An employee (security) is making threats online to the general public. Tried contacting management about it and their response was to say "If you're that concerned, contact authorities." then hung up. Good to know the company is okay with a security guard (who stated multiple times he has a stun baton) that is a threat to others and condones that type of behavior. Contracted from a third party or not, I would think if it came to their customers safety they would do or say something, not just write off a customer's concerns. read more

My daughter had her oil changed at the Ukiah Walmart, the drain plug fell out on Hwy 101 at the Perkins Exit. I had AAA tow the car to our mechanic. I called Walmart and got attitude and was told that I should have left the car on the Hwy shoulder until the Walmart "mechanics" could come look at it. Really? This is one of the dirtiest, disorganized walmarts I have ever been in. I am visiting Ukiah and this walmart gave me anxiety, the aisles were placed and set up very poorly. They dont have a big stock of things, it was the first time Inhave ever left a walmart empty handed. It seemed more like a thrift store than a walmart. The team members arent very friendly and its not even decorated well for Christmas like most walmarts are. It seems they need a new manager or someone that will put in more effort into this store to make it look nice and more organized. read more

I go to walmart often 2 times a month or more I love the prices and the people that work there well most of them are awesome you ask where something is they show you with a smile I saw one review stating they saw a mouse in the store in all the 19 yrs I have been shopping there I have not seen one mouse in there it is a clean store and when you point out a mess someone made and just left there they clean it up promptly. read more

I do not go here to shop unless absolutely necessary, but it is the most stressful, unpleasant experience every time. They were out of bags at checkout and the shelves are always half empty in the grocery section(no matter what day ). The employees always have the aisles blocked stocking the shelves during business hours(why not stock after closing at 12 am?) Trying to find associates to help you is a lost cause as well. I have to rate it 3 stars, I feel I need to since I use to come at least 3 times a week when I use to live here. Everybody knows Wally World for what it is but I have to admit I have gotten some great bargains a this particular store. Many times I have found their cute tank tops you would find somewhere else costing you at least 10 bucks where only 3 here. what a deal! So then I get every color of course lol. Since Ukiah is a small town and there isn't a K- mart and most definitely not a Target, residents have no choice but to shop here. It tends to get very crowded. Overnight parking lot camping. Not officially posted but as is obvious from the parking lot happens on a regular basis. Car broke down found myself being unexpected overnight Parker. This is my experience. At midnight a male employee who was parked in a old black suburban on the side of the building ended his shift the parking lot was quiet but included several overnighters / RV. The employee comes out starts his vehicle which has the loudest engine with the sound of the engine gargling fluids , sounds more like a motorcycle with a faulty exhaust pipe than an vehicle. He turns the engine off and instead plays rap music as loud as his factory stereo would allowed him. Several of his buddies arrived, the Walmart parking lot seems to be their favorite hang out spot . He and his friends were loud obnoxious plain out rude. Several vehicles moved to different spots trying to get away from him. When he saw this he jumped in his suburban and gunned his engine as he sped through the parking lot up and down aisles as to intimidate the overnighters coming within inches of some of the cars. His buddies left like an hour later , he is stayed in the parking lot randomly starting his engine and listening to music until 3:30 am , at which point he must have been exhausted but managed to find the energy for one more joy ride through the parking lot, scaring the hell out of everyone. Incredible he works there , sad that any person would want to stay at their job for 3 hrs after ending their shift. He made it unsafe and dangerous. Hopefully nobody is ever stuck spending the night here. The lot was dirty but well lit. Quiet except for the 3 hours the employee spent terrorizing the parking lot. read more

Ok, so I cant give a zero star rating unfortunately, so 1 star it is. Here we go. In early December I ordered a couple dolls from walmart.com to be picked up in store. I went to pick them up with an expired ID, half way argued with the woman before storming out without my dolls. Ok I get it, expired ID...cant pick up dolls. Whatever. But let me just mention that the month before i flew on an airplane twice with that same expired ID. Having come to that realization, I went back to the store and talked to a manager who let me have the dolls, so that was cool. Then about a week ago I called this store at 10 PM to ask if they had any Nintendo 3DS XL in stock before taking the ten mile trip to the store. They transferred me to electronics and I asked the woman if they had any. She replies "uhhhh i dont know." How the hell does someone that works in electronics not know if they have 3DS in stock? So she transferred me to a "higher up" that would know more about my question. (duh) So this higher up lady tells me that they are completely out of 3DS and to check back in the morning when the truck came. My boyfriend said he thought they were full of shit, so we went there that night. Sure enough, there was at least 50 or more Nintendo 3DS stocked on the shelf and anyone who isnt blind would have saw them. I complained that night to a manager. Now today, I went to get a phone card. I wasnt sure what to do to activate it at self check so I asked the self check girl if it would just activate when i scanned it or if it needed to be done a certain way. SHE WALKED AWAY AND DIDNT ANSWER ME! Fed up, I went to the customer service counter and asked for corporates number and the store number. I called corporate and they said they would look into things right away. Im also considering reporting them to the BBB. Not to mention they never have anything in stock! read more

This review is for their tire center only. While out on a road trip over the long weekend, I had a tire problem and thought that i will need replacement. I was desperately looking for a place that would fix it on July 4th! I called this tire center location and was pleasantly surprised to know that they maintained regular business hours even on public holidays! The person confirmed that they had a tire in stock that matched my requirements. When I reached there, the person looked at the tire and mentioned that I didn't have to replace the tire and he will be able to fix the problem. He did just that and saved me almost a hundred dollars! I recommend this tire center location. read more

Horrid customer service. I purchased a product that stated New York Steak..this was last week..brought it home and cooked two pieces, got sick as dogs and still ill to this day. The meat was slimey but thought it was due to pkg. Turned out it is not meat at all, but some soy product. I looked up reviews of this item and there are quite a few complaints from different states. I brought my product back to Ukiah Walmart where a lady in a tshirt that advertised another company was standing behing the Customer Service Desk with a "lane closes" sign. I told her about the product and she said no sorry cant take it back with no receipt,I tried nicely to explain to her the recpt is with my parent who works in a diff walmart, she said too bad and I asked for a manager. She didnt call a manger but a CSR named Lindsey, who came up with worn out capri pants on, when she smiled her teeth were dark yellow from smoking. She just looked at me and I explained how sick i got, no recpt ..she said sorry cant take it back and was about to walk away when I asked for the manager. CSR Lindsey didnt or wouldnt call manager for me, she laughed and walked away, so the lady at the counter called the manager. A few minutes later Drew showed up. I explained to him that this product was falsely advertised as meat, he had no problem refunding the purchases amount. After recv. the store card we went to get items to find CSR Lindsey standing in the middle of the aisle with another employee who had a ripped stretched out shirt, and when I went to her and said hey thanks for not helping she just laughed at me and said thank you. The manager Drew was standing there with her and the other employee who when we were leaving was behing the Customer Service Counter on the phone. How can you tell employees from just customers when the employees are allowed to present themselves in a totally unprofessional attire and matter. It is really sad, disappointing that something that could of been handled at a lower level via CSR Lindsy has to escalate to pulling a busy Manager to assist. read more

I had a terrible experience in the parking lot with the cart collector. He lost control of his carts and hit my cars headlight. i understood it was an accident but when i approached him to deal with it, he greeted me with aggression, anger not a Walmart smile. i asked for a manager and he rudely told me to get him myself. well i did. The clerk waited until my husband and I got up to the counter after waiting for 10 minutes in line to be told she was closed and turned the light off after we were at the counter and had already placed our items on the counter for purchase. After giving us a scowl she stated quite rudely "I'm closed." and simply walked away from us. Ukiah Wallmart. First off - dude, it's Wallmart. They 'have' everything you'd expect, for the most part, except it's not cheap like you'd expect. A lot of people go to Wallmart because it's cheap, but here since for a lot of things it's the only game in town they charge what any mainstream big box store would charge. They don't give you bags - this is NOT an environmental effort like most people seem to believe. They are using that as an excuse to save themselves the money of having to supply bags. Then, they offer to SELL you bags. Basically, they now sell a service they used to provide for free, because everybody bought the lie that a business like Wallmart cares about the environment. I was looking for a few things, and what I found was lower quality versions of what I could find elsewhere for the same price. Some of these items are: - A straw broom: nothing fancy, but the ones they had were already in sad shape - straws falling out already. - A silverware drawer organizer: I'm not paying $30 for a bamboo one, and all of the plastic ones they had came with crappy flatware, and seemed of poor quality. I have flatware that I like. I just want a plastic drawer organizer of at least decent quality. - Glasses: They have them, but why is it so hard to find standard bar sized 16 oz. pint glasses? You won't find them at Wallmart in Ukiah. - A large Teflon friendly spoon: They have the exact same two you can buy at all the grocery stores, and you might as well since they are the same price or cheaper at the grocery stores. - A cutting board: Same as the spoon - I ended up getting one at the grocery store that was better and cheaper. - Computer speakers: Forget about it. If all you want is a pair of decent computer speakers, you're out of luck. You can buy a full 5.1 system for around $100+, or you can get the cheapest, crappiest desktop speakers available for around $30. - A music player/boombox/bookshelf system: I would expect to find a boombox type cd player for around $30, but not here. More like $70 or $100+. Very limited options, and expensive. They do have a good selection of irons. There doesn't seem to be any good reason to go to Wallmart in Ukiah, and now that I've lived here about a month, I can't think of anything I would find there that I could not find someplace else. (perhaps DVDs and PC software are the only two things, now that I think about it) read more

Special shout out to AJ and Wayne for loaning my friend and I some tools and shade to replace a motorcycle tube in the early afternoon of Sunday May 21, 2017. Though probably not a norm in the corporate world due to liability issues, it's good to know some empathy still exists amongst professionals. My friend (Pat Jones) and I were on an organized motorcycle ride when we ventured off course and got a flat. Earlier in the day we sent our tools ahead with the support vehicles thinking we wouldn't need them. As Murphy's law dictates, we did need them , but had no access. We hobbled ourselves to your store seeking a service that isn't offered (repairing motorcycles tires/tubes). In non-nascar time , we were able to get up and running. Both Pat and I are Navy veterans and have been in various places of the world during circumstances of duress. I'm proud to say our service was well worth it knowing that organizations like Walmart and its associates exist to give a helping hand. Hoorah/Hooah, and God bless!! I HATE this store! The service is disgusting. The only people worth while are the elderly, but there aren't many of them. Since 2010, I've been there ZERO times. Thanks to Alice.com. and Ebay. I refuse to go there. Parking is horrible. Bums, horrible. People always trying to sell you something on your way in and out of the store. Subway stinks up the store. Prices have gone up. Only a few registers open. Lines long. Employees very unhappy, don't even small talk with you. They are talking to other employees instead of you! They could care less about you. I was with my boyfriend in Walmart as he had to pick up a prescription. As he stood in line, he noticed that one of the male employees behind the parmacy counter, picking his nose and rubbing his lips with his fingers and putting his hands to his hair. He then blew his nose on a tissue, wadded it up and threw it somewhere. He then proceeded to pick up the pill trays and empty it into bottles waiting to be filled. This guy never washed his hands or used a sanitizer, but was handling patients prescriptions and pill bottles with germy hands. I noticed the female pharmacist was doing somewhat the same thing by rubbing her face, scratching an itch on her lips and also putting her hands in her hair repeatedly. Nobody wears gloves when handling the medications. This is disgusting. He was so upset about this incident that he will not be getting his prescriptions at Walmart anymore. Also, the next day he went in to pick up his prescription but they had lost it, then it was that he didn't have any insurance anyway with them, (though he has been getting his prescriptions there for 10 years,.) He showed them his prescription card they took it to make a copy and never gave it back to him. Told him it would be 15 minutes(even tho they called him at home leaving a message the Rx was ready to be picked up), and after an hour he left. Where did they get these employees from? Were they short-staffed & the cleaning staff took over for the day? Can you imagine getting the flu, a staff infection , herpes or another STD or other communicable diseases from these clowns preparing your Rx's in a filthy environment? I know Wally World leases out their pharmacy, but this isn't a third world country. I've been in cleaner Shell stations. Get your priorities in order, Wal Mart Pharmacy. Our insurance & co-pays are good anywhere. read more

My boyfriend and I stopped in Walmart today while we were in Ukiah. We live in Fort Bragg so whenever we make a trip over the hill we stop in and grab a few things we can't get here. Usually shopping in Walmart is anything but a pleasant experience. It's always crowded, things are messy, and the lines are long. Today however, was one of the best experiences I've had in any store. After waiting in line for quite awhile we were greeted by the happiest checker I've ever encountered. His name was Richard and he had the warmest smile and was just genuinely a happy person. He asked us about our day, if we found everything okay, and was very quick at checking. He even tossed me my items like we were playing a game and said "you have to stay happy". It's rare you come across a checker, or any retail worker, who doesn't look like they hate life. Richard seemed genuinely happy to just be at work and to be talking to people. I hope Richard somehow sees this and knows that he truly brightened our day and that we think everybody she be more like him. read more
