Great burger with the best sweet potato fries I've ever had. Wonderful atmosphere and service. Will be eating here anytime I'm in the area.

We stopped here before venturing to Pipestone National Monument. The sign said chicken wild rice soup and Bacon Hot honey cheeseburger as features. That is what I ordered. The bathrooms were very clean, soup was flavorful and burger was very well seasoned. I ate 2 bites of tge bun then ate the burger with a fork. Save those awful carbs! Service was real good. I shared a few of my husband's fries and they were also seasoned well. Definitely recommend! read more

Great dinner at Stonehouse. We sat ourselves into a booth in the back. Our server was promptly at our table taking our order. We asked her what was good and she said everything. We asked her what they are noted for and one response was the pork medallions so that is what I ordered. It came with a side salad and choice of side, of which I chose mashed potatoes. It was delicious. The medallions had a nice crispy coat of bacon surrounding juicy pork. Potatoes were creamy with the little red skins mashed in. Salad was fresh veggies. Loved my meal. Prices were very reasonable. Found a parking spot on the street near the front door and it looked like there may have been a lot in the back. Great experience. read more

After visiting Pipestone National Monument, six of us went to the Stonehouse & Quarry Supper Club for lunch. The restaurant has a very spacious interior, including a room that holds 60 patrons for parties and presentations. We had a variety of lunch items, three burgers with different sides (French fries, sweet potato fries and a cup of creamy wild rice soup). The creamy wild rice soup was delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I had the hot roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and carrots. The sandwich had 2 quarter inch thick slices of beef (very tender) inside and was covered with gravy. The meal brought back many memories from my youth in Pennsylvania. I always loved that menu item, minus the carrots. Our waitress was very friendly and efficient. read more

We were in the area on a little anniversary trip and stopped there for dinner to celebrate our 44th anniversary. We had excellent service and great food and the atmosphere is very comfortable and clean. There's outdoor seating as well and lots of space. Would recommend this place! read more

We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon while in town visiting Pipestone National Monument. We ate in the Quarry Lounge side of the establishment since the Supper Club wasn't open yet. When I saw Chislic on the menu, I had to google it since It's not a common item on menus back in Kansas City. After ordering and eating a plate of Chislic, I'm a fan. I'm not sure why this isn't a common dish everywhere. Small pieces of steak, seasoned and fried. I love that it's pre-cut into bite-able chunks, no need for a knife! The bbq sauce that accompanied it was more of a tangy marinade - perfect. Texas toast and great fries made for a delightful lunch and a new food experience for me. My buddy had a French Dip that was very good. Nice ambiance, adequate service and great food. read more

This is the most amazing place. I am in Pipestone, MN, population 4500 and feared I had no place to eat. what a find- Stonehouse!! The menu has all the variety you could want! The Staff is so attentive and field with a desire to make you visit a great experience. And finally, the owner JoAnn Wolff is the most incredible you woman I have met, besides my daughter of course. Through her, I got to know this very small community and recognized that small communities do great things. This is the worst place I've ever been to. I'm writing this review as I'm still waiting for my food. We got here at 6:30pm. It's now 8:12 pm and we still haven't gotten our food. I'm visiting this town from minneapolis with friends. It's took 35 minutes to get us seated and it wasn't even busy. We still haven't had food, drinks, no check backs. It took 45 minutes for us to get our salads. I'm afraid to even eat what is coming out because it been almost 2 hours. I've had bad service before, but this is THEEE WORST in the WORLD!!!! I will be coming to this city a lot in the near future, but I will make sure, I will NEVER, come to this place, tell my friends about this place or support HORRIBLE PLACE. We ate there on Saturday evening. They were pretty busy and I was pleased that the service was prompt and attentive. My patty melt and sweet potato fries were hot and delicious. the food took forever to come out. it took the server forever to get me a refill they had ketchup that went bad so i had to go and get a different bottle, and the bottle exploded in my friggin face. my fries came out cold and the chicken wrap wasn't the best tasting thing in the world i would not recommend.: then my burger had just a wet bun when i got it. read more

We've eaten here twice this summer. The salads and sandwiches have been delicious and fresh each time. The service was not fast which allowed time for leisurely meals. The servers were friendly and were quick to refill our drinks. The restaurant is clean with room for safe distancing between tables and hand sanitizers at the entrances. read more

They deleted my review! Classy. 20 minutes to get drinks. Asked for a manager cause one of the servers were stuffing his face with a nice steak while our drinks are sitting there waiting for someone to bring them to us. This happened in the front of house, u should never eat where the customers can see u and at least wash your hands before u serve us our drinks. The manager said she will make it right. Ordered around 7 got our food around 805. The burger wasn't anything special! Definitely not worth 11.00.... no discount given. Will not return. Beautiful place but needs new management. read more

We set the bar low, but they went lower. Why call yourself a supper club? Bad sports bar is more like it. Had the Pipestone original burger thinking they're promoting the town, must be good. Asked us how would you like it cooked--medium. Took 1/2 hour to come and it was burnt. Had a side of soup that didn't come. Decided to try the Stonehouse for lunch...let's just say we were underwhelmed. We were greeted immediately and seated quickly. Down hill from there. Ordered a Margarita, glass of water and app of Onion Rings ($8.00). The waitress returned to tell us that this new restaurant does not have Margarita Salt. She asked if minded no salt?? Just a note there is a liquor store less than a mile away that has the salt on the shelf. About 15 mins later our Onion Rings (8 small rings) showed up. We ordered the Pulled Pork sandwich with the Bake Potato soup and the Patty Melt and Beer Cheese soup. Soup arrived about 20 mins after the 8 Onion Rings. Bake Potato soup was way over cooked "Mush", Beer Cheese soup was Fantastic the best thing we were served. Food arrived about 45 mins after being ordered. The Pulled Pork sandwich was barley warm but tasted great, didn't need the accompanying BBQ sauce. The Patty Melt was delivered to the table as a Plain Hamburger. I pointed out that I had ordered Patty Melt. The waitress quickly took the hamburger away and delivered the Patty Melt. It was as the menu described with the exception of taste. The burger had no flavor at all. At the end of this experience we were greeted by a young man that I can only assume was a member of management. He asked about our experience, we shared exactly what I have shared here. He stated that the Onion Rings are proportioned; the portion (8 Rings) is to small or the price is to high($8.00). No salt for the Margarita, small portion of Onion Rings, over cooked Soup, lukewarm Pulled Pork, wrong food delivered to the table and a Patty Melt with no flavor. We will try this restaurant again but you can't redo First Impressions. Our First Impression was Two Stars. The member of management said he would address all of the issues. Tried this restruant for the 3rd time today, Father's Day. Bad idea! My first experience was good. Great Patty Melt and service. Second visit was not good. Burger was over cooked and tasteless. Decided to go on Fathers Day and try their "fine dinning". We waited for our food for an hour and a quarter before deciding to leave. The manager was called so she could take the food off the bill. She didn't ask why we were leaving nor did she seem to care. She simply charged us and we left. The greeter was very apologetic and sweet. Manager didn't give a crap. I have been to the restaurant a handful of times and only 1 time can I say I had great food and service. Last night put me over the edge. My family and I walked in to celebrate something special to us and we had a party of about 12 we got seated - ordered drinks and waited for these drinks for at least 25 minutes. We finally complained when we noticed the guy working behind the bar was stuffing his face with what looked like a steak supper - while he was doing this he was serving drinks. We were told by the manager that she would make this right with us....we entered the restaurant at about 630-645 we didn't leave until 830-845 and we were not satisfied with service or food. The bread that came with my chislic which I had to pay $2 extra for that and fries tasted like cardboard my fries seemed soggy which getting them at 8:00 at night should not have been and my chislic was not all that hot. I had ordered a second drink which I never received. I was ready to be done with this place but then it seems we waited forever for our bill to pay. I don't feel like anybody made anything right with us. read more

While the general crowd would agree that the ambience is aesthetically pleasing, unfortunately, that is the only positive remark I have to say about this place. Having spoken to others about their own personal experiences, the common theme to this establishment is their abysmal wait-time. Prior to my party's arrival, I scanned the area and only noticed three groups including ours. My group ordered fairly simple meals, such as burgers, chicken fingers, kid's meal (slider, fries and macaroni and cheese). We waited over an hour and 15 minutes to finally receive our food! Unbelievable! Certainly, I would be more understanding if they were busy. However, from what many locals and close family/friends have mentioned, this has been an on-going issue. If you appreciate waiting an eternity for mediocre food with passable customer service, this is place for you. Unfortunately, I will be dealing with better services elsewhere. For this establishment to understand how alarming serious this concern is, to paraphrase the locals, "I don't know how long they'll last as a business." read more

We celebrated an anniversary at the Stonehouse and it was a very pleasant dinner. My medium rare ribeye steak was tender and grilled perfectly and my husband's shrimp met his standards. Our cheerful waitress was attentive to us throughout our stay. We were in and out in barely over an hour. It is wonderful to have this quality of supper club in Pipestone again and we encourage others to give them a try. We look forward to returning and trying items from the burger/sandwich menu next time. read more

My husband and I have used Yelp for years and have eaten in many different establishments in a variety of places. This my first review. The service in this place is so horrible I felt compelled to write a review. We walked in for early dinner with only five other parties in the establishment. The Hostess who seated us was nonverbal and unfriendly. We waited almost fifteen minutes after being seated for someone to take our drink order after handing us a menu and another ten to fifteen to get water. We ordered salads and a few appetizers but waited over 50 minutes for our meals. No water refills until we were almost done. Our waitress was pleasant. Food was good and atmosphere nice. However none of that was good enough to ever consider walking into this place again. It's too bad because Pipestone could use a few more nice places to eat. The service at the pizza place across the street is 100% better than here. read more
