WORST CURBSIDE PICKUP EVER. I received my order confirmation, which suggested "check in on your way, to shorten the wait time". The link doesn't work. Arrived to find all 4 parking spaces for curbside full.... 3 were locked cars without drivers. Called the number to let them know I was there... 4 times, receiving the answer "this number not set up to take messages". Parked in my far away space and walked into the store... was redirected from customer service to "pickup area". Waited 5 minutes for someone to show up. I explained the situation, she does not acknowledge the problem, says she doesn't know anything about the link to notify the store I was on my way. Does not know where the phone number from the curbside parking signs rings, and that she has not received any calls. I show her my phone with the calls listed and she says "I can't do anything without your order number". I give her the number and she dumps my package on the counter and goes back to her phone. I ask for a manager, she looks up, not happy I am still there and looks around. Tries to make a phone call, but a new call comes in... " I had a customer on the line, I can't help you"! WHAT? A young employee comes into the area, she YELLS at him to call a manager. He says I don't know how to do that. As she is walking out of the area, she yells "4455". He looks at me, dials 4455, doesn't say anything and hangs up. He does this 3 times and just stands there. I asked him if the call went through, he said "I THINK SO"? I ask where the store manager hides out, so I head over to customer service and wait in line to ask for a manager. He at least listened, and said he will take care of it. However, there was no attempt to call me down or apologize or assure me this is not how this store operates. I am just one little customer... without any ability to make an impact, and that is how I felt walking out of that store. read more

Ordered a shelf online. Picked it up same day. Lady behind the counter was professional. Older gentlemen assisted me in carting it out. Younger employee already outside also helped load the shelf into my vehicle. Pleasant experience overall, which has not always the norm when retail shopping amongst the hustle & bustle. Even though that store is open until 11pm, they will only accept returns until 7pm. I've never heard of anything like it. Will make sure to avoid shopping here in the future. Prices aren't that different at Target, but merchandise is higher quality as is customer service. read more

I agree with all the reviews that are negative. This location needs to be closed down. I recently went there to return a box of pot I got as a gift for Christmas. Online the price $79.99. I arrived and waited in that long ass line got to the font and the Mexican lady who thinks she runs that walmart stated I couldn't return it with out a receipt because it's over $15. She said you can go to another Walmart . I told her ; I'm not going no where and asked her where is her manager. I asked her for the district manager information and she kept pointing to the wall like that's the only manager information she knows. I waited almost like 20/25 mins on a manager above her and after that she stated I can help you lol. Weird. Yea the manager never came. She gave me a store credit for $64. Walmart should only be located in certain areas to me. This location is dirty. 1 cashier for 10 items or less and 1 or 2 regular cashier ( this is anyone time I go the this store ) it's never no one in the departments to help EVER. In the cosmetic department, many of the items are locked up. There's a button to push for service, to have an employee unlock the case. Today, I waited about 30 minutes, after pushing the call button numerous times and asking several employees for help. Finally, I flagged down a cashier who was just returning from her break. She had a key and was able to unlock the case. The item I wanted was $5.97. Give me a break. That's the last time I will be buying any cosmetics from Walmart. Total lack of service. What a joke of a Walmart. I'm new to the area and always used to go to the super center in Burbank, but came here for the first time today and will never come back. Cashiers were super slow , they looked super miserable. Got some groceries for the week including hot dog packets and when I got home I cooked them up, a bite in and they tasted sour. Checked the package and they expired a week ago! Why the hell is this still on the shelves ? Why haven't the workers checked and taken them away ? I'm glad I was the only one who bit into it and my kids didn't eat it yet. What a waste of 15 dollars , I called customer service and they just placed me on hold and never came back on the phone. I was in the store today and i had the worst encounter with a very rude cashier Lynn was her name not only did she suggest that my fiancé had no relationship with my step daughter she said and I quote " is this some kind of family or something im trying to figure out the relations here because you dont look like the rest" i felt very insulted because we are tan and my step daughter is of very fair complexion. Ordered a couple bikinis online had them shipped here and picked them up today. Came about noon it was a zoo! Stood in the customer service line for 15 minutes only to be sent on the back to pick up the items. Once I got there it was quick, you check in with the order number at a kiosk, then they give you the items. Went and grabbed some toilet paper and vitamins, lotion. Check our line went pretty fast. Customer service isn't the greatest. The cashier didn't even offer me a bag so I just walked out with all my items. The store is huge and well stocked if you don't mind unruly kids and mediocre customer service by all means come on down! read more

My visit to Walmart at the fallbrook shopping center was absolutely horrendous!! There were shopping carts alll over the parking lot and it was frustrating finding a parking spot. After 15 minutes of looking for parking and putting some carts in the cart corral since none of the associates or managers seem to care about customers having parking or shopping carts, I was able to park. Then during my visit I went to the bathroom which was completely disgusting!! There was feces all over the toilet seat and what I believe is urine all around the base of the toilet!!! It was completely horrible !! Then during my time shopping for a dog bed I selected one that I seemed to like, it was a decent size and was marked on the shelf (well stocked to remind you) as $39.99; later when I was at check out the bed came up as $49.99. There were also no dog bones available for purchase and other pet products came up as different prices that were displayed on the shelves! I'm never coming back to ANY WALMART establishment AGAIN! Any associates I brought any issues to seemed to not care ! This has been a problem I'm the past an I hoped it was going to be different but man was I wrong!! This is the most disappointing experience of my life ! I was only able to take a pic of a FEW carts in the parking lot as I was in a hurry ! I just had the quintessential Wal-Mart experience. I had received a Wal-Mart store coupon for Bush's Chili Beans buy two cans any size, any flavor and get $1 off. So I went to the Wal-Mart at 6433 Fallbrook Ave, West Hills, CA 91307 and did my shopping. I got my things and went to get the Bush' chili beans. I found the Bush's beans, but there were no chili beans, no empty spot for them. I asked the guy stocking the shelves "Where are the chili beans?" He pointed down the aisle on the other side and said "Chili beans are down there." There were Dennison's Chili beans and a few other brands but no Bush's chili beans and no empty spot. So I went back to the chili bean free Bush's section and grabbed two cans of Vegetarian beans. And headed for the cashier. The cashier said "This coupon is for Chili Beans, these aren't chili beans, it isn't going through." I replied "Show me where the Bush's chili beans are and I will get them." Said the cashier "We don't carry the chili beans." Needless to say, I walked away. Two and a half stars and Yelp GIVES you one star just for existing. read more

Don't do Walmart curbside at the Fallbrook location... 2nd store to F up on a simple curbside pickup today. This is the 2nd time I have used Walmart curbside here. The first time they had the spaces reserved, and the app didn't work but you could call in for curbside pickup once you arrived. Today, the app didn't work but said come down to pickup. There is no curbside pickup anymore, they pulled it all down and expect you to go stand in long lines in their crowded stores during a pandemic; especially those of us with elderly loved ones with medical conditions we have to take extra precautions for. The parking lots are packed and endless crowds I'm guessing are going to risk it for some discounted items. I have been back here four times to pick up a prescription. The doctor has confirmed it three times still haven't got it. They claim they didn't receive the doctor's electronic notification. The person in the line in front of me was arguing about the same thing he said the doctor sent to request five hours before. They are claiming they don't receive doctor's notifications I think so they don't have to fill prescriptions. They are clearly understaffed. They will call you from private phones so the calls can't be logged. Some patients may die waiting for prescriptions to be filled by the Falbrook West JHills Walmart Pharmacy. read more

I called the store 4 times to notify them I'm outside got transferred and disconnected about 20times and waited for an hour right by the front door until I went in a grabbed my order. I'm usually not the type to rant on yelp and write a bad review....but goddamn! The vibes in this store are so unbelievably awful I felt that I had to. Between the shitty to no customer service and the fact that half the products are broken or laying on the ground this store must have an awful management team. Every single employee looked like they'd rather die than work another minute in there. As someone who's worked in customer service since I was legally able to, I understand not enjoying your job and not being in a good mood but I have never treated someone as rudely as almost every single employee treated me, even when i'm being yelled at by an ultra Karen. The sad thing is, as much as I would LOVE to call out the specific workers who were rude to me, I don't even blame them. Any business not willing to pay attention to the happiness levels of their employees, is a business that's run like shit. If it had been just 1 employee who treated me awfully maybe I would hold them accountable but of the 5 employees I interacted with, only 1 was decent to me. Decent. As in, he was the only one to not speak to me extremely rudely. When I asked one woman for help she said "that's not my job to do that, goodbye." When I literally just asked her to unlock an iphone charger for me. I was then turned down for help by another 2 employees before someone finally came to help me. I finally thought I was in the clear and could just checkout and go home. But nope, the guy at the register ALSO gave me extreme attitude. I had wanted to purchase an item that had no price tag (which every single one of that same item that they sold also had no price tags on it) so I kindly apologized to him, knowing it meant he had to go do a price check and spend more time on me. His response: "what do you want me to do about it?" At this point I was extremely pissed off because I had to PLEAD with him to even send someone to do a price check for me. He eventually half-assedly dismissed me to the side to wait for someone to come help me without even explaining that that's what he was doing. Are you fucking kidding me? I honestly should've just grabbed the item and walked right out, if your not going to bother to find out the price then I guess it's free right? lmao. He couldn't even muster a fake ass kind sentence to inform me I had to wait to get it price checked, he just used a hand-motion that told me to step out of line. Seriously made me want to walk right out and never return, and I probably won't be. The Walmart on Fallbrook and Victory Blvd in West Hills Ca leaves a lot to be desired. Most of the people associates in this store can not understand or speak English. Secondly I was at the pharmacy today Sunday July 21.2019 asking the pharmacist a question and when I turned around my cart was gone. When I went to tell a supervisor all she could say was sorry. This is total BS! Finally when I wanted to return items without a receipt I was to wait 3 months because I had brought some other items back. The reason I had to bring these items back was because I went to my dermatologist and found out I was alerting to any fragrance product including body wash , body lotion , face soap and antiperspirant but you did not care. Insane long lines. Way understaffed at the registers. It took a half hour to purchase anything and the lines for self check out were equally as bad. In fact, I was writing this review while I was waiting in line. No sweat of their shoulders though since these big chain companies are basically monopolies in this inflated economy. The higher ups literally put them in a position where they can't do anything about anything except say they're sorry. For some strange phenomenon this Walmart attracts some of the scariest people around. Today while in the long return line the security guard and a customer almost got in a fist fight in front of my child. They were yelling profanities and almost went at it. Then I waited in line with by far the rudest and most unintelligent employees in the planet. They do not know hoe to use their computers, they speak broken english, and they don't like what they do, that is why they will make you wait in line for an unnecessary long amount of time because they do not know how to implement problem solving strategies. Bought a mini fridge online and was surprised how cheap it was for such a high quality looking one so I was happy with that. It said store pickup was going to be available in 7 days which was a little longer than I thought but that's ok, it was all free shipping I just preferred to pick it up. Suddenly my living situation changed so after about 4 days I had to cancel the order cause I didn't need it anymore and they were able to give me a full refund at the press of like 2 buttons. I've never really been to a Walmart but I did however recently discover the Walmart app and have begun to purchase so many of my needs this way. Super convenient and good prices. I had several large boxes delivered that contained a bunch of little stuff. I realized that on one of these purchases I made of couple mistakes in my haste to order a bunch of things. One said it was a 4" plant pot..it was the size of a Togo ramekin that would fit dressing. Ok..well I also ordered two cheap eyebrow pencils, one was $6.99 (the correct price )and the other was $18.00??!! Same brand too!! Anyway, I'm an AVID on line shopper and I'm very used to getting in my car to make easy returns when necessary! NOPE, it took me 20 min to get to this local Walmart in SoCal traffic. I stood in the return line that was like 10 people deep and not in any hurry to move. I had my new Walmart app opened up and ready to go with the two products I wanted to return so that I could be more efficient for myself and everyone behind me. Well they proceed to ask me for the original shipping box..huh?? The HUGE Walmart box that 10 other products were delivered in? Like I said, I'm very experienced with on line returns and ive NEVER been asked for the original shipping box! The girl does a some act like she's looking for or something. She does a few weird circles and then proceeds to tell me that she "doesn't have anything to ship my products back in" I'm like huh? Then she tells me I can go into the store and BUY something to ship my eye pencil and plant ramekin back in. I'm absolutely bewildered. I point towards the store and say "let me understand this...you want me to go into that store..buy something to be able to return these two products that Im attempting to returned from Walmart.com" Mmm no. Is this a weird dream...I demand to speak to a manager. Miriam comes over and is less competent than Nasrim the return "representative". They proceed to tell me I can't return these products anyway (after 10 minutes of going back and fort) because I bought it from a 3rd party vendor!! I bought it from Walmart.com! I walked out with my undersized misrepresented plant pot and my outrageously overpriced cheap eyebrow pencil and the loss of my time. Automatic 1 star for checking receipts upon leaving. Do you know you don't have to wait in line or have to allow them to check your receipt upon leaving? It's wrongful detention, if they try to stop you, ask if you're being detained, if they say yes, ask for a lawyer or better yet sue them for wrongly detention, they can't detain you by law. They would be foolish to tell you you're being detained. They can ask you to leave but they can't detain you. Always remember that. Showing a receipt is not mandatory on your part. They can stop you and tell you they suspect you of shoplifting and try to detain you but they can't detain you for failing to show them your receipt. You don't have to show your receipt upon leaving, just refuse or say no thank you and walk out. The only place you have to show a receipt is Costco or Sam's Club, where those are private memberships and a requirement of said membership to show your receipt. Even though Walmart owns Sam's Club, they can't enforce the receipt check at Walmart as it's not a private club. For Walmart to be doing this is theatrical in nature and don't let them degrade you by having to show a receipt on your purchase. Just walk out. Don't let them humiliate you. You paid for the items, even the receipt is your property, don't let them snatch it from your hands like they always do. read more
