Unfortunately most of the tables were dirty from previous diners. I got a chicken tender basket and my partner got the chicken club sandwich. I was looking at his sandwich and feeling pretty disappointed with my chicken tenders. The sandwich was amazing! Bacon was cooked in house, not flimsy microwave bacon. The bread is also baked fresh daily. You can add any toppings to your sandwich. I'll admit, I was disappointed in the cheese curds. The "basket" was really just a bowl with about a dozen little nuggets. They were fine, but nothing to write home about. Many diners were eating the hot open face roast beef sandwich. I have also heard their breakfast here is phenomenal. We were happy to support local and enjoyed our food. We'll drop by again for sandwiches the next time we're in Marshall.

We tried to be polite but it was not reciprocated. Her behavior made it where we ate the subpar food quickly as to try to leave since it was clear that she didnt want only our table there.

First off, the ribs are some of the best I've had! The food is delicious, the prices are reasonable, and you get to enjoy a great atmosphere without feeling like you're breaking the bank. It's the kind of place where you can sit back, relax, enjoy a great meal, and actually have a good time. What makes this place even cooler is its history. The building was formerly the iconic Hollyhock Ballroom, giving it a unique story and character you just don't find everywhere. There's something special about a local establishment that carries on the history of a small town while giving people a new reason to walk through the doors. Great food, fair prices, a welcoming environment, and a little piece of Minnesota history all in one place. You really can't ask for much more! Support your local businesses, folks. Places like this are what make small towns special. I'll definitely recommend Hatfield Roadhouse to anyone looking for great ribs and a memorable dining experience!
