Where they fall short is delivery of glasses. Initially I was told it would take 2 weeks for my glasses to come in. That is not usual for most places. But two weeks went by, then three. I called to follow up and they said they should be delivered that week. Week four went by then week six... no call. So I stopped in and lo and behold, my glasses had been sitting there. They insisted they had sent me a text. They had not sent me a text, I verified my contact information and all was correct. They never called, they never texted. So I'm dropping a couple stars for not being forthcoming about not calling me. I would have gladly accepted an apology but nah they stuck by their story. Maybe I'll have better luck at a different location.

I have multiple complex eye issues going on at the same time and he is very accommodating and understanding - which is great for someone like me who is terrified of having people and objects go near her eyeballs (think Kubrick's "A Clockwork Orange"). I never feel pressured to spend money I don't have, and though it can be complicated every year billing and I work together to parse through my primary and secondary medical insurances as well as my vision insurance to get everything covered as much as possible. I never have a problem getting squeezed in when I scratch my cornea either - though that happens far less frequently now than it used to as we have figured out why it kept happening and how to better prevent it. He has no ego like so many other doctors and sent me to a retina specialist and now they work together, and we coordinate with my migraine management schedule to try and take tests at the right time. If anything doesn't work for me I typically have what I would consider a long window of time to test and return for either a refund or replacement - imagine if other doctors did that for medications or treatments! Huge shout-out to Jen/Jenn/Jenny (please forgive me - I am terrible with names) is AH-MAZE-ING when it comes to frame adjustments so she has been able fit all my frame choices to not only crooked features but also to adjust the nose bridge flare and and other angles for the more "Alternative Fit" I need - which is harder to do when you only wear acetate frames. She's a magician, I swear it, and if you ever find that your frames never seem to look right or fit right, or after a while they need re-adjusting, call and ask when she'll be in to ask for her help. I have even learned the hard way that sometimes my Rx is right but after adjustments (and sometimes due to the shape/curvature of the frames initially) need to be tweaked with added measurements.

Dr Minh Nguyen was the absolute BEST eye doctor I dealt with…read more In 12 months, I dealt with 2 optometrist and 3 ophthalmologist to try to see clearly. I went to 5 in ONE YEAR !!! Dr Nguyen was SO MUCH BETTER than anyone I got to see who actually tried to fix my blurriness with glasses..... AND succeeded!!! I can truthfully say Dr Nguyen was actually more perfect for my eyesight than all the others in 2025.

I was really impressed with my check up experience at Rosemore with Dr Chen because of her thoroughness, patience, and friendliness. Rosemore had all the newest equipment to make the check up appointment efficient and comfortable, because let's admit it... getting close ups of your eye balls is not the best feeling. I asked a ton of questions because frankly I'm nosy and want to know everything about what is being done and why (is there a Netflix documentary on eyeballs?). To my delight, Dr Chen happily answered all my questions while teaching me a bit on eye science. The facility itself looks brand spanking new and immaculately clean. There was a frames show room up front, but I didn't take any home with me this time. However, I'll be back soon to pick up my next set of hipster glasses! The appointment process online was super quick and easy. I did have a quick question on my insurance, and they were able to answer it immediately via the phone. Yay efficiency! The doctor told me I had dry eyes and the beginning of cataracts. My previous eye doctor had never mentioned this to me. He prescribed Meiobe which can have a ton of side effects. I only took it a couple of times & it made my eyes blurry. He also told me I had an ingrown eyelash, which I couldn't see or feel. He said even though it didn't bother me it bothered him so he supposedly removed it & he charged it to insurance. He wrote a new prescription for eye classes. I picked out of frames. I was told they were on backorder. I called several times & they weren't available. After a couple of months, I picked out some frames at another place and had my prescription filled. The prescription was way off. I went back to the Rosemore eye care and was told that I would have to get a new eye exam and pay for it because I got the glasses somewhere else. They actually told me that the other place might've put the lens in backwards I went to Plano eye associates in Plano and got a new exam. I do not have dry eyes or cataracts. The rosemore eye prescription had gone from a two to a three for my prescription and the new exam showed I needed a 2.5. I got the new prescription put in my new frames and they are wonderful. Rosemore only cares about money. They don't care about you.

I was able to get an appointment the same week that I scheduled it. They took care of my insurance. I told them my husband was my primary and they simply copied all of the insurance information over from his file to mine so that I didn't have to spend so much time digging up and giving this info in the phone or in person. They did scan my driver's license, which made me feel uncomfortable, but I do understand their need for personal verification. They had digital equipment that was able to scan my eye without needing to be dilated. Technology is amazing now! The doctor was willing to work with me and my unusual stigma. After trying for sometime to find the right focus, she actually gave me control of the wheel and said spin and focus it until I felt it was good. I really appreciated the help and the empowerment. She also explained that my eye might not ever have the standard of vision I hoped for because of the stigma. Armed with that knowledge, I could relax knowing there was nothing more that could be done at this time. There were no high-pressure eyeglass sales. They are all about giving you an eye appointment, and that's just what they did. I was so thankful for this. I will definitely be back next year if my insurance still works here.

I don't know if they've recently taken over the office. Regardless, they are to the right of the Vision Works glasses and contacts retailer. The office staff was not extremely outgoing that day, but it sounded like someone had called in, so perhaps they were in a mood because of it. Dr. Ho first struck me as being doubtful of what I was telling her about my eyes, which was odd. Quite frankly, it almost made me want to leave. She finally seemed convinced after completing my exam. Again, I'm not sure if the vibe was just off there that day or what. My exam was fine. There is one thing I am really annoyed about and it's that I specifically said I needed a detailed receipt to provide to my FSA provider and they never sent one. I know they have my email correct in their system because I received their reminder emails about my appointment. I don't understand why don't doctor's offices find this concept difficult to understand. I don't like having to call to ask again.

Dr Brooks is a wonderful optometrist! I've worn glasses for…read more60+ years, & my vision is off-the-charts bad (nearsightedness, astigmatism, prism, etc). I've been a challenge at exam time & a challenge to labs. Dr Brooks was highly rated, so I decided to give her a try. She had all the latest gadgets that make exams quick, but she also knows the traditional techniques at work better for extreme vision patients. When she figured out my prescription, she told me there was one lab best suited to make my complex lenses, and that's who she used. They made the lenses right the first try, and I walked out seeing properly on the first trial. A few little later, I experienced a sudden vision problem: I literally saw stars in one eye. I drove to Eye Source on a Saturday afternoon, & was examined immediately. Dr Brooks phoned a Retina specialist & they decided I'd be OK until Monday. After I had laser Retina surgery, Dr Brooks re-checked my vision (still good). In short, I've gotten great service for my messed-up eyes!
