This is a pass for me. Inside was cool looking and modern but service and food was disappointing. We were on vacation and made a reservation for dinner via OpenTable. Service was friendly but so slow and my steak was undercooked from the requested temperature but the waiter didn't come back till the end so just ate it. The side a salad I ordered even came late and just a few minutes before the steak. The Wild Mushroom Chicken had hardly any mushrooms on it as too. Upon getting the check my pen didn't work and I never saw the server again. After many minutes I finally went to the bar and borrowed one from the bartender. Roughly $90 with food and drinks before tax and tip and would have expected more. Across the board this was a miss for me and was incredibly disappointed. Oh, they do not disclose it upfront or on the menu but they charge a Non-Cash Payment fee. Mine was $2.70 on my bill but seriously consider this unnecessary and business should understand it as a cost of doing business. Well I don't live in the area, but aside from that based on experience, service, and food taste I won't be back.

The service was good, the food was delivered quick. 3 pieces of flavored chicken and a baked potato done perfectly.

They automatically charge you an extra 3% service charge for using your credit card. Just increase the price on the menu and no one will complain about your "Non-cash payment fee". The owners need to stop with the money grab. You have how much less shrinkage and spending with credit cards versus cash. Credit card fees are the cost of doing business. #DumbBusinessDecisions Also the waitress was nice but didn't seem to happy to be there. She brought out an empty coffee mug that had crud caked on the inside bottom of the mug. Gross. She didn't notice it and we had to point it out.

Chelsea was our server and I've never felt so welcomed and appreciated. The food was also amazing. The live music added to the just pure warm reception of the place. 10/10 would go back. Thank you Chelsea!

Modern decor. Great handicapped accessible parking. Good food & service. The server was very patient, as this was our initial visit. I liked the fact that I could get seasoned green beans with my burger , instead of just French fries. We were there until closing, but weee not rushed.

This was my second try at liking this location, but it fell short again. My first try was the Mother's Day brunch, but due to it being a buffet and not the regular menu I wanted to give it another go. I started out with the french onion soup and was disappointed in the lack of flavor. For my entree I went with the sirloin steak and baked potato. I had to send back the steak because it wasn't cooked as requested. Our waitress was quite absent during our time there so she had another woman drop our food at our table. By the time our waitress came back to check on us the person I was with was halfway done with their meal. Whenever I told our waitress about my steak she looked at the person I was with and suggested that she share her steak with me since it was cooked right. Not the most appropriate response to say the least.

We had dinner here because we also dined at their restaurant in North Carolina. The atmosphere was very comfortable. We had an accomadating attentive waiter and our dinner did not disappoint. My dining mate and I ordered the French onion soup, the salmon and steak dinner and the beer battered cod entree. Everything was delicious. Good portion size, food came out hot and plated nicely and prices reasonable. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience and a great dinner.

Half full espresso martini and the bartender refused to make us a full drink.

i ordered an espresso martini for happy hour which should have been half off. it came to the table half full. We asked the waitress if we could have a new one and the bartender came over and gave me sass saying I was wrong and that's how martinis are served. he said he would comp the drink since we were not happy. we received the bill and he charged the full price for the drink (not even happy hour price) and gave us more sass once we asked it to be removed. the staff wouldn't even get the manager they refused because he was cooking on the line. they had a total of 8-10 tables and said they were soooooo busy they couldn't handle the current rush... average food, average drinks, poor poor service, angry rude staff. Never have I been to a restaurant where the bartender argued with me. This is why no one goes here anymore.

Our servers we incredible. My water never went empty and their knowledge of the food and how it's prepared and which cocktail to have with your food! SO IMPRESSIVE Met the GM, so kind and knowledgeable! Very proud of their product and he stand by the freshness and quality, which I LOVE! I sampled some different items tonight with my husband and we were BLOWN AWAY AT THE FLAVOR COMBINATIONS What I like is you can get the classics, but there is an elegance to the food and drinks and that is something special for Washington County! The restaurant is super clean and gives a very modern and trendy feel! Great please for a business lunch, drink after work, or dinner with the family!

Happy hour 5-7

So the larger your group is, the harder it will be for you to get a table. Parking can get tricky too. My own gaggle of friends has learned to carpool, and we accept that we won't always be seated directly together. Like any good diner, Dog House's menu has plenty of breakfast options, along with burgers and sandwiches. The menu is simple but solid, and the prices are reasonable. The French toast is my bestie's favorite, and I can confirm that their burgers and Belgian waffle are also quite good. Most recently I ordered the Chicken & Waffles; it was tasty, but I admittedly wish it came with more syrup. Also wouldn't have been upset if it came with one more tender since they were on the smaller side. The staff are very nice and they clearly work as quickly as possible. Of course, their speed is always dependent on how busy the diner is overall. I'll echo other reviewers saying that if you go in expecting to eat at a small town diner, you won't be disappointed. And my recommendation is to order a breakfast item or a burger to get the whole small town diner experience!

The corn, peas, onion, cheese medley complemented the meal, as the coleslaw screamed: "More, please!" Thank you, Spring House. We will be back. They had live music, farm activities, and a lot of stuff for kids to see. There is a big slide area which my son loved. There is also a second slide behind the building where there is outdoor seating. It was a nice area that allowed parents to eat while the kids continued to play. We all split a bunch of the food options. We had the whole chicken, ribs, cabbage and noodles, Mac and cheese, and potato salad. Everything was delicious. You can tell it is all homemade. The ribs were my favorite. The meat was so tender, it fell off the bone. The bbq sauce was also delicious. The cabbage and noodles were also really good. Before leaving we got some of their ice cream. I had the chocolate peanut butter and it was amazing. It had so many peanut butter pieces and the chocolate flavor was perfect. We also took a gallon of their fresh chocolate milk to go, which did not last long at our house. Highly recommend stopping here, especially for those with kids.
