car. I drive the extra 15 mins together here because I know the owner/manager (nice lady with the ponytail and visor) and her staff will not disappoint. Bring a book or something to entertain yourselves because it's worth the wait!

I came back to my car, there were visible, black markings/smudges all around the car. My boyfriend and I went back to clean each of them which took about 5 minutes each. (Sorry no pic cause I was so pissed) Went to the back, trunk and back bumper were so wet still - had to wipe that down also. What pissed me off the most was they spilled something on the drivers seat!! (See attached photo) luckily, I had a leather cleaner but honestly, very unprofessional. They also air dried the Windows leaving water marks. Overall, I left the car wash super annoyed. I'm giving them two stars rather than one because I believe the people here are nice and super hardworking. The interior clean is thorough but I'm PISSED about my seats. Also, they clearly don't have enough people working and should think about expanding since there's so many car owners willing to give them business. If you have an hour & a half to waste, then go ahead, come here. Tips: try going in the morning on a weekday. Or else you'll end up waiting forever. Be aggressive when trying to pay. You really have to flag Maria down or else you will NOT be serviced. I've came and left several times for this reason. Not a great system in place!

They told me there were 3 different prices to choose from. I selected $19 one and she took care of everything; pushing buttons and whatnot. It is a self service lot, so the car ports were all full. I saw people bring their own cleaning supplies and utilized the car ports to detail their vehicle. I didnt want to wait for a spot to open so I left. I thought it was painless and easy to understand. The only part that kinda gave me anxiety was at the end. It didnt really tell me when to put my car back in Drive, but I put it in drive as soon as the last machine went passed my visualization and felt a bump. If I were to add a suggestion, give us a sign when to out the car back in Drive.

At the pay area, there was no one manning it so I just got out of my car and started pushing selection. By the time I was paying someone came out to basically release the receipt and hand it to me. No biggie. Drove to the entrance and someone was there as I was having trouble getting to neutral (I don't use it often really, if at all). Seamless experience on the wash. That is until the end, I wasn't sure when to switch to drive so just kept an eye out on the signage & when car was released from the conveyor belt. The vacuum, drying area was a bit of a conundrum - with this being my first visit. There were 2 spaces available. So your luck and timing just pretty much had to be just right to secure a spot. Person to our left was busy scrubbing their matts and looks like they brought 3-4 gallons of water. They were pretty aggressive on scrubbing and splashed some soapy water on our area and driver side. It was very soapy. But the hero of the day, the free clean towels available to wipe the car. Noticed the car wash wasn't great tho, lots of spots still stuck to the car. Considering that I paid $16 so what can I really complain about. We spent about 20 min drying the outside and using our own car wipes for the inside. The free Vacuum worked well. At this point noticed a couple of cars were waiting for an opening and a huge suv drove and parked in front of an already waiting sedan. Wow, the audacity of some people extends to car wash drying was just either laughable or downright low. Overall it was ok experience. One star off because of the wait for drying area (not really me but seeing all the cars waiting for an opening). Another star off because I felt our car wash not fully clean - but debatable if we opted for the $19 wash. Their bonus was the free clean towels to use afterwards. And by the way, when we were pulling out, three more cars were waiting and the neighbor washing his matts was still busy doing whatever. I'm pretty sure he was there at the very least an hour, totally hogging the space. Unfortunately no photos were taken at this visit. Kind of on the fence on coming back, but will probably try one more time, and do the $19 wash.

I didn't notice the instructions until after I had already tried to pay. It kept asking me to enter a code, which I had no idea about at first. After reading the instructions, I realized you're supposed to enter code 12 (I think). In the end, I just inserted my credit card, and the payment still went through. I chose the Deluxe Wash for $10, which included a body shine and tire shine. The wash itself did a decent job cleaning the outside of my car. However, there weren't any vacuum stations, air dryers, or towels available to wipe down the interior or dry off the exterior. My car was still covered in water spots when I left, so I ended up driving around for a few extra blocks, hoping the airflow would help dry it off. It was still a little wet when I parked. Overall, it's a convenient option if you're nearby and just need a quick, inexpensive exterior wash. Don't expect the extras, but it gets the basic job done.

I know this gas station recently remodeled their car wash, so I decided to give it a try, but it isn't that great compared to other gas station car washes I've been to. Vacuums cost $1.50 extra, while some places have free vacuums. I think I paid $8 for the Express Wash.

Car Wash: This gas station does offer a car wash service, but be prepared -- there's almost always a line of cars waiting. If you're in a hurry, this isn't the place for a quick wash. Gas Pumps: The touch-less card readers at the pump rarely work, which means you'll often end up walking inside just to pay. Not the most convenient setup when you just want to fuel and go. Inside the Store: The inside experience is hit-or-miss. There's usually a line, and the staff take their time helping customers. The most frustrating part? When you finally find something to buy, they sometimes can't scan it into their system. I've had items scanned multiple times only for the register to reject them completely. Imagine waiting in line, finally reaching the counter, and then being told you can't buy the product because of a store error. Overall: While the location is convenient, the constant lines, unreliable card readers, and store system issues make this gas station more of a last-resort stop than a go-to. When I went to park to vacuum, I noticed the machine actually did not do a good job of drying most of my car. Luckily I had a microfiber towel in my trunk and in which I had to give it a good sweep. Side note, these vacuums were one of the strongest vacuums I've ever used in any drive through car wash. It was so strong I accidentally sucked up one of my USB cables straight from its port and couldnt retrieve it back. Might have been more of my fault though for not paying attention to where I was vacuuming. Be warned for your small and loose items. Overall, not the best drive through car washes I've been to.
